We attended the Dance of Vice Vinietian Masquerade Valentines Ball. It was black tie, victorian or borque theme dress code. Tickets were available online. The place: hidden behind the walls of nyc’s financial district is this gorgeous Victorian mansion. Looks like a movie set with all the gorgeous paintings, crown molding, winding wooden staircase, fabulous lighting & candelabras, wood & marble everywhere, all the gorgeous rooms like the ballroon, reading room with a large fireplace, sunken gathering room with a huge bar and when you first walk in… the gorgeous foryer… decorated with victorian furniture & antiques through out! The party: Everyone looked so nice, people who are serious about a theme! They had bars set up in each room, and a room on the first floor had a huge wooden bar. No waiting for dranksss… cheers! Smooth operation… took us about 10 minutes to check in & coat check. Friendly greeters kept everything moving fast & everyone out of the cold! Bars took only drink tickets, purchase tickets when you check in or next to each bar… mixed drinks were $ 12 each… beer, wine & non alcoholic drinks were cheaper. Entertainment: there was something going on ALL the time… in everyroom… fire dancers, opera singers, performers walking around in amazing costumes, violinist playing to top 40 songs, cello player, dancers & human candle holders. They also had a photo station with a Victorian curtain back drop, printed the photos for you & emailed them… $ 5 bucks! Parking wasn’t a problem. Unisex bathroom… yikes…worked out… bathroom was freakin enormous… weird & fun taking bathroom selfies with my honey! Unforgettable Valentines day… especially since we had the pleasure of seeing ms. veronica varlow in the secret vip room… sssshhhhh…its a secret! Cant wait till the next party… i heard all of them are pretty fabulous!!! Everyone was talking about there Halloween party. Did i say this was an unforgettable night… okay…you get the point! Happy lovers day daaaarling! Xoxo

great venue-victorian mansion. shien lee creates great atmosphere with her team décor and entertainment wise. i am so glad there are events of such caliber, its unique compared to common nightclubs and lounges which im not fond of. ive attended halloween event in 2014. def will attend valentines. crowd there was awesome, and three floors of fun and interesting ideas, costumes, and design. very special place and organizer. def will come back!
