New food obsession at Hudson Eats. If you get their app, you get a $ 5 credit and for every $ 99 you spend, you get $ 9. A pretty good well-balanced assortment of foods that you can go and wait in line(and boy does the line get long here) or just order online/app for pickup. I do the latter and am always pleased with the results. From order, takes about 15min before it’s ready for pickup. My go-to is the salmon(love it, so delicious), avocado, and the kale salad with grapes and avocado. With tax it’s about $ 11 total if you get the smaller plate which is very filling(large plate is $ 14). I always request the C-Sauce(still trying to figure out what it is ha) which has a garlic-like taste as usually the fish is served with pesto which I don’t like as much. The portions are really good for lunch, very healthy compared to alternative options, and it’s just super tasty! I always order food from here. Definitely recommend checking out.

Dig Inn is a hearty lunch that doesn’t make you feel bad about yourself. Pick a grain, a protein, 2 sides and voila a complete meal. There are some things they do really well; I love that they have farro on the menu, if you haven’t had it, try it; the chicken is delicious, so moist and flavorful and the sweet potatoes are always roasted perfectly. Then there are some things that need some more attention. The salmon 99% of the time is over cooked — they leave the skin on and therefore turns into a soggy mess. The sauteed greens are wonderful, but more times than not they are over-salted and basically inedible which is a major disappointed. Despite some of their flaws you can find a good meal here.

Great food. I was surprised by the quality of food considering they are in a food court(but no big name chain restaurants in the food court at all). The food was tasty and healthy!

This place has me craving Brussel sprouts! They create healthy, delicious and fast food that everyone can enjoy. My favorite is the brown rice, Brussel sprouts, sweet potatoes and tofu. Getting hungry just writing this review! Definitely the place to go if you want fresh, local produce and need something for a meat-eater and vegan person. Enjoy!

This place is my go to lunch spot at Hudson Eats. I like to forgo the protein option and order the veggie – comes with 3 sides(technically 2 sides with one«main» that’s a little larger in portion) and it’s a little cheaper. The farro and brussel sprouts are my favorites! The line gets long during the lunch rush but moves pretty fast.

Dig Inn is a hearty yet healthy lunch option. Though the line can get quite long between noon and 2PM, if you arrive at just the right time, you can get through it fairly quickly. I’ve tried a couple of the protein options including salmon and meatballs. Both were well prepared and tasted very good. I’ve also tried a couple of the sides including the braised kale, mac & cheese, and kale, apple, and blue cheese salad. All were really good, and provided a lot of flavor without a ton of oil or or fat. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you find yourself at Hudson Eats.

Quality stuff. I eat here to feel better about myself. Not only that, my mouth, stomach and body feels good about itself too. I really enjoy Dig Inn’s variety and commitment to good ingredients, so much so that this is the first place I recommend for lunch to new hires at work. There’s something for just about everyone at Dig Inn, from carnivores to vegans, and everything in between. My go-to meal is the charred chicken over brown rice with roasted kale, cauliflower with capers, Brussels sprouts, or sometimes their harvest mac & cheese if I’m feeling good. They have a great variety of cold and hot sides, so you can always mix it up. They used to have a sandwich line, but I think they may have given up on it, as it’s no longer there. Probably for the better anyways, as the sandwich I had was only okay. I very much preferred their plates. Service is always pretty friendly and quick, probably just about as quick as Dos Toros across the Hall, but since the lines are probably twice as long, you may have to wait a bit to get to the counter. Also, since everything hot is made to order, it can take an extra 5 minutes to get the item you want, so make sure to factor that into your wait. Prices are very competitive with the rest of the food court, as you can get a plate of veggies, meat, and sides for about $ 9 – 12 total. Again, it is a little much for lunch, but the ingredients are legit better here, so I would say it’s worth it. I don’t come here everyday, but when I’m feeling something healthier without sacrificing taste, Dig Inn is easily my go-to spot for a satisfying lunch.

Very overpriced food court food. Paid $ 21 for a juice, some brussels sprouts, scoop of mac cheese and chicken over rice. Don’t get me wrong, everything was pretty good but come on. I guess trying to eat«healthy» comes at a hefty price.

I love dig inn! Its located inside brookfield place(hudson eats). This is one of my favorite food in there. Theirs lots of choices inside hudson eats but I always go back to dig inn. They have this small or large plate with a 3 divider & you can pick what protein & sides you want. Most of the time I get the meat balls or chicken with brown rice and a side of mac & cheese and some salad. They have lots of salad choices. I like the brussel sprouts but as I say they have different kinds of salad or vegestables that you can pick.

I just visited today during lunch at 12:30 pm to the Dig Inn Seasonal Market located at 225 Liberty Street at the Hudson Eats Food Court located at Brookfield Place in NYC. I always enjoy the taste of the food at Dig Inn so that is not the issue. #1 I paid extra for the large portion and it doesn’t seem right to use the same sized box for the large portion as the small portion. In my eyes, how much larger is the large portion than the small portion if the box holding the different portions is the same sized box? I didn’t feel as if the side portions were any larger. In matter of fact, I felt they were chintzy with my sides. I tried to tell the counter person but she was arguing with me. I am paying more money for the bigger portion and sorry but the person filling the box left gaps in the lentils. The lentils were not even filling the area of the box it was in. It was not even reaching the top of the section. I could not hear what the person was saying behind the huge counter. First of all the person is not projecting their voice at all and when I said I could not hear her, she just rolled her eyes at me. I am paying almost $ 12 for food. I think I deserve at least service without eye rolling. I saw the person filling my box up with the steak chintz on the portion too. I saw her the last time she was pulling the meat onto my plate with the tongs. I told her she didn’t even have anything in the tong grip, it was empty. She gave me the standard reply of that is the portion. HELLO, why did you try to dish meat with the tongs but have nothing on the tongs? I never got a direct reply about that incident. She was grabbing the meat and missed and she didn’t even look at what she is doing nor did she acknowledge my complaint. #2 another reason why I am writing is, how can this location at about 12:30 pm, prime lunch time, run out of roasted kale? I had to wait quite a while for the roasted kale. The location should have enough for the lunch crowd. I received no apology for the food running out. It is unacceptable to run out of a popular side at 12:30 pm! #3 when I had to pay, first off the cashier didn’t tell me my total. The cashier had her hand out for the payment but without telling me the amount. What kind of establishment is this? She finally told me my total was $ 11.25 but I just checked my credit card statement online, I have a $ 13 charge pending on my credit card. How did that happen? Did the employee skim my card for tips? Did she charge me extra to get some tips? I would not have tipped on the service I received today. I also didn’t get a receipt for my purchase. I was under the impression that when she told me my total of $ 11.25 that this is the amount she is charging onto my credit card. Did she not give me my receipt because she is hiding the amount she charged? I would like to have an answer to why she told my total is $ 11.25 but I see a $ 13 charge on my card now. I used to work in foodservice for over 20 years so I know what tricks there are to chintz on portions. One thing is I have never told someone a different total than what I charged on their credit card. That behavior is unacceptable.

I think Dig Inn is one of the best places in Hudson Eats. Go there after the lunch rush, or even before the lunch rush, but not during the lunch rush. During the lunch rush, it is like you are at a ball park or a concert. The chicken was good as was the mango spinach. Hudson Eats is a really cool place to have lunch in general.

This may be a premature review. I came here once in a huge rush to get somewhere within the half hour. That means I had 15 minutes to eat, tops. For some reason, my eyes are programmed to light up every time I see«salmon» on a menu. I had the sixth sense that the«grilled wild Alaskan salmon,» as awesome as it sounded, would fall short. Maybe it’s because I’ve acculturated my taste buds to the Japanese way of doing salmon(e.g. tender and raw or miso-marinated) that any type of grilled salmon tastes awfully dry. This was precisely the case. Dig Inn’s grilled salmon was a brick. The best thing about it was the pesto sauce on top. I thought the roasted cauliflower tasted good, and the spinach was – well, spinach. I have heard from one who frequents this place that the chicken and steak are better options. I think they do a great job of moving the lunch queue, which can appear overwhelming at first glance. But if you can scarf down your food, this is as quick and clean as most non-salad meals get. $ 11 for the small plate with salmon and brown rice – not bad.

This is the best bang for your buck in Hudson eats if your looking to grab lunch. Everything here is made fresh because of the high volume, I usually get the chicken with spring greens and another side. All the staff who work here are very nice also. There’s one guy named Shawn who is very funny and likes to make jokes and it makes to the whole assemble line of getting food fun. In short Great food and price for the location!

I came here for the first time for lunch last weekend. Once you get the hang of the ordering system, the end result is great! It was nice to pick up something a bit healthier than your typical quick bite to eat. I had the meatballs with brown rice, sprouts and broccoli. It was really tasty, but the sprouts were extremely garlicky(and I like my garlic, so it’s saying something). I got the large portion, but it was a bit too big for me, I think I’d go for the regular next time. They do an array of options, a few meat options, a grain/carbs option and different veggie side dishes. I would advise having a look at the options before joining the line, as the ordering system is quite quick.

Don’t let the long lunch-time-rush line dissuade you from trying this place because it moves very quickly! I’ve stood in a line 3 rows long and was out of there in 8 minutes. You can order a small or big serving(big simply is double servings but a small already has a lot) which comes with two sides. Charred Chicken vs. Meatballs? Go with the chicken, I didn’t think you could mess up meatballs, but they were tasteless! The sauce added just a tad more flavor. The charred chicken is what keeps me coming back — along with their sides! As per sides, I’ve had the Kale, Avocado(extra cost), Brussels Sprouts and, Sweet Potatoes; they were all so fresh, so flavorful, and so good! I’d opt for just ordering a side for those who want a lighter meal. Dig Inn definitely has flavorful and healthy options to dig into ^_~

Dig Inn is definitely doing something right. The line moves quickly, the servers are helpful, and the dishes and sides are wonderfully varied. The small plate is enough for a lunch or light appetite. I’ll usually order a big plate and save half for lunch the next day if I’m not starving. I love their roasted beets, sweet potatoes, brussels sprouts and kale & apple salad. I really haven’t had a side I didn’t like yet. There’s not much more I can say about this location that hasn’t already been said. it’s an awesome option in Brookfield Place!

Quite a nice alternative eatery compare to the usual tacos and burger places. Catered more to the healthy conscious crowd I was glad they have a good offering of hot side dishes as I’m not much of a cold salad fan. The two sides I got was really quite delicious especially the sweet potatoes I can probably have a meal of that on its own :) The meatballs were bit disappointing as I felt it was kind of bland meatballs drenched in spicy sauces, I guess proteins would be on their weaker side of offering. I would definitely give the charred chicken a try next time when I’m visiting Hudson Eats. But the sides were so good that I had to really give it 4 stars overall. Portion-wise is decent for the price. I think $ 8 small plate is about adequate to hold me for lunch but for dinner definitely want to go with the larger plate. Glad I was able to give this place a try as it was quite a pleasant surprise.

Come here for healthiness This was my first exposure to Dig Inn and their value proposition really resonates with me: fresh, tasty food at reasonable prices. What’s not to love? The vegetables are well made and varied for a wide range of tastes. I like cooked green stuff and they passed that test. The quinoa was a welcome change. The meatballs were where things fell apart. The sauce tastes good. The meatballs themselves are bland. I had a bite of the charred chicken and that was much better than the meatballs, so there’s enough reason to come back.

Can’t stop coming here! Even with all the choices in Brookfield now, this place is the perfect healthier choice and has a great variety of food. The line is usually seemingly long, but it moves like clock work, never waited longer then 5 to 10 minutes even at the peak. You get a choice of grain, protein, and two sides here, so basically a bit of everything. Food: — I usually never get chicken at places but their chicken is a must, perfectly seasoned and moist. –The steak is always a perfect medium rare, with some sea salt i could eat it all day –The salmon is delicious and moist, haven’t had a bad piece yet –The meatballs are good but i never get them because with the small you only get two, i’m a growing boy i need more then that for lunch the sides: –The chick peas with capers and cauliflower is another must, fresh and unique flavors. –The kale here is great too, soft and lemony. –I love all of their cold sides even more then the hot ones so you can’t go wrong with any of their sides –Sandwhiches here are amazing, the cluk and kale is perfect, crispy hero, roasted chicken, sweet potato, kale salad with cheese, this is a must The Punchline: You really can’t go wrong with anything here, healthy, good variety, delicious The perfect lunch spot, in ever way.
