Found this shop while returning from the park. My daughter was 6 months pregnant at the time and I stopped in to check out the baby clothes. It’s harder to find cute things for little boys, so I was just hoping to find one or two things, but instead left with 2 bags full! Prices and selection were great. I then saw they had a maternity section (can’t tell that from the sidewalk view). I thought I might find her a couple pieces to get through the rest of her pregnancy, however, their selection was fairly disappointing and the prices were a little higher than I would have expected.
net/​net — if you’re looking specifically for maternity clothes, this might not be your best bet, but should be your first stop for baby clothes!

Really not a fan of this shop. Came in to look around at baby clothes. I was so excited to visit this shop that I waited a full hour for them to open… What a waste of time! The woman working, who sounded like she had been there for many many years, was chatting it up with a regular? Anyway, I was never greeted or asked once if I needed help. The two of them proceeded to dis so many baby clothing brands as well as women who dress they babies in these brands, saying how they’re so cheap and tacky. One of the brands they were dissing was Ralph Lauren which they had a plethora of in the store and I had some on my basket. After listening to 20 minutes of their disrespectful gabbing, I put everything back and left the store. Never again.

We’ve been coming to Clementine for several years, since I needed maternity clothes for my first pregnancy. I’ve always felt like they have a ton of options and a good mix of lower and higher prices. It’s also a pretty comfortable space with nice staff and snacks for the kids.

Great selection of maternity clothes, both brand-​new and gently used. Great brand names and a lot of selection. You may need to do a little bit of digging. It’s a small store but some of the best stuff are on the top racks and bottom Bins. The children’s clothes are absolutely adorable. Some very expensive brands, clothes that look like they’ve never been worn at majorly discounted prices. Highly recommend to a pregnant woman or new mom.

Great selection of designer children’s clothing and shoes. Don’t miss! Saltwater sandals! Crewcuts brand! Janie and Jack! Well organized. There was a friendly staff! Even had a maternity selection.
Store was clean and clothing was carefully selected! One of only two children’s consignment shops in Manhattan!

This place is pretty good. I found a pair of topshop maternity jeans for $ 25. I didn’t like any of the tops I tried on. The selection is very small. The clothes are in good condition. The prices are kind of high for what it is.

I went there after becoming a fan on fb. I saw an Aerosmith dress they had posted in size 2T that my 2 yr old could rock pretty well, so I wanted to get it for her. The place was kinda small and hard to move around but with the price of renting for small business in Manhattan, you can’t really blame that. I found some outfits that still had tags attached and never worn… including the Aerosmith dress. I felt like some of the prices were a little high for consignment, but at the same time, if I like it enough, I’ll spend it. I ended up spending a couple hundred for a handful of clothes but they were cute and will be worn so I guess it all works out in the end… I will go back. The only complaint is that the staff could be a tad friendlier. When we went to check out, we found out they did not accept American Express so my SO had to go looking for a ATM to grab the cash and while I waited there with my kids, I was never spoken to and felt this weird vibe. You’re a small business, and rely on your customers, so being friendly, helpful and nice is what brings them back. Some people could just be like,“Oh you don’t accept my card? Well, nevermind then,” but we still wanted to purchase so being nice would’ve been cool too.

Came here looking for maternity pants that aren’t awful and don’t break the bank. I was tired of spending endless cash on maternity clothes so I figured consignment was the way to go.
Prices on maternity clothes were pretty high for a consignment store, but my main issue with the store is that pretty much everything was in size XS or S. I found pretty much nothing in my size, which was frustrating. If you’re smaller, they do have quite a few bins full of clothes that are $ 10 a piece. There were definitely some name brands here, everything was just very small in size or very expensive.
Although I won’t come back to look for maternity clothing, I’ll consider coming back for baby clothes. I did a quick look at the baby clothes and some of them seemed a little dirty, especially for the price, but they did have some good items that I would consider buying.

I bought a skirt here for $ 50 — checked online and I could have bought the same skirt new for $ 30. Admittedly the $ 30 was a markdown from $ 59, but that is still far to high for a worn item at a consignment shop. And of course it is all final sale.

Amazing baby clothes selection! I bought 2 baby dresses that are worth $ 100 and up for only $ 18. Quality and unique pieces for a fraction of the cost. A must! Baby show selection was larger than I expected. We bought a pair of white leather ballet shoes for only $ 10. This is a children’s boutique consignment– more high end clothing. Not a TJ Maxx or macys. European designs and labels here.

I have bought my favorite maternity clothes there and will be going later this week for my girls first spring outfits.
Just love their selection, warm and laid back atmosphere.

Store is well organized, and salesperson is super friendly. I got 2 pairs of pants, a dress, and a skirt for $ 70 total– and they are great quality and look barely worn. Will definitely be coming back!

Best place for great affordable baby/​toddler clothes in the Village!

I live in the neighbourhood and was really excited to go shopping for used baby clothing, this is a really cute store and I bought a couple of Aden and Anais swaddling blankets, a Onesie and a couple more things, when I got home I looked online and was stunned to find out that I had paid $ 12.99 for a used swaddling blanket when I could have bought 4 for $ 29.99 online! they should really have sold it for $ 5 max and not more than the price new! the Onesie was also the same price as a a new one!
A lot of things seem to be really overpriced there so I suggest you check prices on your smartphone. I was helped by the manager once and she was really cooperative but on a different day when I asked the store clerk for help to figure out how a baby k’tan worked I was told with an shrug that they were «only a consignment store» before she went back to her facebook update…

Do not sleep on this place!
I never beleived in splurging on a crazy wardrobe for babies, the vast majority of my daughter’s wardrobe is hand-​me-​down or consignment.
Found this place tucked away under Washington Sq Park one afternoon and ducked in. Amazing selection of unique, beautifully made baby clothes for reasonable prices. My daughter is obnoxiously tall and thin so it is near impossible to find pants that fit her lanky behind, I was talking to the older woman there and she turned me on to two different French brands for bony babies, some of which they had in stock brand new… Got her winter wardrobe here and have been back a coupla times since. Only complaint is that the stock on winter coats was a bit slim in certain sizes and I wish they carried more hair accessories… But overall really an amazing find.

A charming, warm outfit that specializes in baby and maternity wear. Such care is taken both in shop-​dressing and selection that Clementine is truly a labor of love — from the free pepperidge farm goldfish snacks and lollipops, to appease toddlers and pregnant women alike, to the cozy ambience and its easy, laid-​back soundtrack. I bought a shirt and three pairs of pants for just under $ 40 — don’t miss out on the $ 5/​$ 10 bins of tops and bottoms, which have a reasonable selection in terms of sizing and may surprise you by being exactly what you’re looking for.
Much besides, the baby wear is just darling — from wellingtons to knitted sweaters and tiny hats, it’s enough to make a grown woman weep.

The clothing is available in size 0 – 4 although they do have some 5T items and has large selection of girls but sadly the boys is not equivalent. The store is sizable and has pretty good selection of children’s shoes.
There seems to be more infant clothing than toddler.
The maternity section is slim and almost seems to be a waste of space.
I would go more regularly if I knew they would have more 4T + sizes. Hopefully they will add more and maybe even expand to children’s natural toys…

Go to Clementine now! I walked out of the store with 2 beautiful dresses, 4 shirts, and a skirt for just over $ 100. !! Now I can be a little more fashionista in my preggers condition…
Also can’t wait to get baby clothes there… really good condition, high end stuff for decent prices.
