Forever 21

I love all the fashion in forever 21, however, when it comes to paying, the line up is always very very long. I don’t understand how the manager manages the shop here, the upstairs cashier is almost never open. A few days ago, when the queue was really long on the ground floor, I tried to pay upstairs, and I was told that they are not going to open the cashier if you want to shop fast and pay fast this might not be the case here.

I have been regularly shopping at Forever 21 for years, and I love the brand. They have wonderful selections and a variety of styles at a decent price. I have gone into this particular Forever 21 quite a few times because I often venture off into union square with my friends. I love that this location has an additional floor because it gives you that many more options! They have a decent amount of dressing rooms, but on the weekends you may end up waiting a bit to try something on because everyones shopping here! It is always a pretty busy place. Lines to pay can often be a wait as well which can feel inconvenient. Overall, I am pretty happy with my shopping experiences here.

Nice clothes. Staff seems annoyed if you come up to the register, almost like they don’t want customers, but I know retail sucks lol. Jewelry is extremely cheap and pretty nice. Spent $ 20 on four necklaces. They have decent sales and this store is organized

Cool clothes for less. Get there early before they’re picked over. They run small or large. They have all sizes. Down side is there not made in US! Up side for me they are 100% cotton!
Some of the men’s clothes are cuter than the women’s! I wish they had my size!
I don’t like return policy. Only an exchange of credit. No refunds. You have 21 days.

This store sent me to another store to get a coat that wasn’t there. Second, TheY will not hold an item for you and if they have less then 10 of any item they say they have more, very disappointing.

I actually am really disappointed in this location. I go to this specific Forever 21 quite a lot since I’m almost always in the Union Square area. The store over all is a great place to purchase cheap clothes that are in style. Yet, based on all of my experiences here, I’ve never had one that I really liked.
First of all, they never happen to have my size. Every time I sift through a rack or pile of clothes, it’s a lot of L and XL or XS. How hard is it to keep S and M in store?
Second, the customer service is next to awful. I went in once looking for faux leather leggings, pretty basic I’d say. I asked one employee on the second floor, who directed me up stairs, and another employee upstairs who directed me downstairs. Basically everyone who works here has no idea where things are or what they’re doing. Even more so, they don’t really seem to care. Most of them just pointed me in the direction of where something could be, and I was pretty much on my own.
Lastly, every time I come in to this location, it’s always so crazy busy. As if Forever 21 is having some sort of liquidation sale, which trust me, they never will. But hey, that’s what you get for cheap (sometimes over priced) clothes.
I’ve gone to my fair share of Forever 21’s and this is one specifically that I try to avoid. I recommend you avoid it as well.

Oh jeez is this place crowded, disorganized, and what I imagine to be a shoplifter’s dream! I always want to go in because I love the clothes but I’m not conditioned to feel stress just looking at it from the park.

By far the worst customer service i have ever received in my life. I went in to return an online purchase, only to have the shirt thrown back at me by the cuntiest cashier telling me that the receipt is expired. After back and forth the manager was called, who told me that the 30 day return policy was changed a few days ago and it’s not the cashier’s fault he didn’t know. Well, that’s a lie since I purchased the shirt weeks ago and the receipt has the printed 30 day return policy so obviously it has to be at least a few weeks old. Apparently it isn’t the employee’s responsibility to be up to date on the store’s policies or to read the receipts or to listen to customers. No apology ever, I got my rightful refund.
Manager and this particular cashier should be fired. If you wonder who I’m talking about just look for the dude with the bad attitude and ugly haircut and then the manager will be the one who comes to his defense when he starts whining.

Two stories and up to date. You can usually find what you are looking for, assuming that you looked online first and then came to the store afterward to see if they have it in stock.
Even though they have registers on both floors, sometimes they only do check outs/​returns on the first floor. That creates an unnecessary large crowd on the first floor. The crowd gets worse when there are registers that ONLY takes card.
Just come in, pay, and get out. Other places to shop around the area.

Positive: Maybe to get a cheap singlet, but think about what the brand has done to bring you a cheap shirt, where was it made?
Negative: Be 110% sure on your purchase NO refunds. A very short exchange window. If your a traveller go spend your hard earned $ elsewhere coz the terrible customer service and then trying to get a different size is a huge hassle. Overall there are nicer and more hassle-​free places to shop

This is one of my favorite Forever 21 locations. Neat, not too crowded and great selection.

Great location and a large selection of items. Similar to its other chain stores, you will find an assortment of their latest clothes, accessories, etc here. The staff is great with return items and generally the wait isn’t very long.

I came here today for a simple git card purchase. Unlike some of the bigger national stores you cannot see the cards around so you don’t know where to purchase them I went to a cashier and asked for gift card of $ 50 for my niece. I asked for a receipt showing that $ 50 was on the card. The cashier told me I could just write it somewhere on the envelope (cardboard surrounding gift card). I took my card and left.

Always fun fashion finds with lots o’ bargains. Nice holiday stuff!

Back when I discovered Forever 21 as a suburban tween with guilt about making my mom spend too much on clothes, I was amazed at how cheap everything was. Then, I became a suburban teen with a minimum wage job, and I was still pleased at how many items I could purchase with my modest paycheck. I could get at least two outfits back in the day. Plus, the clothing, while not made from the best materials, were fairly durable. I still have shirts I bought from there 6 or 7 years ago – their $ 9 jeans survived quite a few washes, too, and so far are still holding up just fine.
I remember coming into the city and coming to USQ to do shopping with friends and going straight for Forever 21. The USQ location, like all locations for all stores in USQ, is big. Multiple floors, all of the sub-​brands (Love21, Heritage 1981 – my favorite, etc.) are in stock somewhere around the store. Over the years, F21 has raised their prices on regular clothing. Their basic pieces, like solid tees, camis, and leggings are still less than $ 3, but everything else is now expensive enough to create pause. This particular location is surprisingly organized, considering how big it is. Of course, it’s still pretty unorganized… Sifting through sale items is a headache, and if you’re looking for a particular color shirt, good luck. But if you’re okay with ruffling through piles or sticking to the stuff that has hangers, then it makes for a pretty stress-​free shopping trip. Then again, I’m not one to be easily scared off by messy piles.
I think the best part about this location is its location. I can appreciate a brand’s desire to match their stores to the needs of the area, and I think this one’s large windows create a much-​needed sense of space. The store is already big, but it feels bigger, making it harder to feel claustrophobic amidst the USQ crowds.
Also, their new line of workout clothes is great. I recently came here to get gym clothes last minute because I had forgotten mine at home and there was no one I could show up to a personal training session – complimentary or not – in my work clothes. F21 came through for me once more.
Even though Forever is no longer my go-​to shopping place, I will still return to stock up on beloved comfy tees and too-​short cocktail dresses.

The reason for this rating is that the cashiers ask for ID along with your credit card. The cashiers say that you must have ID to make a purchase. The «STORE POLICY» of Forever 21 is IN VIOLATION of the agreement that credit card companies make with the stores that accept their cards. Stores are allowed to ask for your ID, but ID cannot be a condition of purchase.
I don’t like how this store is duping the public.

I normally wouldn’t waste my time reviewing this store. BIG LOL, I’m not really laughing, but you know what I mean.
This place is a mess, I’d rather mingle with the 12 years old tourists at TimeSq and Herald Sq locations than this one. I’m not complaining about the selection of this store, we all know every branch store is different. But incredibly rude associates, poor customer service. I’m so sorry that your attitude reps with the price and quality this brand has to offer. Cheap and disposable.

The selection here is okay. A bit disorganized, but it is located in Union Square, so I’m not too shocked by the clutter. I prefer ordering from Forever21 online, as I can’t find most of the items I’m looking for at this location. Their selection of sizes is not that great either. I did manage to find a $ 178 dollar dress. What a bargain!

It’s open until 11pm on weekdays. As a result, I come here for a routine shopping therapy if I work late and need to see some girly things on a weekday.
Yeah I know the qualities of F21 stuffs are bad and all that, but you know, sometimes we just need to see and own a piece of adorable item to get that sense of comfort.
Anyways, believe it or not, cute things make the world go around!
