Elite Event at Nolita Mart & Espresso Bar

yes, I was here. The place was very small but still a cool elite event. I enjoyed the Blue Marble ice cream the most it was so good. There were not many other food choices though. There was some kind of tuna salad thing that no one seemed to want to touch so I stayed away. I loved, loved that Ice cream. The coffee was pretty cool to get for free also. Great seeing the few people that I did recognize at this event. Alot of first timers at this one. Welcome to Unilocal Elite, Rookies. EJ, Alex S and Mike K hope to see you again. Glad I found it I mean the place in itself, and glad I got the chance to go. Great job jane.

A small group, perfect for speaking to the vendors and other elite members. I really enjoyed meeting the vendors, ask questions, and learn about their process. I think I might have found my next vacation with Moho Chocolates.
Blue Point Brewery had a sleuth of options. My favorite was the blueberry flavor — light and refreshing. I sampled two other beers, but blueberry was the winner.
Blue Marble Ice Cream featured 4 different flavors. I tried marble pecan and strawberry — 2 thumbs up!
Bruce Cost Ginger Ale — three flavors, strong and muddle. A bit too much ginger for my taste bud.
Stumptown Coffee: tried the hot chocolate. Premade milk was heated up with steam. It was OK.
Moho Chocolate: they harvest their own coco beans, with A to Z process of the making of their chocolates. They also have vacation packages for one week where you can make your own chocolates!

Another stellar event thrown by the amazing Unilocal team! Thank you Jane and Peter for being such awesome hosts.
I am now officially addicted to salty, oatmeal chocolate chip cookies! Had so much fun trying all the delicious treats. Can’t wait to have bloody mary’s made with pickle juice!
The cold-​brew coffee was amazing! Never knew coffee could be good without tons of sugar in it. Enjoyed connecting with Unilocalers that I had previously met, (Pamela S. and Catherine J.) as well as get to know new awesome people (like Jessica M. & Ashley S.)! I definitely can’t wait to see you all again soon. And many thanks go out to Jessica M. for introducing me to Quickly Bubble Tea!
I’m officially a New Yorker because my favorite part of the evening was the alcohol. All the amazing beer we could drink! And the blueberry beer was just heavenly.
I can’t wait until the next event!!!

As I sat in my kitchen at 1 in the morning, eating the insanely good goat cheese (that I bought at this event from Vermont Creamery) off of a butter knife, I paused to reflect. This is what you’ve done to us, Unilocal.Created foodie monsters!
And I love you for it.

I got my Stumptown Coffee fix (*heart*) while Rich W. directed me towards all the goods! I indulged in sweet treats including Blue Marble Ice Cream and The Good Batch’s STROOPWAFLES cookies! *drool*
Ommegang brought quality brews to the table, and it was good to see my neighbors, Blue Point Brewing Co. there as well (Long Island REPRESENT). Let’s also not forget Vermont Creamery’s fantastically creamy goat cheeses– drizzled with a little honey on top?! NOM!
It was somewhat hard to navigate around the aisles of Nolita Mart, but the super intimate «Elites Only» setting made it easy to mingle!

When I RSVPed for this Elite Event I was a little confused by the address,
I did a double take because I know the area as a messy Chinatown spill over of mom & pop groceries, dumpling & noodle shops, variety stores and hair salons. Wasn’t this site“158 Mott” the Yan Mei Foot doctor just a couple of years ago?
What can this «Nolita Mart» be? But I do like espresso and I’ll walk a mile for a good cup!
I am so happy I came to Nosh-​tastic Coffee Hour and tried the Espresso Bar which served Stumptown coffee; the espresso was fantastic.
The Elite group was small and intimate; we all got up close a personal because two Elites full of Blue Marble Ice Cream and beer barely can pass in the aisles! I believe I hang out at the Blue Marble Ice Cream just a little too long!
Shane from Blue Point Brewery kept me very hydrated and Mark on Ommegang Brewery followed up also with more samples.
Vermont Creamery kept me feed with fresh goat cheese and honey on Castleton Crackers and Lisa D. and I took liberty with the organic XOCHiTL chips and dips.
Chatting with new Elite strangers was easy and they become your new friends very quickly. There was no loud music blasting in the back ground so conversations are relaxing and comfortable.
Good times had by all; Thanks Jane, Leighann, Peter and Nolita Mart! Now I know where I can get a great cup of coffee when I am in the area. I grabbed one more cup of espresso for the road!

Lovely event with delightful tastes, sips, and people.
I loved the spiced stroopwafels from The Good Batch, as well as the Spring Fling (crisp, notes of pear) and Blueberry brews from Blue Point. Ommegang’s Abbey Ale was mellow and delicious, as was the mint chip Blue Marble ice cream. I could have eaten a log of both the aged goat cheese and the cultured butter from Vermont Creamery, and I dug McClure’s spicy pickles and bloody mary mix (I could drink this by the container-​full). Moho’s chocolate bar with ginger was something special. And I can’t remember having a latte as good as the one that Vanessa concocted for me.
If you’re going to a party and need to bring something tasty, or you’re throwing a party of your own and you want to serve delicious and unique nibbles, or if you just want a damn good espresso drink, this is the place to go.
