They have most amazing both savory and sweet crepes I’ve ever tasted in my life. Bravo Eight Turn!

Japanese crepes outside of japan! Had the matcha chocolate crêpe which came with more toppings than any place in Harajuku in Tokyo, but I felt like the chocolate overpowered the matcha which was very very good.

I have fond memories of the savory Chicken Teriyaki crêpe with avocado. It didn’t really taste like typical chicken teriyaki but it satisfied my hunger. The avocado was a nice touch, however it cost extra making the meal less than economical. The next time I tried the sweet Harajuku Fruit Cocktail and I found it to be a lackluster experience, skimpy and borderline bland. Perhaps I was hungry the first time or maybe their savory crepes are just better than their sweet ones.

This place has been on my radar for some years now and I finally paid a visit. Now I can’t stop thinking about the crêpe I had this afternoon. I ordered the strawberry banana, which comes with strawberries, bananas, whipped yogurt, custard cream, and sliced almonds. I added a scoop of vanilla cream, although for $ 2.50, that was a frivolous addition. I only have good things to say about the crêpe: it was light, fresh, and yummy. You can see every step of the process from the hot plate and into the cone. I recommend coming hungry because the portion size is hefty and I was close to not being able to finish mine. Be prepared to have to take your crêpe to go because the store is tiny and has enough seating for about six people. When I went in at 3:30pm on a Wednesday afternoon, it was full, but I was able to grab a seat just as a couple was leaving. People will rotate in and out about every 15 minutes or so. Eight Turn Crêpe offers both savory and sweet crêpe varieties. The BLT seems to be a popular option, so I know what I’ll be trying next.

I was in the area and was waiting for my boyfriend to pick me up since it was pouring outside. I happened to remember there was a crêpe place around the area and decided to stop by to wait for my boyfriend. This time around, I ordered the Harajuku Fruit Cocktail. YUMMS! It had strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, mango, bananas, whipped yogurt, custard cream, and almonds. They had all the fruits I liked in one crêpe! How awesome: D As I expected, the crêpe was amazing! When I took my fruit bite, the crêpe was still crunchy! Although it did get softer as I was eating the crêpe. that did not bother me because the crêpe was so great. I couldn’t finish the entire crêpe so I saved the rest for my boyfriend. I will definitely come back again and try the other choices ;)

You don’t expect much from the look of the storefront, but don’t hesitate to enter, for you will b missing out on some good dessert. Finally got to try their delicious and light crêpe with the green tea ice cream. Wow, it was so delicious that my kids asked, well screamed for more crêpe. Luckily it was one their slow nights that i was able to get more. Tried the matcha and the azuki berry crêpe. Both equally delicious and flavorful, but matcha stands out better… kids being my little judge n critique. We’ll b back for more, as long as there isn’t a long wait

I visited this place around early January 2015. I read reviews about it and the crepes looked so unique and delicious! There are a variety of crepes to choose from, ranging from savory to sweet. I chose the Matcha Stripe Chocolate. It was so difficult for me to choose out of all the flavors they had, but I was satisfied with it in the end! There was also the option to add any toppings such as ice cream or Pocky for an additional cost. The service was pretty good, it wasn’t a crazy wait or anything. The place was cramped and packed, which made the experience less comfortable for me. There were only about 4 stools to sit on and it was hard to move around, which is why I’m giving it 4 stars. I got to watch them make the crepes, which was a bonus and very enjoyable for me! Hopefully I’ll go back in the summer.

Eight turn crêpe is heaven on earth, wrapped up and made into a hand held treat for your taste bud pleasure. I had the berry crêpe with ice cream. The berries were super fresh, the crêpe was made before my eyes. Go here and try their creative treats. NYC comfort food! Come hungry. The portions are huge. I couldn’t finish mine. I can’t wait to traipse to Chinatown and have another one.

All the dessert crepes look over-the-top delicious but it actuality it was just okay tasting. It may have been that the crêpe was a bit soggy and not crispy like other crepes I’ve had(namely Crepes Canaveral from Brittany in EV which is sadly closed). They have a mix of savory and sweet crepes — we had the green tea ice cream crêpe with fresh strawberries. I liked the green tea ice cream and little additions like the Pocky sticks and red bean on top, but sadly presentation didn’t makeup for taste. Cute place to try though. Very little eat-in seating, but plenty of people were enjoying theirs outside the shop.

Um lugar ótimo para uma parada, especialmente para quem não come gluten. Comemos um de banana com chocolate e amêndoas — delicioso e leve. A aparência do crêpe tb é linda!

The service was amazing. It took a while, but that’s understandable: 2 persons manning the entire place and 15 customers is no joke. We waited around 20 minutes for our crêpe, which was fine, because the barista(he is a barista, right?) informed us of this before we made our order. Crêpe-wise, not too impressed. Got the Matcha stripe, it was yummy, but no five-star. Your average crêpe fare. Note: the shop is extremely cramped. Prepare to squeeze.

Stopped by NYE to try out a new dessert since I was around the area. Very delicate and irresistible — it looked artfully well-made. I ordered the Azuki berries for take-out and was impressed w/the packaging. Random strangers on the subway kept staring at my crêpe. One girl asked me where I got this and if she could take a photo of the crêpe. I happily obliged. When I got home, I noticed how the crêpe remained intact after 30 mins. Every bite, I took the cream layers literally melted in my mouth leaving a subtle taste of the green tea icecream. I would definitely go back to try the other flavors though I think $ 9.50($ 10.34 including taxes) is a tab much for a crêpe…

ALERT: If you are walking to Little Italy and you see this cute display, you CANNOTRESIST coming inside for a Japanese crêpe! The space is so small. There are just 4 seats inside and an outdoor bench so most people have to line up outside. Anything on the menu is so good, from sweet crepes with ice cream and fruits to crepes with salmon and salad. 2 crepes from Eight Turn can be an excellent brunch for me. Take my money and give me the crepes!

Service: Amazing. They address each customer with care, making sure you get exactly what you want. Although, they let people stand around in front of the counter when they can’t make a decision and stick with them until they order instead of trying to help the next customer to speed everything up. Food: Meh. This was my first crêpe experience and it was disappointing. The crêpe, surprisingly, was not warm. Although it was pretty to look at and make for a great Instagram photo, it was messy to eat. I ordered the Matcha Stripe Chocolate and it just did not live up to expectation. Experience: This place is SMALL! There is only five seats inside and if you’re lucky, you might be able to snag one for yourself. It’s so stuffy inside with the heat from the crêpe making machine and all the people inside, either waiting to order, waiting for their order, or trying to enjoy their crêpe. I can’t imagine myself coming back here and going through the hassle for a crêpe again.

Great place to get delicious crepes! Slightly pricey(definitely $ 10+), but I guess I don’t come here too often anyways, so I don’t mind it as much. It’s a pretty small space, so it’d probably be best to take it to-go. They have a small bench that fits about 3 people, and 2 more stools near the window. It’s sometimes confusing where the line is since there are a lot of people waiting around for their crepes too. My favorite is the eight turn lox, which has sliced lox(smoked salmon), cream cheese, capers sliced red onions, and spinach. Great option if you are grabbing brunch on the go! I’ve also tried the azuki berries one which includes strawberries, Il Laboratoria del Gelato Matcha green tea gelato(!!!), azuki beans(red beans), whipped yogurt, green tea custard cream, slivered almonds, and pocky sticks — the matcha gelato is enough of a reason to get it!!! I always ask the staff to leave the crêpe on the hot plate a little longer than usual since I like it crispy, the way they make crepes in Asia(at least where I’m from, Taipei). It always comes out a little crispier than usual, but never to the crispyness I would want haha. At least it ensures that the crêpe is hot when I get it!!! :) Love how crêpe batter is the perfect sweetness, and they always fill the ingredients to the brim. Wait is a little long since they’re all made to order, so be prepared!

This place was recommended to me a long time ago. I finally had the chance to take a visit! It’s a small little shop with maybe 4 seats, so don’t expect a seat. I ordered the Harajuku Fruit crêpe. Unfortunately, they ran out of bananas at 7pm on a Saturday. Not a big deal for my crêpe, but half their crepes are banana heavy. It took about 20 minutes for my one crêpe. It was yummy, but definitely not something out of the ordinary. Perhaps I’ll go back for the Azuki Berries crêpe, which was the one originally recommended to me.

Based on my one experience here, I would give this place 2.5 stars. The major drawback is that the crêpe they served had been pre-made, sitting there for who knows how long, and was not even warmed up. Considering that it was already made, the crêpe still took a long time to make. I would give this place another try because aside from the cold crêpe that essentially ruined the experience, the ingredients were decent quality. Aside from that though, it was still edible and satisfied a sweet tooth craving! Perhaps it would be better if you go when there’s more turnout so you can get a fresh, hot crêpe.

I was really excited to try this place, because I had tried another Japanese style crêpe place and it was soo good that I was craving for more crepes. Well this establishment was a disappointment. I had ordered the Matcha Stripe crêpe and asked for it to be topped with matcha icecream and was charged an extra 2 dollars. After I was already charged, they told me they ran out of chocolate truffles and could give me a substitute. the substitute waschocolate sauce– which is probably worth like 50 cents– what a ripoff! First strike– they should have told me first before they charged me so I could change my order or they could have given me the ice cream for free. Strike 2– I saw a crêpe that was already made and was sitting out for a while. I wasn’t sure if they were going to give me that same crêpe or make a fresh new one. Well they didn’t give me a fresh one, because when I bit into my crêpe, it was cold and soggy. Strike 3– when I compare this place to it’s competition, the portions are definitely smaller here, the crêpe is bland and soggy, and the store is so small you barely have space to eat. Eight turn crêpe you have failed me.

Even better than anticipated! Just off Broadway we found this little crêpe‘ French-Asian fusion kitchen. It’s a sliver of a place just big enough to step in, order your food, grab it then go. We were on the go so it was perfect for us. They have desert and savory crêpe‘ wraps. I had the Chicken Teriyaki wrap, OMG! It has cut hard boiled egg, chicken, spinach and other wonderful flavors and textures. They wrap the wraps in a cone like paper so we were walking down the street eating them like ice cream cones. As we walked by everyone was asking us where we got them and commenting on how amazing they looked. They hit the spot! Two thumbs up

I love Eight Turn Crêpe! They have such a great selection of sweet and savory crepes, all with a great variety of ingredients. It is a very small place with three bar stools and a bench fit for two, so I usually would not linger around. It is a little tight and makes it kind of awkward to order. I would order and eat as I walk. I love hand held crepes! I don’t like staying in one place for long, so being able to walk and indulge at the same time is a plus! Their packaging makes it easy to eat on the go too! You peel the wrapper on your way down the crêpe. I tend to always come by after a shopping day at Soho because it’s pretty conveniently located. I really love the Matcha Stripe Chocolate with a scoop of green tea ice cream. I almost always get this one when I visit! I think it is one of their bestsellers, because who doesn’t love matcha, right? With the green tea ice cream, it tastes ahh-mazing. I love the matcha custard, chocolate truffles, and chocolate sauce in it too and it is so well balanced with the tartness of the strawberry. I have also tried the Azuki Berry crêpe. It is so delicious with the bean paste, almonds, and green tea ice cream is already included! The crêpe is really soft and chewy and crispy on the edges and one is pretty filling for one person because they are pretty big in size. They are usually pretty quick with preparing the crepes too and they’re made right in front of you. I cannot wait to return and try their savory crepes. I would love to try the Eight Turn lox! And I also want to try the Lychee Valentine, hopefully they still have it the next time I return!

I was pretty excited to try this place as I’ve always walked past it many times. Each time I was enticed in by their delicious display of goodies but I was either too full or not hungry enough for a crêpe. During my final days in NYC I decided to take up my last chance of trying this place. As a matcha fan I obviously went for the matcha chocolate. It turned out to be a disappoint because of the crêpe. It wasn’t thin or crispy. It was more like a soggy pancake. The texture was way off. There’s not much seating here either, it’s mostly for grabbing and going.

Tried Chicken Thai this time. It doesn’t taste very Thai. It’s ok. My gf’s harajiku taste better even though they ran out of mango this time. Chicken marinated in red-orangish sauce which is very salty. Lack of refreshing taste like lemon or cilantro. Maybe some coconut would work. Black sesame shake was good too.

Loved the banana chocolate crêpe + Green tea ice cream here($ 9.25). I think there could have been a couple more chocolate bits in the crêpe(i think there were about four small chunks?), but overall it was a great dessert choice around the area. They were very quick to make the order and i was in and out within 5 minutes. I have not tried their savory crepes yet but my coworkers tell me they’re pretty good.

This was our first time trying ice cream with a crêpe wrapped around it like a cone and it is a great summertime treat. The location was easy to find by SoHo and it is conveniently located right across from the 6 subway stop. The staff was extremely welcoming and friendly and even complimented my eye makeup: P I love the creative array of flavors; I tried the«Lychee Valentine» and it was scrumptious. The décor was brilliant especially with their implementation of flower petals(that are edible). They are made quickly and the wait time was only less than 5 minutes(for two)! They do not have too many seats; only about 6 inside and a couple spots outside. One of the seats on the bench against the wall is close to the trash can flip door so avoid sitting there, so you won’t be in people’s way. Other than that, great flavors and a one-of-a-kind treat for the summer heat! P. S. We are addicted to their Yuzu soda… Such a citrusy and refreshing delight!

HUGE(not the ad agency, but the size) CREPES. I ordered the harajuku fruit cocktail, and it was filled with fruits and berries! Definitely, big enough for 2 to share. Cool place to grab dessert right after a meal, or if you’re just feeling peckish. 8⁄8 stars for a store you should not TURN away from! Let the nomming commence!

My husband and I were in the mood for something light and hence or decision to get crepes. The reviews were positive so we were inspired to try out this eatery. The server was friendly and helpful even though I felt that there was a bit of up selling that was occurring. The crepes were made to order and one could see them being made. While tasty we found that the ingredients were not consistently spread out through the crêpe. So while there was avocado in my first few bits by the time I was six bits in there was none. The same was true for the NY cheesecake with fresh blueberries. I doubt that there were ten fresh blueberries in the whole thing and the ice cream was limited to the top of the crêpe. There isn’t much of a sitting area but being that the weather was nice we were happy to go to the park and eat. We were not wowed.

OMG !
