I cut my long hair from this place for the first time and the stylist who took care of my hair was very attentive and listen to my wants for my hairstyle.
I basically trimmed off the split ends and got some layer on the front part of my hair and I am satisfied with the result. funny thing was usually they would wash my hair before start cutting but this lady looked at my hair and said «Does this hair needs washing?» and figured she would just start cutting without washing. I secretly hoped she would decide to wash but oh well lol.
She meticulously trimmed my hair and did a great job which did not totally change my hairstyle but it is much lighter in weight and feels light. Price is also very affordable compared to other hair salons in Flushing. I will be back once or twice more this year to their shop and hopefully will look for same stylist! :D

Very nice hair salon. Prices are reasonable (about $ 20 for a haircut and wash, $ 70 for hair dye including haircut and wash), and they’re very friendly. The owner lady is pretty good with the styling, and the youngish girl too (mid 20s to late, I’d say). If you go there, ask for either of these two specifically in case some of the other assistants are around, to get the best results.
They don’t speak English very well so that could be a problem for English speakers. Also, they don’t accept cards. :/​
Recommended for normal haircuts.

This salon is not ventilated. There’s a pervasive chemical smell that gave me a headache. I was given a choice to wait a full hour between highlights and hair trim or have their new (and inexperienced) assistant trim my hair. I opted to pay and leave and it was a good thing because the assistant got my hair tangled on a hair brush twice. I shudder to imagine the damage she would’ve done with scissors in her hands. At a closer look at home, some of the highlights were a quarter inch from the roots.

I love Emotions. I have been going there for more than 5 years. Good service. Great haircut always and great pricing. I recommended this place to many friends whom would go all the way from the city to Flushing to get haircut.
