I think, that the place was very classy and fancy. Service was smooth going, and the food came right on time. The food was good to me! So in conclusion, I’l definitely go back to this place again!

Yes, it’s overpriced. It’s NYC, Rockefeller Center, and Dean & Deluca. 3 reasons why to expect anything other than overpriced is unrealistic. So, if you come here prepared to spend, you will enjoy the coffee and treats. Oh, and don’t expect service with a smile.

This location is such a disappointment. It’s dingy, disorganized and slow. They were pretty much out of ingredients by 1pm on a work day — prime lunch hour. I will not be revisiting.

I had some pastries and a sandwich all from here at different times. I received a gift card and used it up… the sandwich was a roast beef sand on rye… not very good… it was edible but not for 11.00… the pastries were great… blondie, scone and cookie. the iced coffee was good too… but I wont be returning. not for that kinda money. The actual restaurant is nice and cold inside… but kinda empty every time Ive gone back.

Sorry to say… this annex store took the D&D name down a few notches from my previous 5-Star impression.

Mango Smoothie was pretty delicious but a low value at $ 5. Service was quick and there was plenty of seating at a few minutes after 10 on a Friday morning.

Most atrocious service. 20 minutes in line for an iced tea(there were 2 people in front of me). I went in expecting a dean and deluca, and was sorely disappointed.

Beautiful café, service was good. One star off due to price. I feel that it is overpriced for what you are getting.

Came here to grab lunch with a friend. Should have realized that if a place is empty during lunch time in midtown, something must be wrong. Getting in: — It’s your typical walk in high class deli with a salad, sandwich and prepared small foods area. There is coffee and some breakfast items. Atmosphere: — Sterile and disorganized line up situation — Seating is abundant but not many ppl taking advantage of it Service: — Horrendous. There were 4 people behind the counter who refused to engage with customers. Getting service was a challenge. Then the service came with some attitude — General bad attitude by each employee here Food: — Sandwich area — leaves a lot to be desired — Salads — small and overpriced — Ingredients are high quality — The Chicken pot pie looked good, but I didn’t make a move on it Other: — Do something to get this place back on track. The manager here needs to rethink how things are done and get it together. — I will not be back

Surprisingly reasonably priced for a coffee shop & café located near Rockefeller Center. On a recent visit, my husband and I ordered two large iced coffees and a muffin for about $ 10. The ice coffee was everything I wanted. It was large, strong and refreshing. We split the non-fat berry, yogurt muffin and it wasn’t bad for a fat-free muffin. Our group of 6 was able to sit and chat at a table for over an hour and not feel rushed to leave. The bathroom was kind of gross so I’d avoid again if possible. Overall, I’d return for a coffee and conversation.

tries to implement the clean, upscale dean & deluca image — but this location fails at it pastries look amazing, but my muffin tasted bland and old.

Great lil place to hang out and enjoy a nice cup of coffee and friendly smiles. The manager on duty was friendly and accommodating to me and my party. The place has cleaned up a lot, looks better the last time it visited NYC, about three yrs ago. tcleaner and nicer staff! Good job d&d. Manager on duty was very nice and pretty too.

A solid cup of coffee albeit outrageously overpriced. I give it 3 stars because it occasionally saves me in when I’m in a bind for a solid cup in midtown. Lately I’ve been opting for Gregory’s. Yesterday my wife and I purchased two macaroon cookies(which if you’re familiar are micro), a small muffin and a medium coffee: $ 15! This chain is a bit a of a dressed up turd from back when people were impressed by the term«gourmet».

2STARS for THESTAFF. I am a big fan of Dean & Deluca. The coffee and pasteries are my morning rituals here. This location cries for help in the morning rush. From morning to lunch time, the staff just outright suck! The personalities there are extreme from unfriendly to spacey. They just bring D&D’s reputation down. It’s ridiculous this place never have napkins or they subsititue sheets of paper towelsto patrons. Honestly, this location will not survive once Bouchon Bakery opens around the corner. The price I’m paying for bad service at Dean & Deluca, I’ll take it elsewhere.

This place really downgraded itself ever since moving to another location within the Rockefeller area. I ordered a small coffee and it was really almost the size of a Dixie cup and it was $ 1.50. I could have gotten a decent size at Starbucks with the same amount of $. The coffee was also lukewarm so that was another disappointment. Previously, I raved about their almond croissants but that has changed as well. What happened?

If moderately priced coffees and too-good-to-eat pastries are your calling, this is the place for you! Fortunately, I am one of those people. Dean & Deluca = classier Starbucks. For sure. It’s very nice in here. White and black seems to be the reoccuring theme. My boyfriend and I eat got a bagel with coffee. I love my bagels with loads of cream cheese, and thats what they do. So I loved it. My boyfriend didn’t like it and couldnt finish his bagel because of the fact that there was too much cream cheese. I also bought a bag of their coffee. My dad loved it. I also like this Dean & Deluca because it’s right next to 30 Rock, very convenient, right by the Nintendo Store, and a few minutes from 5th Ave. So after winder shopping and trying to get in the background of the Today Show, this is the perfect spot to grab some coffee and re-energize for some more window shopping.

This review is so overdue considering that I visited NYC during my Spring Break. But I feel obligated to write a review for them because I was left very confused about its popularity after that day I went there. So maybe it was cause of the Easter parade, or maybe it’s just that Manhattan is crowded in general, but hell, I did not expect to go into a coffee shop with around 15 people in the line in front of me. As it was a very busy day for Dean & Deluca, a lot of its food items were sold out, I ordered a roast beef sandwich with clam chowder and a little easter vanilla cupcake. Let me just say very bluntly that the sandwich was bad. It was cold, bland, and it lacked everything that a good sandwich should have. I expected more from you guys. Besides the extremely mediocre sandwich, the dirtiness of the store did not help with how crowded and noisy the store was. There was one worker constantly cleaning up but I guess it was just too big of a mess to be handled by one person. But I found a hint of hopeful gleaming in Dean & Deluca’s cupcakes. I’m a sucker of cupcakes and anything close to being cute, and the Easter cupcake with a little duckling sitting on top was like the epitome of my weak spot. The cupcake rescued all of the negative thoughts I had about Dean & Deluca. Just by starring at those little eyes of the duckling(entirely made of frosting) made me a very happy girl. And when I finally had to courage to destroy the grass that the duck was sitting on, I was so glad that the cake itself was light and moist. I tried cupcakes from Magnolia a couple days before I went to Dean & Deluca, and I personally like the latter one better. Dean & Deluca should thank whoever that came up with the idea of creating cute Easter cupcakes, cause it would have been a solid 2 stars on this reviews without it.

Cute spot to take a break across the street from Rockefeller center. Cost to worth it rating: 4 Return worthiness: yes Eve award: best peanut butter frosting Highlights: — Friendly staff: man behind the counter was smiling and joking with customers – he made just an everyday chain coffee shop personable — Peanut butter chocolate cupcake: best frosting ever for me! Not to sweet, very light, but still packing in the peanut butteryness. Small size that’s good for a non-sweet toother like me — Upstairs seating: fun being able to observe the scene of people parading through and staff going through motions from above — TV association: takes me back to the Felicity days ;-) — Soy milk: they didn’t note it on the menu, but they had it Lowlights: — Not much for ambiance as more of a basic empty spot with some tables and chairs Met my needs of just a place to chill for a few minutes and planning my next destination. I’d come back for that frosting and the warm welcoming service.
