There’s an alternative to Staples. Just a small example of why to support businesses competing with big box stores: I showed up to buy laminating supplies. They were moving locations and everything was boxed up. They could have just said,“sorry we can’t help you today.” but they took time to collect all the loose sheets they could find and gave them to me in an large envelope as a courtesy. Just a nice thing to do.

Like they claim on their website, they consistently go the extra mile for our business. Just today, the owner himself ran an emergency delivery out to my office for no extra charge. In addition, they will happily take the time to get you the product you need and clearly care about their customers. These are local guys who are superb!

I work in the area and this is the first time I’ve ever stopped in Flynn’s. I always thought it looked expensive, and until recently, the Hallmark store was right across the street. It’s a tiny store(although there appeared to be a downstairs level) filled with your greeting card and gift wrap needs. I picked up two packs of greeting cards plus some Valentine’s Day stickers for $ 14. The lady at the register was also very nice and helped me find what I needed quickly so I could get in and out of there.

Good store for your basic greeting card needs… otherwise…its really expensive! I needed to get mailing labels for my invitations and I couldn’t believe my eyes when I looked at the prices… they wanted like 40 – 50 for a package of clear mailing labels. I went to neighboring Staples and paid 20. I try to stay away from this place for anything beyond a bday card… because I feel as though I’m getting ripped off with whatever I purchase. Never used their copying services, so I can’t judge whether that is expensive as well.
