Just back from 2^nd visit to NYU to repair the work done here. Tread with caution: takes calls in the middle of surgery, and then fails to properly close incisions. Was highly recommended by my beloved dentist for periodontal work but I’ve had to since have additional stitches and a cauterization today as a result of his work .
But this could be a bonus if you want to lose weight: after I last saw him, I lost 4 lbs in one week with no effort! Just hundreds of additional med bills, ruined clothing and an unnaturally low red cell count! Enjoy!

Dr. Lippiner was was recommend by my regular dentist. I couldn’t be happier. His very polite, easy to make appointments. My teeth couldn’t be happier.

I have lived in New York City my whole life and have been to many dentists, I am obsessed with taking excellent care of my teeth, I have never had a cavity, so it was very important for me to choose a dentist up to par, and Dr. Lippiner doesn’t disappoint. He is extremely smart, professional, knowledgable, funny, easy to talk to, and does a damn good job.
HIs staff is awesome, they are friendly, and accommodating.
If you are in need of a top notch dentist, this is the place to go to.

I was referred to Dr. Lippiner by my endodontist after a complication with an old root canal had surfaced. I was in a significant amount of pain, had been through some very traumatic dental procedures in the past (thankfully, all under very skillful care) and was exhausted and frightened by the time I was sent to Dr Lippiner. He was calm when I wasn’t, he explained clearly the procedure and what I should expect and when he encountered another complication with my surgery, he woke me up and explained what he needed to do. He did not necessarily have to do that, he could’ve fixed the problem and just billed me for the extra work at the end. The procedure was complicated and painful, although I was only in pain afterwards — not during, which is important. Dr Lippiner is not a warm, fuzzy person — he’s a straight shooter who spent time in the army and is serious about excellent dental work. I never had any problems with reception (the front desk associate was extremely nice to me) and billing was straightforward. I’m not there to make friends, I’m there to have a painful problem taken care of by an expert doctor. That’s all. I was seen promptly, I was not kept waiting and my procedure went well in spite of the complication. Recovery time was long, as the doctor had warned. Don’t know what everyone’s fuss is about — Dr Lippiner was terrific and came highly recommended by another physician who happens to be one of the leading Endodontists in NYC. I’ll take his word on who is good before anyone else’s.

I’m not sure about other people’s experiences but mine has been good. I was in very bad shape after seeing another dentist who didn’t refer me to a periodontist. I spent more than a year trying to find someone when I found Dr. Lippiner. He seemed knowledgeable and that’s what I needed. He’s been straight with me and performed a miracle by treating me and performing multiple surgeries. I’ve never had a problem with the receptionist and wish that I had found him sooner to save me a lot of anxiety and money.

Finally got to talk to the Doctor himself. Of course he will take the receptionist’s side. Ugh. Don’t go to this place– not worth the hassle and aggravation.
