CK14 is absolutely, hands down, my favorite brunch in all of New York City. I have brunch here every weekend without fail, have every party here and even had my wedding rehearsal here! The staff is some of the most caring, fun, best people I have had the pleasure to meet. They are my family. From Leah and her ridiculously amazing drinks to Frank and his top notch brunch service no matter how crazy it gets to Jack and her unwavering way of making you laugh and smile and just feel wonderful to Andrea and her infectious laugh, amazing service and killer style to really everyone. I could go on and on! I love them. The food is AMAZING. The brunch burger is out of control. The unlimited mimosas are obviously amazing. The shepherds pie?! Yum! And I can’t forget the French fries and sweet potato fries. Without fail I get them at every visit. I am clearly obsessed and in love with this place. You need to visit and stay awhile! (Just don’t take my place at the bar lol!!)

Best brunch ever. Was immediately sat down… the staff here is extremely friendly. Highly recommend for all who seek a good time. If I could give it a 6⁄5 stars I would

A cute, cozy place. Sitting in the back I think was too cramped, and the lights might’ve been a bit too dim. The waitress also hassled us every 5 minutes. Got drinks and shared nachos(average) with a friend.

Without a doubt my #1WORST dining experience ever in NYC. We went today for brunch at 1:30 and food didn’t come until 3:15. When the food finally came it was burnt to a crisp, we asked for to-go boxes and left immediately. Our waitress was apologetic but the kitchen was unacceptably behind. I can’t believe I paid $ 40 for bottomless mimosas(about 3) and a burnt omelette I threw out after one bite. I could never in my right mind ever recommend this place to anyone. There are way too many options in the area to eat here. If you want a good experience at brunch nearby go to Agave or Bubby’s, not the Crooked Knife.

Come here if you’re looking for a cute and cozy spot for brunch that has a bottomless drink special. Don’t come here if you are looking for above average food. Besides the actual meal, every aspect of my experience here was perfect. –They take reservations –Our booth was spacious and comfy –An adorable rustic vibe –Strooooong mimosas –Unlimited mimosas –Fair pricing, 32 dollars for bottomless drinks and an entrée –Excellent service Unfortunately, I wasn’t very pleased with my meal. I went with a pretty classic breakfast burrito that was stuffed with eggs, cheese and sausage and opted to have the home fries on the side. The eggs were super runny and watery, the cheese was clumpy and not evenly mixed in the burrito and the sausage was rubbery. Everything tasted and looked like a microwaveable breakfast, and it was not satisfying. I know it’s tough to find quality brunch at a bottomless spot, but after reading CK14’s decent reviews I was hoping that this would be different. Although everything minus the breakfast burrito was great, I probably wouldn’t come back again because of how unenjoyable my meal was.

Ehhh. Wasn’t blown away here. All that’s really working in its favor is that the service was quite good, and the cute indoor area of the restaurant. Nice ambiance there, but the back patio area we were seated in was really cold and damp and not a great space for brunch on a cold day. $ 32 for bottomless brunch + entrée is a good deal… if the food was better. It was nice to be given pitchers of bloody marys and mimosas so we didn’t have to keep asking for drinks. But the food was just seriously underwhelming. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing… but I just wasn’t blown away but most of what I saw. I didn’t want an egg dish as I had something earlier with eggs that morning, so I opted for the salmon and asparagus cakes, essentially crab cake style with salmon and asparagus. They were seriously under seasoned, no really flavor at all. A super dense salmon patty with the asparagus really being quite non-existent. My boyfriends breakfast burrito was better, but to me, not so good that it warrants my coming back to this place. There are so many other brunch places with much better food and beverage combos. This place will remain a one and done for me. Deal Seeking Diva tip: $ 32 bottomless drinks, mimosas and bloody marys for 2HRS + entrée. While it’s not too bad, you can go somewhere for something better.

Horrible service. They take our reservation for 5 then give us crap when we get there(the black female hostess) and sit us in this nook that could barely fit 2. She then says they did us a favor because they were full. We didn’t ask for a favor, if you are full say your full. It wasn’t the fact that they were full that made me upset. It’s the fact that the lady did not care about providing the slightest bit of customer service. She couldn’t have been any more rude. Completely unnecessary.

Brunch: very good bottomless option for the area — mimosas were strong and fresh(not made the night before like some places). They have a wonderful outdoor space for the summer. I won’t say the food is the best I have ever had but the BE&C sandwich hit the spot. Despite it being really busy, my glass was very never empty and they even kept serving us long after the limit had passed. They take reservations through Open Table but you might be able to walk in, if your party is small enough. I enjoyed my experience and it was a good deal!

CK14 pros: — good bottomless brunch — really cute outdoor space — perfect for aforementioned bottomless brunch — decently priced cocktails CK14 cons: — the food is only okay — nothing here will blow your socks off(and I’ve been here a few times for brunch + dinner)

Maybe it’s a good brunch spot, but I was here for dinner. Food is odd.(Pulled pork sandwich on white bread?) Average at best flavor-wise. Service was strained but not their fault. Holiday party overwhelm — 30 last-minute people according to waitress. Frankly, I don’t see the point.

Really enjoyed this place for dinner and would come back for brunch! I made reservations on OpenTable and luckily I did because this place got busy for dinner. Beer, wine, and well drinks were happy hour specials. Always a plus in NYC. I had the chicken pot pie, my girlfriend got the shepherds pie and we each enjoyed our meals. The pastry crust on mine was phenomenal! A great low-key catch-up spot.

So excited to go back to this place as I visited last summer and fell in love with the atmosphere the service and the food but sadly this place let me down when I visited on a busy Saturday afternoon. I’ll start from the beginning, I had made a reservation an hour prior to going to the restaurant and was very glad that they accepted my reservation to begin with, after arriving at the restaurant I was greeted by an unfriendly waitress letting me know it would take a while, she proceeded to just walk away without another word maybe offering a seat at the bar which was clearly empty nothing. I took upon myself to grab myself a seat at that bar as I didn’t want to wait in the busy passageway that the hostess left me at. I sat at the bar for about 15 minutes before a bartender even acknowledged my presence, not knowing if I was actually going to sit at the bar or just waiting for a table. After finally being seated, the table being in the most inconvenient place as its right in the way of wind coming in from the outside and just the shuffling of everyone coming in and out of the garden area, just felt in the way and uncomfortable the entire time. Now we get to the food, I decided to go for the steak and eggs and I prefer my steak well done as that is how I like to eat it! I am including a picture of my «well done» steak on here for reference, the food which I expected to switch my experience on the place was also like everything else. I get it, it’s NYC, it’s brunch time, but if you know your volume you should be prepared there are no excuses to provide bad service and food

Bottom line. Great boozy brunch. All you can drink mimosas and bloody Mary’s including one entrée for $ 39 bucks. The waitress came back in a timely manner whenever we needed drinks. The omelete was good, the salmon cakes were delicious, and even the burger was tasty. Def a place to add to your boozy brunch list. Since another party was coming after us and we were having such a great time they moved us to a booth in the front which was awesome of them. I will def come back.

My first time here for sunday brunch. I called and they said they were busy, but when I arrived, something opened up and was able to be seated right away. Ordered the burger and got the bottomless brunch. They offer mimosas and bloody mary’s for $ 32. The mimosas were super good and watching them make it, they added a lot of champagne topped off with orange juice. The bloody mary’s were pre-made, but we didn’t get any. The burger patty was huge and super delicious, and the fries were tasty as well. It was definitely super filling. The service was good and other waiters stepped in to help when our main waitress was preoccupied with other customers, which I appreciated. Good experience!

I’ve heard a lot of hype for this place, so a friend & I checked it out while the weather was still nice enough to request patio seating. There was a hair in my napkin. The waitress was very apologetic about it, so I’m willing to say, «Sh*t happens.» As accommodating as she was about this, though, the service was pretty slow. The restaurant was completely empty inside & only had about 5 – 10 other tables outside, so if someone’s drink has been empty for 15 minutes, you should probably notice that. Aside from the subpar service, the food was great. My friend & I shared the meat and cheese plate, and it was served with this awesome guava paste. The drinks were pricey, but STRONG. I didn’t love nor hate my experience, so if I were out of ideas in the area I’d probably go back!

The service at this place is awful. I was so excited to come and I was very disappointed. The food was mediocre and the bottomless mimosas are basically orange juice with a splash of cheap champagne. We asked for a side of French toast which were the worst French toast I’ve ever had, yet they still charged it like an entrée. $ 13 for that and the sausage that came with it was even worse. The waiters are slow and inattentive to the tables. I had to wave down the waitress for everything from salt, to ketchup, to refills. Etc. and worst of all chase down the waiter just to play the bill. The place itself is cute but the service sucks and the food is just OK. I won’t be coming back.

Came here for boozy brunch in celebration of my boyfriends birthday. Reasons why this place rocks– 1. Able to make a reservation for 15 people the wk of with no credit card hold etc. 2. Outdoor patio/garden is too cute, nicely shaded and roomy 3. Bottomless brunch deal is truly a deal, entrée+ all you can drink bloodies/mimosas for $ 39, 2hr limit 4. Bloody Mary mix is tasty definitely homemade and mimosa refills were easily obtained because they were served in carafes! 5. Food was also good, recommend the brunch burger 6. Service was awesome, they kept both booze and water refills coming. When they needed us to give up our outdoor space after 2 hrs, they filled up two more mimosa carafes and set us up at a lounge space indoors to keep hanging The overall vibe of this place was fun low key hipster and from the outside is actually deceiving(looks like standard basement bar entrance) we all really enjoyed ourselves and left feeling great ;)

I was so unbelievably pleased with the entire experience at CK14. I made a reservation here after going to the other location last fall and expecting a similar time — your run-of-the-mill unlimited brunch ambiance in a casual restaurant. I was absolutely BLOWN away by how different CK14 was. First of all, I called only a week in advance and was able to get a reservation for 15 people. To make it even better, I called only a few days in advance to completely change the date, and they were absolutely able to accommodate me. They were great about calling to confirm, and they sat us outside in their patio space. I highly recommend sitting out there — great space next to a makeshift tiki bar and the chalkboard listing the«Rules of Brunch,» which are absolutely relevant to my group of friends… They do have a large indoor seating area too with a large bar area if the weather is not too nice. The ONLY complaint is how bright the sun was, but I would be a terrible person if I docked a star for that. The service was incredible — really friendly hostess and a star of a waitress who gave us pitchers upon pitchers of perfectly done mimosas without us even having to ask! The menu is large with both breakfast and lunch options. My friends got all different things ranging from the blueberry pancakes to the omelette. I got the breakfast burger, which was done perfectly(after they advised me to get it done medium). I got it with a side salad instead of the homefries, and it was really good! It’s so difficult to find a bottomless place where the service is great, the food is superb, the drinks are strong, AND they don’t give you a hard time. CK14 does all of the above. It’s one of my favorite brunch spots in the city now, and I will definitely be returning.
