Great people but the facilities need a make-over. The biggest draw for this location is the pool above ground and with a sunroof(see pictures). However, the sunroof should probably be cleaned. In addition, I am pretty sure this is not a salt water pool(see other reviews). After speaking with a staff member, I learned that the heater for the pool had broken down during the winter and took a while to fix. Having a heater break down is one thing, but not fixing it promptly is another thing. In addition, the locker rooms and showers need an update. There was rust in some of the showers and in general and both locker rooms and showers look dated, especially in comparison to the pictures for their 10 Hanover location. 5 stars for the pool and the people but 2 stars for the locker room and showers. I did not use the equipment so cannot comment on that.

This is such a great space to work out at. Not your typical Equinox though so many great features; a rooftop salt water pool, great stretching area, cardio machines that are always available, and the best part, a rooftop patio to lounge after your workout. The staff are all so great as well and I highly reccomend this gym if you’re looking!

DONOTCOMEHERE! this gym is a total geriatric ward. took a class here off classpass which was taught by and geared toward the 70 year old women in class — not really what i expected when i signed up for an «intense cardio and barre» class. the locker room and facilities are out of 1985 and completely FILTHY. on top of that one of the cleaning staff YELLED at me for moving a hairdryer so i could plug in my straightener. the only redeeming quality was the sun deck!

Just started a membership at this gym and already loving everything about it! I come all the way to this gym from The Bronx. So that right there should tell ya something! LOL Ive been to Planet Fitness, Lucielle Roberts, Blink fitness and NYSC and this gym tops them all no questions asked! First of all it is very private. Any time of the day you go it is either empty or a few people so you have the whole gym to yourself. Secondly, it has so many amenities. A pool, Sauna, Showers, Plenty of cardio machines and lifting machines, Towels, a Roof top deck, CLASSES! etc! Thirdly, everyone who goes here, goes here to work out and focus on themselves rather than stand around and watch everybody else. You do have to pay around a hundred bucks a month but hey you get what you pay for. Health is Life and the price shouldnt matter when it comes to this. I also love how friendly the staff is. Always happy. Barbara helped me with my membership and was very informative and did not push me into signing anything unlike all those chain gyms! If you want a private gym that is all to yourself and extra cozy go for this!

Great equipment, very spacious and not busy. Would have given it 5 stars if the lockers were not so dirty. I really hope the management sees this review because the lockers smelled disgusting and you could physically see black dirt and crumbs inside them. I opened one after the next to find a clean one but was not successful. Personally I can tolerate a dirty locker if the facility was as outstanding as this one was, others that are more sensitive to something like that may want to avoid this place. Membership is a good value for the money. It’s around 1200 per year and can be paid out monthly.

Nice gym, with a larger pool than most other gyms(NYHRC, Equinox). Some of the equipment looked a little worn. On the fifth floor in a building with an elevator and stairs that are rarely open/available to use. Very close to the Whole Foods on 57 St.

This gym is awesome! Located on the fifth floor of a high-rise building, it has everything you could want: brand new equipment, nice décor, friendly staff, a studio for classes, a pool, a roof deck, sauna, and private showers. The only thing they don’t have is a spin studio, but I think the other amenities make up for it. Plus, it’s cheaper than NYSC(both with corporate discounts). If you live or work in the area, definitely come in and take a look. You’ll be very impressed.

After finally getting in here, I’m glad I did. It really is rare to have a pool, and it’s fairly nice. It was far from crowded. The deck is a great touch. It’s got a slightly aged feel, but there are many new amenities and pieces of equipment and it’s reasonably clean.

The club is small but I like it. The machines are updated. The pool is fairly large and has a stunning view over the skyline of Midtown. The sauna and shower is nice. the best part of this club is that they don’t push you to make a contract. I really recommend this club because they’re not pushy like all the other gyms in Manhattan to sell and that gave me a good feeling.

Complete Body & Spa is an undiscovered jewel of the Upper East — they have a pool, a good selection of classes and really good trainers. I’d recommend it for anyone who wants first class facilities who’s tired of overcrowded, unattentive gyms elsewhere!

The two people who left these reviews probably worked there. Nice looking place but the staff are not very nice. There is a French woman that works here/runs the place that is very rude. There are too many great gyms and classes in NY to go to someplace like this.

This is such a nice gym! Totally private, it’s on the 5th floor of a luxury building. Membership is equal to or cheaper than most other gyms in the area as well. Their pool is gorgeous, machines and equipment are all working and pretty new and the place is NEVER crowded. Def one of Manhattan’s best kept secrets when it comes to gyms. And did I mention the roof deck? Awesome. Great place to lay out, they have it so nicely furnished too! Drop your stupid Crunch and Equinox memberships and go to Complete Body! You pay less and get more!

I’ve been going here for over a month now and still love Complete! I must say that the crowd is older, and I mean much older like 60−70+. But that really doesn’t bother me. I was worried that the classes would be too easy because of the older crowd but they aren’t at all. The instructors are great. I take a spinning class and a class called Body Sculpt both are challenging workouts.

Free towel service, dry sauna, pool with glass retractable roof, and wide open windows all around. Perfect for putting your mind on autopilot and getting your sweat on. Not the largest gym, but seems to cater to a mostly older residential crowd probably due to location, so not too busy during other gym’s classic peak hours. With the recent Groupon expect increased traffic!
