I have taken both the Dance and Sweat and the Beyonce Series classes, and I prefer the Beyonce Series. All the classes are super fun. Because you are learning dances, I would say that that the workout itself is pretty easy (and the dance isn’t very technical), but it is very fun.
The NoHo location can also be a bit cramped if there are a lot of students. But overall, I would recommend it if you are looking for something fun to do. All the instructors are great and super motivating.
It is also on Class Pass which is great.

Jami is the greatest dance instructor ever! She is full of energy & sass and makes dancing super fun & desirable for people with 0 dance experience AND… feel great about themselves while also getting a great sexy workout! Jami helped me with a DREAM COME TRUE for my bachelorette/​28th birthday. She choreographed & directed a dance music video to TIMBER by Ke$ha for me and a bunch of my girlfriends:

My girls had a blast during the practice dance classes (which totally didn’t seem like class). It just felt like an awesome dance party with great music & hott moves.
I would definitely recommend a booking a dance party with Jami. She knows exactly how to help you let loose, look & feel great!

My friend and I were looking for a fun dance class that would also be a good workout. We found this at Diva Dance. We both have taken the Beyonce Series classes as well as the Dance and Sweat with Jami and both classes are great! The Beyonce classes are sexy and fun and I like that we learn one dance routine to a different Beyonce song each week. Jami’s personality and style in the class is awesome and makes it so much fun. The Dance and Sweat classes are a bit more fast paced because you learn one dance routine and dance it to different songs with varying tempos. I always look forward to my Tuesday nights because of the classes at Diva Dance!

I booked a bachelorette party for my sister here. I booked the event through Jami, who was super helpful. She was very prompt and informative.
Our instructor was Molly and she was absolutely amazing!!! We all loved the song she picked (kiss by prince) and the routine!!! She made all of us feel so comfortable and sexy!!! We all were feeling very sexy after!!! She had great energy! We didn’t want it to end!
I would definitely be recommending this studio and Molly!!! Can’t wait to go back!

Jami is one of the one dance instructors who has ever been able to teach me choreography. I’m usually so lost in dance classes, but Diva Dance’s environment of having fun and learning some excellent routines along the way works for me. A great workout (I’m normally sore in places I didn’t know were able to be sore after class) and a fun time.

I planned a private bachelorette party for my sister through Diva Dance — we had an absolute blast! The instructor was incredibly nice and helpful, and the dance routine had us all laughing and putting in our best effort (a few of the girls — including the bride — even did the dance at the wedding!) I would highly recommend them for anyone looking to get a fun dance lesson in NYC (just be prepared to sweat!)

My friend booked a 1 hr dance class for our friend’s bachelorette weekend.** Not gonna lie — we threw multiple side eyes at the glowing reviews for this place and Jami. They just hadddd to be fake right? Welp WRONG! This place is every bit as amazing as the reviews said.
In 45 minutes (#teamlate oops) Jami taught us some serious moves for Kelly Rowland’s «Motivation.» She promised we were gonna get down and dirrrty and she wasn’t playing.
As a fat girl I’m always curious (skeptical?) about places that say they are good for «everybody» but I’ll be darned if Jami didn’t have me flipped over a folding chair with my legs in the air. A+ for body positivity!
I LOVE this place and guarantee that I will be back for every special or not so special occasion in my life.

We had a great time with Jami teaching us Rihanna’s «We Found Love» for my friend’s Bachelorette Party this past weekend. She is so energetic and made all of us «non-​dancers» feel really comfortable and have a great time! We weren’t sure what to expect, but came out with smiles on our face. She even improvised and added some chair moves into the routine which was fun! She is GREAT and I would highly recommend booking a party through her.

Diva Dance is pretty cool. I bought I deal from Groupon for a session, which is 4 classes, one a week. Over the 4 four weeks you learn one dance that you perform on the last day. You have to be quick with the scheduling becuase they fill up fast. I did not find it very tiring but it sure was a lot of fun!

Had a great time here learning the dance to Thriller!
We planned a surprise birthday party for my friend’s 30th there. After another friend discovered them for their regular music video dance classes, I decided to check out the private parties. The team was super-​responsive and accommodating.
The class started and ended on time and they took lots of pics and videos. We chose the Premium package so the champagne and cupcakes made it more fun!
Definitely worth it and a very unique time. Jami was very energetic and a good fit for us all.

I planned my BFFs bachelorette party weekend in NYC and learned of DivaDance literally one week before we headed out. Jami was great to work with in setting our session up and Sarah was the one to work out the final details prior to our session. They were both so accommodating and allowed us to use a studio near our hotel to cut back on commute time. We got there and were treated to cupcakes, bubbly, and an awesome, fun dance routine to Pour Some Sugar on Me. Our instructor, Elizabeth, was fun and easy to follow. This was by far one of the highlights of the entire weekend! Thanks ladies!

I first met Jami at a bachelorette party for a friend. I loved her personality and her willingness to just let go. I had taken 10 years of dance lessons as a little girl and dreaded it because I wasn’t «delicate» enough or the right size. I signed up for several of her classes and a workshop, and began to let loose. I loved every minute of it, and although I can’t return due to scheduling conflicts, I always keep my eyes open for a workshop when I can rejoin the sexiness and fun that is DivaDance

I used lived in NY, and can say without a doubt DivaDance was a highlight of mytime there!
I took the strip and hip hop classes and had a blast! As a self-​proclaimed «good girl» or «prude» the strip class had me feeling sexy and confident in no time! I also loved the exercise and fun of the upbeat hip hop class. Jami always uses the best music and her teaching style is easy to follow.
I would highly recommend these classes to gals wanting to spice up a bachelorette party or just for a fun way to meet other women who enjoy dancing and don’t take themselves too seriously. There are women of all sizes, shapes and dance experience.
Their (optional) recitals are also so much fun. Many boyfriends/​husbands, family and friends show up and you feel like a star!
