Weak hair cut for $ 18 that took 3 minutes. Place was empty except for the 4 employees sitting around.

Tip: If you’re close and looking for a fast cut this is a good option. Fade was $ 18 and I gave a $ 5 tip. Less than 25 minutes and $ 23 dollars. I work around the corner on 5th ave and I was walking to a barber up the road that I had been to once before. I passed this place and saw someone was getting ready to pay so I assumed it might be faster to stop in here. The first thing I do is look at the people leaving the shop who just go their cut. His looked alright so I left safe. The barber shop is clean and open. There were 4 barbers cutting on the Thursday 12pm that I went. I got right into a chair and the barber started cutting. He told me what I wanted done pretty much haha. but he was right on with what I had in mind. I had to ask him to trim my bangs after he had finished but that was no problem. I was in and out in 20 minutes. I will likely go back here if I need a quick cut on my lunch hour.

Clean friendly and professional — Unilocal needs me to type more information so it becomes a review and not just a tip. For a barbershop I’m not sure what more you can add or than«Clean, friendly and professional »

My hair is fairly easy – I ask for a ½ all around, taper the back, keep the lines natural. These guys get it done perfectly every time I go. My cuts are normally with Sergei or Nick – both are awesome. Quite cheap too, only $ 16. Takes maybe 15 minutes. During the Christmas holidays, they’ll give you a shot of vodka and a pickle. Can you ask for anything more?

1st time: Asked for a taper and a little(emphasis on little) all around. Came out with a quasi fade. 2nd time: Gave them another chance. Asked for a taper again(low taper) and a little(emphasis on little) all around. Came out with a true fade. My idea of a haircut is not cutting it so low I see a clear difference — it is cutting it to my liking so that I can go back to you again. Barber shops are often too set in their ways. Goodbye! There won’t be a third time.

Went during lunch. Did not get anything near what I asked for. Hair all over the place. This guy was in a rush and did not take the time to make sure I was clean, was shaking and smelled like an ashtray. No straight razor. If you care about your haircut. Don’t go. If you don’t know what a good hair cut is or you just don’t care then this is your place. Really just a terrible cut. I should have walked out. So bad I went to my own barber who evened it out the best she could. Thank god my hair grows quick. Terrible terrible terrible uneven amateur haircut. TERRIBLE. Save spending the $ 15 there, buy a case of beer, drink the whole case with a friend and give them a pair of scissors and have them cut your hair. At least you’ll both have a good time and you may wind up with a better haircut.

On my way to Central Park from work, I needed to get my head shaved and I wanted an old skool style barber shop that would do it at a fair price. I was lucky enough to run across First Class Barber Shop which fulfilled both requirements. Located on the second floor of a smaller building in the area, First Class seated me right away. Their prices were quite reasonable, with a straight razor shave going for $ 20. Many shops don’t even do this type of shave anymore, so to find a place that did it without being given nasty looks or grumbling was refreshing. They did a fantastic job and followed up the shave with hot towels and lotion(as it should be). I was very happy with the service and will gladly go back again!

Just been for the first time, so wanted to write a quick review. Having just moved(work) to the neighborhood, I was looking online for a new barber. Decided to give this place a try, and came away more than satisfied. Staff all seemed very friendly despite being close to end of day on a Friday. Sam cut my hair, and in the process convinced me to take a shave, and then a face massage. All in all a very pleasant experience. Will most definitely be a regular here.

Yes, when coming here make sure to ask for Sergey. I am not sure about the haircuts given by the other barbers, but Sergey definitely has the skill and attention to detail, and he gives a great men’s haircut. I could do without the loud music while in the barber chair, but willing to overlook it given the $ 15 cost of a haircut at First Class.

Get yourself in Sergey’s chair. ‘Nuff said. He’ll take the time to make it right. And right below? Snafu Bar — open ’till 4am! Go down and show off your nice new ‘do with a few bowls of loudmouth soup. It’s a barber shop. You want a haircut? Good place to go.

This men’s barber shop did a great, quick fast and cheap job. After my normal barber shop on 2nd ave closed down, I needed to find a new one, and I was not disappointed. It’s not a high-end shop, but it gets the job done and is a good price. To give you an idea… Shampoo and cut is listed at $ 16. Hot towel face/razor shave is $ 15. Not bad…

Whatever you do, do not come here. This is by far the worst barber shop I have been to the in city. The only reason I went there was because it was close to work and cheap. The guy who cut my hair did it extremely carelessly and ended up cutting my ear and the back of neck — then smiled about it. Complete douchebag. If you feel like getting your haircut by some hoodlum who smells like stale cigarettes and just got out of juvey, come here. Otherwise, take your money elsewhere.
