Not a real Dunkin donuts! Won’t accept DD Perks or accept the app /​gift cards — run by NYU.

this is the slowest dunkin’ around. it’s the only dunkin’ i consistently walk out of in annoyance because there is a line ten deep and no progress going on up front. it’s really weird. maybe there’s like a carbon monoxide leak in there which is affecting the brain functioning of the employees. it’s really noticeably worse than their sister spots in the surrounding areas. avoid if possible.

The workers there are very uneducated and unprofessional. How do you have a personal conversation when taking orders (if they choose to take orders) about the previous customer that left? my cream cheese bagel was barely toasted. If you are a worker there and are reading this… working near nyu will be the closest you’ll ever be to success.

Food is ok, I mean it taste like ever other dunkin. The service is meh. They always forget my hashbrowns with my combo, and today the women yelled at the customers, «yall need to stand in line how am i suppose to know what you have.» instead of reading her screen which i could clearly read from the other side of the room that displays the order. she instead was asking people what they had. I could have had her make something more expensive at the lower price point of the food i actually ordered. –_–

This place sucks and so does NYU!
How dare you call yourself a Dunkin Doughnuts when you can ignore all DD promos just because you happen to be in NYU?! TAKE THE DAMN SIGN DOWN AND DONT TAKE THE PUBLIC’S DOLLARS!
I couple of months back I went in there (like I have many times before) this time I had a coupon. I had used several of these coupons at other DD all over the city the week prior… none of them gave me a problem BUT THIS ONE.
They said that they DO NOT HONOR «ANY» DD COUPONS OR PROMOS! Wtf?! How can you call yourselves Dunkin Doughnuts then… I hope the heads of the franchise see this!
I fired off an email explaining the situation and I got a response back via email and got the phone number of someone to call regarding the matter. (I thought they were going to try to rectify this situation). Instead I call the number and its the idiot manager of that location. She attempts to explain that why they are Dunkin Doughnuts, because they are part of NYU they do not have to honor any coupons from DD. WHAT?! I she was obviously not going to back off from that position so I then suggested WHY DONT YOU HAVE A SIGN POSTED THAT SAYS THAT? I MEAN I JUST WONT GO IN THERE KNOWNING THAT. So she says well there is a sign on the door that says «NYU»
WHAT IS THAT SUPPOSED TO MEAN?! Its not like they only take money from NYU students and that says nothing about accepting coupons.
IF YOU ARE NOT AN NYU STUDENT, DO NOT GO THERE… THEY DONT WANT YOUR BUSINESS, PERIOD.

Only 3 associates behind the counter. Very slow moving line. Waited 25 min in line. When I got to the counter, it took another 10 minutes to finish my order– Box of Jo, 2 doz donuts and 25 munchkins. The workers seemed overworked and undermanned. My server was eating munchkins while filling my order.
I do not understand how they can let this happen to a high volume store…
In regards to credit cards, DD ask for an ID every time I use a credit card in the city. I can buy a laptop for 2k at electronics stores without showing ID but need my ID for DD. I guess the first thing people do when they steal a credit card is to run to Dunkin Donuts to buy coffee and donuts.

Third time is still not a charm. I gave it three chances before I wrote this review but enough is enough. During the three times I’ve been here, they have been out of the following foods: plain bagel, everything bagel, bread, all of the coolattas, croissant, their weird tasting ice tea, caramel, french rolls, all types of protein except eggs and sausage, and ALL donuts. Seriously? How can you even let that happen? Even if this is a busy location, you should account for that and stock accordingly.
And to top it all off, you’ll have to wait 20 minutes through their slow service to even find out they don’t have that bagel you’ve been craving all day.
They also have no organization whatsoever. Sometimes they call your number, sometimes they read out your order. One time they even had us all reordering when we got down there… even though the order screen was clearly working. It’s absolutely ridiculous.
Verdict: Avoid. Unless you’re being forced to eat there because of NYU Dining Dollars.

Never order an espresso drink from this dunkin donuts. Service is pretty poor.

This particular spot gets super busy in the morning due to its location as part of an NYU dorm and right in the middle of Union Square. They often run out of food and get backed up on orders. I usually only stop in here if the line is short.
Their seasonal pumpkin offerings are decent– I particularly love their pumpkin donuts, but their pumpkin mocha latte has nothing on Starbuck’s Pumpkin Spice latte in my opinion. I find DD’s drinks way too sugary for my tastes.
I do like their hash browns and their cheesy bagel twists for a quick and easy breakfast.

Food and Drink are fine, usual D&D quality, but it’s part of a NYU Residence and right by the M14 A&D buses so it can be very busy and the lines get long. Less busy and crowded D&D a block or so east.

The food is essentially the same as any other Dunkin Donuts. They sometimes seem to run out of certain ingredients for their sandwiches. Upside: since it’s technically part of NYU (it’s still open to the public), students can use their meal plans here. Downside: no seating. Instead, there’s a counter for standing, even though they could easily fit a few real seats and tables. It’s fine if you’re on the go, bad if you’re not, but if the weather is good and you’re okay with it you can easily sit and eat at Union Square.

Fine sandwich for lunch. Not seat at all. Have to eat standing.

The staff here are not university students. It’s considered an NYU dining place and is therefore staffed by Aramark employees. I have never encountered such rude and careless service in my life. Avoid this Dunkin at all costs.

I came here one time when I was helping my daughter move out of her dorm at NYU. We decided to treat ourselves to a donut after all our hard work and it felt really nice. We tried to ignore the hustle and bustle of the city just for a minute and enjoy our sweet treats.

This Dunkin Donuts sits in New York University’s property of University Hall where students flock to donuts galore as a meal. On a early Sunday afternoon where a good friend and I flock to following church service. The line was choatic and service was unattentive as the staff are university students employed struggling to make ends.
