I came here late on a Monday night and though they were starting the process of closing up, the woman behind the counter was extremely friendly. She gave us a generous helping of ice cream and toppings, and there was plenty of seating inside to enjoy the final creation. Cold Stone is pretty expensive and the toppings add up pretty quickly, so be aware of that before getting too carried away.

Definitely my favorite cold stone in Midtown it’s a short walk from both Penn Station and Grand Central. The staff is really friendly and will make just about anything you request as long as they have the ingredients. The selections are standard as any other cold stone but this one is not as crowded as the others and has indoor seating which is rare for an ice cream place in midtown. There’s also a Tim Hortons in the location, I never really get anything from Tim’s I really just go here for cold stone. Love they they’re open late as well

Their website and Google state that this location is open until 12:00am. I called today at 10:45pm to verify and the employee told me they were closed! Glad I did not walk there to find that out. I am not sure if it is a case of the website stating the incorrect hours or employees closing the store early– kind of odd that they picked up the phone at 10:45pm to tell me they are closed. Do they close at 10 but answer the phone late? Do they close at 11pm but just did not want any customers coming in b/c they were cleaning up to leave early? Eek! Methinks not… disappointed, Cold Stone!

This location is great. I went to 4 different locations trying to get my sons birthday cake made in ice cream form and they nailed it. Everyone was blown away by the design and the fact that the cake was ice cream since it was perfectly detailed.(see pic added to their profile). They are my new go to location!!!

I was in the area while interning at NYULMC and decided to try the Cold Stone that was nearby. I actually don’t really get the Cold Stone hype. I ended up paying $ 5+ for a small cup of ice cream, almost the same price as Grom’s gelato except I got a little more ice cream here at Cold Stone. However, I must say that the servers at this particular store were very friendly and it was also nice to get to see them make/mix your ice cream for you(they have this frozen board thing where they mix the components of the signature creation that you order. I ended up getting the Birthday Cake Remix because I heard it was one of the more popular signature creations. I thought it was way too sweet… probably because of the brownie and fudge. If I ever go back to Cold Stone I’ll probably try something lighter like the Strawberry Rendezvous instead.

First time trying Cold Stone and I’m pissed that I’ve been holding back for so long. This place is awesome and very clean. The guys behind the counter are super friendly and they will let you sample whatever you like. They also suggest items that might interest you. The ice cream is to die for and very reasonable. Forget Baskin Robbins that’s located across the street, this is my new ice cream place!!!
