This review is specifically for the Sunday Soup Kitchen program (
) via their Cathedral Community Cares initiative at St. John the Divine.
Having volunteered here countless times, I see first-​hand how this helps individuals and families every week. With a Sunday in-​house breakfast (10AM serving with a 9AM prep-​time start) and lunch (12:30PM serving with an 11:30AM prep-​time start) being served separately as well as a take-​home extra-​meal this is a place for regular assistance to many and is helped out through volunteering efforts of alot of people.
People assist with the preparing of food and are instrumental in the serving of it to between 75 and 185 people depending on the week.
