FedEx Office Print & Ship Center

Not sure why the rating is so low for this location. I went today and had a seamless experience. I dealt with a very friendly female employee who answered my questions and assisted me right away. Every time I’ve gone, there haven’t been many lines (the location in downtown Brooklyn is the worst).

This place ships my things where I want them to go.
However I’ve probably been there about 20 times and I would estimate that they have been rude, impatient, or condescending to me about 20 of those times.
Now, I’m no FedExpert or anything, but it seems totally within reason that these people could be friendly, or at the very least, not assholes.
@Fedex… I’m not sure if you’re just paying your employees at this location nothing, are running an abusive workplace, or actually instructing your employees to be rude because it accomplishes some sort of business objective which I don’t understand, but the consistency of my disappointment leads me to believe that this is a management issue.
Two stars because they ship my things where I want them to go.

it is a shame that this place has such great location and hrs of operation yet TERRIBLE customer service. i had to scan something urgently so i went in at 6am to scan 3 pages. i was the only customer there and Sharon just refused to help me after i asked for a little guidance on 3 separate occasions. I spent $ 9.50 and accomplished absolutely nothing

I found a shipment store with slower service than the U.S. Post!
I came in to pick up a package and was third in line. I literally waited 30 min to pick up a package! The lady behind the counter moved slower than a turtle! I ended up sitting in the floor. They really need waiting room chairs in this location!
Go to the UPS packaging store around the corner. Much faster service!

Service people were rude, multiple black and white printers were broken, and it cost me $ 7.45 to print 6 pieces of paper. $ 7.45. Thy charge you for the paper AND the time you spend on the computers, even though there are usually more than 10 computers open.

I have used this location on a number of occasions. You know the last minute emergency cause the printer ran out of ink… uggghhh dont you hate that. I only use the printers never had to encounter real people.
I had a draft copy of book I needed copies for and was meeting my friend to give a copy too. This place was close by but the prices are not cheap 13 cents a copy. I value my printer at home but when you are in a bind you do what you gotta do.
The machines are easy to use, slide your credit card or debit card in payment reader and wait for approval. Then set up machine at key pad with color or black and white. You know one sided or two sided its pretty rudimentary.
Pretty easy to use and place was not crowded at all. The next time I will remember to have a spare ink cartridge for my printer at home. I am not cheap but the cost here was almost half of the cost of cartridge. And that one cartridge on my home printer makes over 1,000 copies.

the queue waiting for Fedex/​shipping services is literally slower than a NYC US post office. the service counter is never manned by more than one person &, for a private profit-​motivated enterprise, is absolutely shameful.
seriously, you’re fedex, get your sh*t together.

Fuck this sack of shit store. None of the card readers work, it’s understaffed and the computers are too old for google drive

I’d give 0 stars if I could.
I tried to call in advance to avoid any confusion, fulfilled all prerequisites established on the call before showing up to the store, and still left empty-​handed.
They said they didn’t sell photo paper (they do) and that it was A-​Ok to show up with photos to be printed directly from email (it’s not).
The employees are unhelpful and unprepared. Unfortunately, I’m sure I’ll have to return in the future.

Not really sure what all the fuss is about. I don’t come into any of these places looking for anything exceptional. This place is open early so there when you need it in a clutch. Came in to print a few resumes right before my interview. They even had a great portfolio folder that I was able to get that made me look like I was prepared. Sure the service isn’t any good but who actually wants to be working at one of these.

Excellent friendly service & everything you could need for printing is available with helpful staff & open Sunday’s.

Charles, Mike, and Alice made shipping my entire apartment in boxes across the country so much easier. I am very appreciative of all their help during my frequent visits in the past few weeks. They are very knowledgeable, friendly and made shipping quick and simple. Best FedEx location in New York. Thank you again guys!

My only question to this location is: why are you open today? I can only assume this place has horrible management, because I just went there to ship an item and they were out of boxes. Completely. Not one box of any size at all. As a shipping business, this is an obvious disaster. They told me to go buy a box at Staples. There is another fedex in Union square, walking distance, where I assume boxes could be obtained if any effort or care was put into this. Instead I had to go myself in hopes of finding a location with a box. Not acceptable.

I went late so things were very slow (I was the only one in the store besides the employees!) which meant very quick logging into a computer, $.30/​min able to pay with a credit/​debit card which is super convenient versus some of the other more local shops that won’t let you charge unless you’ve reached a certain limit. Easy to pay, easy to print out, no major interactions with employees other than ‘go over there to that area and log on the computer’, etc. Very friendly employees from the small interaction I did have. Quick, cheap, easy, and many computers to work at. I like it. I know where I’ll go next time I need to print out something simple!

I enjoy the convenience that this location is close to my gym. The staff is cordial and right next to a star bucks. The parking is better than St marks and Les. The street meter parking does open up seldom, you will have to just keep sharking around the block. I go in do my business and off to the R, NY, or 6 train I go.

I came here on two different occasions once in the afternoon and once at night and the people here were all very nice and polite. I talked with a few different men and women both times and they were all very courteous and helpful. Shayna was especially great, but really, everyone was good here, from the managers downward.

The service is slow and the employees are neither knowledgeable and helpful about your printing needs, nor trained properly to assess the length, cost, etc. of the job.
I’ve been to several FedEx Office Print & Ship Centers throughout the city, and I have to say it may just be a FedEx problem instead of this specific location’s problem. However, other locations have been good about calling when the order is ready — at this location, I have never once gotten a call when my order has been ready, though they promise I will receive one.

These employees are the WORST. They are so rude and lazy. One time, I stood in line 15 minutes because I needed to ship something and when I got to the front a woman who had been working at FedEx for over 30 years told me to go fill out a form over on the desk. So I did. And I waited in line again. Fifteen minutes later and I’m at the front again. She tells me to go pick out a box (even though there are boxes right behind her). So I do. And I wait in line again. This time when I get to the front, I’m the only one in line and she just ignores me. Completely ignores me. She just talks to a coworker instead. I finally have to get the attention of a different employee to help me.
Today, I called there because I needed some delivery information and the woman on the phone treated me like I was the scum of the earth. She had so much attitude I finally asked to speak to her manager. When she asked what it was about, I told her it was her and she flipped. She just got ruder and kept telling me her manager wasn’t there and she’d take my name and number for him to call me later. Yeah right.
I’m a professional photographer and I had to switch my printing company because of how awful these people are. Yeah, it’s that bad.

In a lost golden age before the net there were two amazing places: Fedex would get your package there overnight and had killer customer service. And of course Kinkos was THE place to do anything with desktop publishing, which was a great gift since a full Mac and printer setup cost about $ 5000. But sadly some classics don’t get better with age:
Every time I go there for Fedex service you tend to get a staffer who hasn’t been trained, or a staffer who seems on a lunch break, or the untrained staffer being guided by the lunch break staffer while the clock is ticking. And the best part is that no matter when you go there you will have to wait on line, and wait and wait. I’d comment on the Kinkos side of the operation, but the Fedex service tends to be so bad that I’ve never been even tempted to stand on the other line to get a price list.

This location has plenty of copiers and station. Nothing special. The employees are as apathetic as any copy location. I had difficulties using the self-​service kiosk when refilling my card, but an employee was able to add value to my card at the register.
Got to a computer station, printed out my copies and was out the door in 5 minutes.
