Honestly the best vintage store I’ve ever encountered. I’ve been to a lot on both coasts, and I almost don’t want to clue everyone in on this one. She’s got a fantastic eye, the place has a great vibe and you’ll find incredible stuff no matter when you go. But I’m going tomorrow, so choose another day! :)

I love this jewel of a store and its owner. Each item is more exquisite than the next. I purchased a gorgeous, silver sequined cocktail dress that seemed like something Marilyn Monroe would have worn. It is easy to have a nice rapport with the owner Carmen. She was candid and honest is her assessment of what worked for me and what didn’t. Being in the store was like looking at a prized collection of specially curated clothing of the highest quality. I will certainly be a regular visitor every time I go to NYC.

There are a bevy of vintage stores tucked around the East Village, however, Devorado manages to outshine them all with its carefully curated collection. It is clear that the owner is extremely knowledgable and passionate about every piece that is displayed in the store. Most of the pieces have a story behind them and only well-​made, unique garments are sold here. The owner was extremely helpful and honest. I have bought several one-​of-​a-​kind items here and hear nothing but praise every time I step out the door wearing one of them. The prices are reasonable for the product you are getting. I love everything I have bought from Devorado and view each piece as something I will want to pass down to my own daughter one day. Rest assured that you will not be disappointed by this store, especially if you have any knowledge about high-​end vintage clothes– it is truly a treat to shop there.
