David Momtaheni, DMD

Had two wisdom teeth extracted, one of which was sideways. Both were impacted. Despite the complicated nature of this process, I never needed more than a Motrin to deal with the pain, and even that was done 3 days after getting it pulled. I was dreading the procedure, but frankly Dr. Momtaheni did such a good job, I’m not worried about the other two I still have left to get pulled. Was very comfortable the whole time and Dr. Momtaheni clearly knows his stuff. Will absolutely come back.

Dr. Momtaheni was our third opinion for my son’s medical issue. My son was in pain with many other symptoms including impending permenant damage to his face, teeth, jaw etc. We went to two doctors before getting a recommendation for Dr. Momtaheni.
As soon as we started discussing my son’s condition we both knew this was the most competent doctor for the complicated procedure. But, I also checked him out online and saw his outstanding credentials and experience in the field.
Our visits were thorough, informative and professional. I researched the surgical procedure myself beforehand. Dr. Momtaheni explained everything regarding the procedure with a presentation including clear visual and comprehensive explanations.
We left his office knowing we were in good hands. At the hospital he was with us pre op, and post op. He also came to me in the waiting room to fill me in on how the procedure went and how my son was doing.
I am satisfied and relieved to have found this doctor. I highly recommend Dr. Momtaheni. Get your two or three opinions and then see what Dr. Momtaheni has to say. He is by far the most competent in his field.

I will only say be very careful if he tells you that you need jaw surgery or any surgery for that matter. Make sure you get a second opinion. This man has ruined my life and cost me a couple thousand dollars. I would never recommend him to anyone. I would never trust somebody of his character performing surgery on me. I am not sure who Don K is but due to the five star review I am assuming he may be somebody from Doctor Momtahenis office. I did not go into detail about this Doctor due to the pending investigation. I would like to warn all his current or future patients.

Dr. Momtaheni is a very good dentist. He performed two dental implants in my mouth (where else?) well over ten years ago, and I have never had a problem with them. (My regular dentist, now retired, had referred me to him.)
When the crown (obtained through my regular dentist) over one of the implants repeatedly came loose, I went back to Dr. Momtaheni to see if he might resolve the problem. (My regular dentist, after two attempts to correct the problem, was at his wit’s end over it.) Dr. Momtaheni quickly diagnosed the problem and corrected it within minutes; the crown never came loose again, and that was nearly a decade ago.
Dr. Momtaheni is very direct, conscientious and efficient. A no-​nonsense guy who takes his work and his patients seriously. He was a pioneer in the field of maxillofacial surgery regarding dental implants and is nationally recognized for his contributions to the field.
I can recommend him without reservation.
