Perhaps given the location, this branch doesn’t warrant the same attention as other locales. If that is the case, it would do best to either close or become something else. Went in with a friend on an extremely hot evening and the one staff member didn’t even acknowledge our presence. The store seemed dirty with barely any air conditioning. The ice cream was either soupy or had melted and refroze. It was UGH! We were waiting by the ice cream counter for the server to finish with a famly ordering shakes and when 3 other people came in, he started to help them. We said that we were next and he told us to «just wait». So, we «just left».
Bring back the Popeyes!

This is the most disgusting place ever. Went in on a 90 degree day and there was no air conditioning. Mice were all over and the ice cream looked like it had been melted and frozen over several times. The clerk didn’t even take our order before 3 other customers came in after us. I will be reporting to the board of health.

This place only serves its purpose if you really want a quick and easy coffee, or ice cream.
The service here is cannot even be called service here. I can there the other night with two friends with the idea of getting ice cream in mind. There was one guy working there, but he was on his cellphone the whole time. We asked politely if we could try a few flavors because we were not familiar with any of the new flavors. He barely gave us any ice cream on the tiny sample spoons, we couldn’t even tell what the flavors tasted like. He also gave us attitude for trying a couple flavors each, he said «Are you only going to try and that’s it?»
Did I mention the whole time he did not get off his cell phone? Cell phone, not store phone. When we ordered, I ended up getting a cone. He did not have gloves on and didn’t know how to touch the ice cream cone, so he wiped his free hand on his apron, keep in mind his other hand is still holding the phone to his face. He then takes a kitchen paper towel, not even napkin, and uses it to put the cone on the counter and tries pushing it around so he can grab a hold of it with the paper towel.
Each time I tell him which flavor I want to get a scoop of, he asks me to repeat myself twice or three times because he isn’t listening because he is still on the phone. I end up getting three scoops, to which he asks me «you’re getting three scoops??» This doesn’t make sense because at first he was complaining about me trying flavors and then complaiing that I am actually spending money there.
The place is very dingy and does not have a friendly or clean atmosphere. There are a few seats by the window but they are occupied by people who are loitering. Not a welcoming place. Also, the guy who «accomodated» us, his name is Akhter A. So, of you have any problems there also, it is most likely the same guy.
