I’m sure this place is great for Flamenco classes, but as a rental studio space I’d stay away! I normally don’t have a problem renting from them as it’s always done online without having to deal with people, but their system is currently undergoing renovations, which is where the problems began. I e-mailed asking for Studio B for a 1pm time slot and I was told the room was booked. I asked for 2pm, but still booked. I finally asked what time either A or B was available when the person I was dealing with snarkily replied that I should look at the calendar to figure that out. I explained that their color coding system does not help me, since I am color blind, only to be told to look at the calendar for availability, yet again. Imagine how they would’ve treated me if I had some other sort of disability. If you’re not there to help customers, then why the hell are you there at all? They just lost me as a customer and everyone I know.

This was my first exposure to flamenco dancing classes. I’ve always had great teachers. They’re professional and passionate about keeping the NYC flamenco culture alive. Olé!
