Excellent and better than the mom and pop shops nearby. Prices similar to Home Depot but closer to home. Guys are super knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend!

THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY AWFUL AND OVER CHARGE YOU! DO NOT GO THERE!!! They are rude over the phone, and act as though they are doing you a favor. I made three keys there and two didn’t work. I was in a hurry, so I had to make the keys elsewhere. They told me that they wouldn’t give me a store credit. I was not happy about it so I told then I would not do business with them. They said, that’s okay. Also, one of the guys insulted me and that was not called for. That’s not a way to treat a customer. You know what, THEY DON“T NEED YOUR BUSINESS, SO GO ELSEWHERE!!!

Prices for tools are highway robbery bought a jigsaw should have cost at the most 300 they charged me 500 plus tax customer service is good but not for that price

I had a great experience in this store right after hurricane Sandy! I found unusual items like lamp oil for my kerosene lamp, special flashlight bulbs, etc. I couldn’t believe how helpful they were, too giving me individual attention for the 10 minutes I was there. Knowing that my power wad out, they were so caring and sympathetic! It’s a terrific store!

East Harlem has plenty of small, neighborhood hardware stores but they are all messy, cramped and they never have what you need when you need it. This new Ace is bright and roomy with garden, plumbing, electrical and auto supplies. They even have a paint department. I can finally get a new battery for my Black & Decker Firestorm drill. Generally I’m not a fan of chain stores like Home Depot. I always like to support the local shops if I can, but I’m tired of asking for something and hearing «No» over and over again. A big, bright, roomy, fully-​stocked hardware store a block from my apartment? My prayers have been answered.
