This location could have a better selection but it’s got more than the location on 3^rd avenue for sure.
This location gets my 5 stars for their pharmacy staff which has always been very helpful!

While this is pretty much your average Duane Reade in terms of selection, it is NOT your average Duane Reade in terms of prices. Because it’s up on the UES, it’s way more expensive. $ 18 for a box of ten condoms? What am I? Hugh Hefner? Geeeeez. So I would recommend trying to go to another pharmacy that isn’t located in this area.
In addition, the pharmacy every time I have been has had a very long line which is a pain and the store for whatever reason seems to attract crazies… Even on the UES, I suppose! Overall, just go across the street to CVS. Much better.

I popped in here after yoga one night to grab a couple of items and they didn’t have any of the items I was looking for… coconut water, Gatorade or smart water! None of these are odd items… almost every drug store I’ve been to in the city carries these. Even the DR on 3^rd and 85^th, about 1 block away carries these items!
The store itself is not laid out well, as the «food» section was isolated from the rest of the store by the cash registers.
I will not make the mistake of going back here, especially when a CVS with friendly staff is next door.
