FedEx Office Print & Ship Center

I usually go to the fed ex on 79 street or 75 on the east side. I should have waited after work to go there but instead I went to this one durning my lunch. I try to scan and send my paper work but there was no one around to help me with that service so I decided to use the fax. The fax stated whatever you fax face it up I did that and payed close to 20 dollars. I get back to work and the pets I faced the paper work to stated all the paperwork was blank. I had to re fax it from my job which I was trying to avoid. One don’t want people at my job in my business, two it is not allowed for the employees to fax personal information. I called fed ex stating I wanted my money back since the fax pages was blank. I don’t know if it was the manager but the person on the phone stated I can’t receive my money back and I did the fax wrong. I did not do the fax wrong. First I know I didn’t do the fax wrong because one of the pages a fax was a double page. If I did it wrong the person would have received one page. The person I faced said she received no pages all of them was blank. He person at fed ex also stated it was my mistake because I did not wait for a person to help me. One there was only two people there two there both people had a line that was close to the printers machines that are probably one yard close to the door. The person said I can come back, to get it re faxed but what was the point when I already faxed it. I asked if I can comeback another day to fax more information but he dismissed that idea saying the fax work it was your mistake and I should have waited for someone to help me. So I’m to wait an hour and a half to get some help when it looked like the people there couldn’t even help the customers was help at that moment. I will never go to that fed ex again and in the future I hope to never go back to one. I’m a person who have a fax machine but don’t have access because it’s in storage. Next time I will go to the 75 street one I know for sure I will get better and quick service. Horrible

I waited almost 20 minutes while the clerk tried to process three boxes for the guy ahead of me. The clerk kept entering the information wrong on the computer, spoke very poor English, and insisted that I use a self-​service kiosk rather than wait, even though my box could not be processed in that way.
I then tried another line, only to have a repeat of the same situation.
I left after 20 minutes. The clerks were unhelpful, incompetent, impolite and practically unintelligible.
This place is a mess, and FedEx should be ashamed of itself.

Clean and no line to use the computers, etc. I came here to print out tickets to a show and it was chick and easy. It’s $ 0.35 a minute to use the computer and then about $ 0.50 a page to print. Worth it for the convenience.

Much better service today, the ladies are getting through the queue as fast as possible :)

Horrible customer service. Went in there on a Sunday and they weren’t busy at all. The owner or manager, I presume, was busy berating and troubling his employees when there were 3 – 4 customers awaiting service. When it was my turn at the counter he belittled me for not having all my PDFs in one folder. They were indeed in one folder but he meant I should’ve combined them as one file*. Learn the difference between a file and a folder, buddy. It was unpleasant and a mood killer.
I wouldn’t send you here if they were the last place on earth with running water.

As someone who works from home and up until now, hasn’t owned a printer, I regularly use this Kinko’s for overpriced print-​outs. I’m okay with being overcharged — even though printing a page comes to nearly a dollar, even though it makes me go online and set it all up with all the options such that they don’t have to do anything — it’s okay as I have limited space in my NYC apartment that I didn’t want to share with equipment.
Historically, the employees at this location have been hit or miss — with some of them being amazingly friendly and others being blah. They always have appeared to be understaffed, and leave customers attempting to do their own copying to their own devices rather than assisting.
Then today happened. When I got there at four pm it was a bit of pandemonium. I had printed online and already paid, so I literally just needed to pick up 36 pieces of paper (for which I had the honor of paying $ 33). There was a long line, and there were a total of two employees who were able to check customers out (one at the packages with the other at the printing station). It took 20 minutes for me to get to the front of the line. I watched as customer after customer were having issues with the fax machine, copy machine or printers — and there was not a single person to help. Multiple would-​be customers left because they could not make the machines work.
Considering how much of a profit margin it must be to have customers do their own activities, I find it puzzling that FedEx Office would not allocate an additional $ 12/​hour for an additional employee to help at peak times. Today was a total waste of time and resources — and the flow issue could’ve easily been solved with proper staffing.
In short, I’ve already ordered a printer off amazon so I don’t have to go back ever again. I’ll save my dollar a print-​out.

I ship international FedEx parcels every business day and I have to say, this is one of the nastier locations. I don’t mean nasty as in the neighborhood — I’m referring to the majority of staff. First off, if you walk in during even rush hour, there will be large lines which is understandable. I have an account, so I process all my packages from my home office. It’s just a matter of dropping them off without having to wait in line.
Here’s the thing — you never know where to «drop» them in this place. You have to navigate pass the crowd to the front desk and God forbid you interrupt the guy for a second to ask «where should I put these?». You’ll get a look like you introduced the plaque. It’s bad enough the line of people give you dirty looks because they’re wondering why you’re jumping to the front. Hello? My parcels don’t need individual attention from the staff! I just want to drop the boxes down on to any FedEx manned surface and leave! So after the FedEx worker points to the floor (where I see other parcels piled up), I drop my boxes on top. Done.
Next time you go in, the scenario might play different. You’ll now be told to put the parcels on the table not on the floor. The following day, it’s not on this side of the table, but the other side.
That’s the thing — you just can’t walk in, drop and go. You always have to ask! Oh, and the majority of times if you need to find a specific supply (a letter, or pouch), the supply bins are empty. Once again, you have to interrupt one of the staff to ask for something that normally is accessible by the public. The other day I needed one envelope just to pack my ALREADY PROCESSED parcel. I go to ask one of the workers not attending to the line of unhappy faces, and I’m told to wait in line. I said «what? «I have to wait in line for an envelope?» He then gave me grouchy look as he had to walk five feet toward the back to get me one. You think he would fill the shelves with more after that request? Nah…
Hey Fed Ex — My apologies for disturbing your employees because of my continuously-​bad habit of giving you business.

Tried to print photos. Read the Unilocal reviews of this location, thought: «blegh how bad could it be?»
Horrible service, rude management, left to print photos elsewhere.

Had to come in here to print a boatload of forms for my Indian visa. While it ended up being a little more expensive than I expected and I’m still terrified all my sensitive personal information is now in the hands of Russian hackers, I still give the overall experience 3 stars.
Note to fedex: you should wipe your memory after each use. It’s not hard to set up and it would make me feel loads more comfortable.

Mere minutes of my life spent here and it still seems like a waste of time.
I needed to print off one sheet of paper. One sheet. Logging in, swiping my credit card was easy enough. Internet could have been faster, but whatever. Easy getting my document and pushing print. This whole operation took 2 minutes. And then… nothing.
The printer stands dead silent. I wait. Still nothing. Finally, after further examination, I realize the printer has jammed. Knowing that my credit card is being charged with every passing minute, I quickly pull out the jammed paper, and the printer starts printing again.
Unfortunately, two things happen. One, the job coming out is not my print job, it’s a flier for some douche-​tastic frat boy event. Two, the printer jams again after printing 3 pages. Sigh. I fix the printer. Print restarts. JAMS AGAIN. Really? So here I am, fixing someone else’s print job, just to get my own damn piece of paper. This happens, oh… about 4 times or so. I look around for an employee to perhaps assist. Nope.
As I’m struggling, a guy wanders by and casually says,“Oh, it’s not done yet?” He gives me an amused chuckle and wanders off. Turns out, it’s HIS print job that’s jamming, and instead of doing something about it, the guy is freakin’ strolling around the store like he’s in a botanical garden or something. HEY GENIUS, want to handle your own print job?
Finally, Bro Boy’s print job finally finishes and I get my own one page print job. I’ve officially been charged for fixing someone else’s print job. To further mock me, the computer informs me it’s sending my receipt to said printer. Haha computer, you’re funny.
Hey FedEx, fix your printers! Paper jams every 3 pages are NOT OKAY. And Bro Boy, hope your event went well. Sorry I got fingerprints all over your fliers.

this place was awful. The guy was nice and all, but they had their self-​serve printers set up so that everything I tried to print, it tried to make me print twice (even though I only asked it to print once). I was in a hurry and didn’t realize this was happening (I just hit «okay» when it would ask me to confirm) until I was halfway done printing. It ended up costing me $ 17 to print a couple documents and I was in too much of a hurry to ask them to reverse the charges.

The exterior of this location 7^th Avenue and 23^rd Street was recently released from months of endless scaffolding. This location is bigger with ample supplies. I wholeheartedly agree with NY’S Unilocal CM Peter D. with «the shipping staff assaults you if they don’t like…» don’t like how you don’t put their supplies away in its proper place and coldly remarks you to pick up your own debris from packaging. I was so pressed for time to ensure a package shipped out overnight for next business day arrival without any boxes at my workplace, therefore I use a FedEx box and waited for the clerk to process my shipment. Yes, the man was very abrasive to coldly hark back on disposing my litter while other clerks and associates hang loose standing and boisterously laugh at another colleague rather than working.
Extremely unprofessional and coarsely spoken, ill mannered staff.

I rarely give a one star but for this particular experience I have to say EFF YOU. I’ve been here before and it’s dirty, they don’t monitor the bums lingering around and sleeping in the computer stations, and tonight they royally pissed me off. BOTH color printers are out of commission, and when I asked the girl at the counter she gave me so much attitude it wasn’t even funny. «Sorry you’re out of luck tonight. We normally might be able to help you out but tonight we are completely booked up with orders back here. If you have a USB you can use a regular machine.» I said well I don’t have a USB can I borrow one? Nope sorry. Put a sign on the door then folks. Common courtesy. Send me elsewhere then ya idiots. How long have these printers been busted? I’m pretty sure all day. I’m hot headed right now yes but I’ve repeatedly visited this location and witnessed irritated customers, bad conditions, and Fedex should take some responsibility!

There is nothing express about this place. There seem to be plenty of employees but no one to help you. One employee took nearly five minutes sending a single envelope. It was right out of the scene in Meet the Parents where the airport employee types endlessly to little result.
Aside from that it’s like any other FedEx. Decent amount of supplies and workstations.

This is just about the Sony photo printers there. They are terrible. It’s like if a computer user from 2013 had to dock with a ATM/​epson printer from 1997.

I really feel like if you don’t like to work at your job, quit. I went to this location to pick up a package i missed at a home delivery and this was the closest location to my home. They were supposed to notify me when they received the package so i can pick it up and DIDN’T. When i tracked my pacakge it said it was at the location. I went to pick it up and there was NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. The guy who was supposed to help me was rude, unfriendly and slow. It was obvious he didn’t want to work. They should give them a crash course on good customer service whether you feel like it or not.

Free office space if you like the person next to you to have just been released from Belmont Manhattan Psychiatric hospital! I mean the craziest people come in here including homeless drug addicts. As I write this, there is a junkie doing yoga stretching with his giant Duffle bag in the middle of the floor with God knows what inside.
The WIFI is an effing joke. I can’t believe how slow it is, you can’t even watch a freakin YouTube video. FEDEX fix this problem!

For all I know, this may be the worst print & ship center* of all time. The printers could leak ink and the copiers might be out of order half the time. Perhaps the shipping staff uses your documents as toilet paper, or assaults you if they don’t like the cut of your jib.**
I don’t know.
What I do know, is that the woman who handled my passport photo was efficient and friendly; she clearly does this all the time, and didn’t waste any of my time.
She knew, without checking, exactly how much it cost for two photos, tax included ($ 14.10. Seems steep for two small photos, but I have no frame of reference.) She informed me that I shouldn’t smile in a passport photo, pretended I was handsome, and most importantly, she let me see the digital shot before we went to print.
Yeah, I might still look like a drug addict in the final shot. But she did let me veto my three chins, eyes closed, spinach in the teeth and addicted to drugs shot… so my new passport picture will be marginally better than it could have been, and I owe it all to her.
All in all, I appreciate that the quick service, and I’m happy with the result.

**This is never a problem for me. My jib is impeccably cut.

The people in this store offer the worst customer service I’ve experienced in a long time.
When the standard overnight envelopes for FedEx were empty, I asked if they had any more envelopes. I was told I would need to purchase a manilla envelope and then place my document inside there.
«All we have is what is out there».
I understand these stores need to sell their services, and supplies to pay the bills, but this is just wrong.
I’ll never be going back to this store again.
