My go to watch place for a battery change or band adjustment. They’re always super friendly and even better, super quick! Oh and really cheap too. Only $ 8 for a battery change. I’ll be honest though, if you have an extremely high end watch that needs a battery change or any kind of serious fixin’ I’d go to the parent store you bought the watch from. Oh andd they also repair shoes and make key copies if you ever need any of that.

Came in the other day for two battery replacements. Read the good reviews and decided to give it a try. The battery in one of the watches was replaced and its working fine. The other watch, a polar rs300x was given back to me with a broken strap. Their suggestion for fixing the problem was to glue it back on, knowing that it would not last. I did not make a fuss about the broken strap, although the watch is now destroyed, and asked if they replaced the battery on that one as well. They said yes, I asked to pay for it and left. On the way home I decided to check the watches and the polar did not work. So not only they broke my watch, but the made me pay for two batteries when they only replaced one. When an establishment decides to rip someone off for 10 $ it should tell you something about their mentality and they way they go about business. Enough said. I will not be going back.

«You may go to this place just for battery replacement or belt adjustment but not a serious professional watch repair place» I went to this place because of all the other reviews seem to be very positives don’t know if it is because I am a foreigner and don’t speak perfect English so I had completely different experience. My watch is a Swiss made quartz chrono dial watch. The dial would stop by itself for a couple of minutes and resume back to normal. I had the watch checked and the battery replaced already but it was still the same. I brought my watch to this place on a Friday afternoon at 6pm and explained the situation of my watch. The owner took my watch and told me they are already closed so he would take a look at my watch on next Monday.(However the closing time on website shows 0630pm). I am not a very pushing person so I said ok. Although I was not very happy about it. The next Thursday I called and asked them why they didn’t call me and tell me whats going on of my watch. The owner said«I called you just now but you didn’t answer». I swear to god that I didnt get any miss call or voice mail from them. But that was ok so I didn’t complain about that. Then they told me they«cleaned the watch and the watch is working right now. Nothing wrong with the battery.» So I asked«So you didnt find any problem? That is good. How much do I have to pay for the cleaning?» The owner said«No you don’t need to pay. Because I am not 100% sure its gonna work.» …huh…I came to you to fix my watch and you tell me you are not sure… Ok as long as it is free I don’t mind. Today I went there to pick up my watch. I found my watch still has the same problem nothing changed. I asked him why? He told me «Dont think too much. If you always think your watch is broken then It will brake.» «If you still want to fix it I need to take every gears apart to clean it and may cost you 80 bucks or more and I am not sure it’s gonna work» «Dont think too much?» My watch is broken and I came to you to find the problem and want to get it fix. I am pretty sure that it was not because I thought too much so my watch was broken. I would say He knows it is gonna take a lot of effort to find and fix the problem so he chose to send me away. Conclusion: Bad attitude, questionable skill, cheap? maybe, good place for basic repair but not a serious watch repair place. I give them 2 stars only bcoz they didn’t charge me anything. But I would rather to pay 100 bucks and have my watch fixed not waste my time going back and forth.

Very quick and he offered to clean my watches for free, also replacing a band pin for free. He was able to fix a problem that another repair shop couldn’t. Very friendly and quick… highly recommended!

Amazing service, very efficient. Had a battery replacement done, and soon after a repair on the back of my favorite watch, which was generously done for free. I would recommend this shop to everyone.

An overall great experience. He asked for my watch while helping another customer. He was quick and efficient. The whole battery replacement took less than five minutes and it was less than $ 10.

I have been a customer of Classic Time for more then 10 years. i used to work near by. Even though my new job is far from West 58 street I only go to Steve if I need to repair my jewlery or change a battery for me and my friends. My most incredible peaces of jewelry and my favorite Swiss watches Ebel, Cartier were purchased there. Service is outstanding, prices are unbeatable. Always feel welcomed and greeted with respect by Steve. Very honest person and you can trust him 100%.

These guys are great. The last time I was there the guy worked on my watch for seven hours and still charged me ten bucks. I would use them for any major watch repair.

I adore Stephen at Classic Time. He has repaired several of my boss’s vintage watches for far less than what Tourneau threatened to charge. The watch is ready when he says it will be, and I continue to take watches & jewelry to him for service despite not working in the neighborhood anymore. He appreciates his repeat customers. I recommend him to everyone!

I came here to get my watch fixed, the owner was very patient with all my requests! Good small place for watch repair, reasonable prices and close to the train at Columbus Circle.

Great little hole-in-the-wall right off of Columbus Ave. I bought a new band for my dad’s old watch. The repairman was very knowledgeable and friendly, didn’t push anything on me and was willing to work with my on the price. He took a special interest in the piece and was respectful of its meaning to me. I’m totally satisfied with the new band– its definitely higher quality than the stuff they hawk on the street corner. I probably could have gotten a better deal at some shady place downtown, but the extra cost was worth the prompt service and the delicate care with which the repairman handled my watch. Also, you can print a 10% off coupon on the website. I would definitely recommend this place.
