As a previous reviewer also mentioned, their fruit is spoiled. Had a cup of honeydew delivered that was from god knows when. Certainly not accidental, as the sell-by date and expiration date were conveniently scratched off.

disagree on the Good Nature recommendation. They over charge and their cold storage is terrible. Milk goes off well before expiration. Switched to Deliteria and haven’t looked back.

I used to get deliveries from here, because they’re open 24 hrs and general stock like fruit, yogurt, beverages, and bagels. I soon learned that their cut fruit could be spoiled and if you reach the wrong party at the store, he’ll claim that the owner isn’t there or that the owner doesnt allow deliveries if you’ve received spoiled fruit. Funny, you would think that the store owner would want to know if any of the cut fruit is spoiled and can risk giving his customers food poisoning. Perhaps it’s more impt to the store mgmt to not discard anything and hope that the customer will simply throw it out, not notice, or not say anything. You would think that informing the store to watch the cut fruit like mango and watermelon to assure that it isn’t spoiled is the responsible and considerate thing to do if you’ve ever had a negative experience. Unfortunately, their mgmt would rather place the customer on the defensive and have him think he’s complaining versus bringing a matter to the attn of the store’s mgmt. as a matter of good conscience. Order INSTEAD from: GOODNATUREDELI at 10452AVENUE crnr E 55 St. Tel 212−371−7507 The employees and mgmt are always friendly, offer similar, but better stock in the same price range via telephone, or online via , and aim to please with a smile!!! If there’s a problem with anything, the mgmt wants to know right away so they can fix it and make it right. That’s what I call service and what I’ve come to expect when giving my business to a merchant on a regular basis. RE Good Nature Deli Big +: Deli offers a huge array of fresh squeezed juices and yummy smoothies. all natural and made on the spot; not organic, but it’s a 24HR store with 24HR delivery, 365 days/yr so it’s a good bet when you need a fix at any hr at a convenient Midtown 50s location. Thank you, Good Nature. The staff is good-natured! I will add that it would be a big + if you’d add organic or locally grown fruit/produce as available options to the fresh produce, fresh squeezed juices and smoothies. IF you’re ordering a delivery via phone definitely make it Good Nature. If in person, staff at Good Nature is always friendly, but the staff at Deliteria is usually solid for in-person, but there was one Mexican guy who gave me a dirty look for opening a tray of pomegranate seeds to nibble a bit before re-sealing it. I had a long day, hadn’t eaten and the point of purchasing a $ 5 tray for half the seeds of a $ 1 pomegranate was to be able to consume it immediately and enjoy it’s nutrients. The nasty look was unnecessary and uncalled for. This being said, the Caribbean guy on staff always offers service with a smile.

For anyone working in Midtown East, I present you with the most affordable breakfast sandwich in all of Manhattan. $ 2.50 gets you a 3 eggs, choice of any cheese, salt, pepper, and ketchup on a roll. For lunch? Large hero’s ranging from 5.50(chicken salad) to 7.50(best corned beef sandwich in the area). Great price for huge sandwiches that I split with co-workers for a great lunch. Who knew that behind such a plain awning and virtually impassable convenience store aisles was such a good deli!
