Pilates on the Square is a new pilates studio in union square that is wonderful. All the teachers I have had(Jr Macagnone, Angeline and Hadas) are caring, patient and explain each step carefully. They are also knowledgeable. It is close to several subways so it’s easy to get as well. Classes are small, between 4 – 5. All the equipment is new. The studio is bright, with a ton of windows, allowing in natural sunlight. It is also clean. They also Gyrotonic. 1. There are cups for filtered water and tea. 2. There is also a small changing area that can accommodate one person. 3. There are no lockers but there are 2 coat racks and shoe racks. — Noga Delshad

FORM Pilates will kick your butt and make you excited to come back for more! Lindsay doesn’t miss a beat — meaning you can’t cheat, and you don’t want to because working out with her is so much fun! Every adjustment she made intensified my workout — I hope this means quicker and more noticeable results! Her attention to detail doesn’t stop at her body awareness. This might be the prettiest pilates studio I’ve ever been to! From the towels that are used wipe down the equipment, to the vase of snap dragons at the front desk, Lindsay hasn’t missed a single detail. Even tbs bathroom is stocked with everything you could EVER need including hair ties and cool cucumber face wipes. All of the equipment is brand new and designed by Basil. It is gorgeous shades of grey and super comfy. When I stretched out on the Cadillac, I literally felt like I was on a tempurpedic mattress! All of this would be enough to lull you into a state of lethargy, but luckily, Lindsay will be there to get you working. She is one of the best instructors I’ve ever worked with and I’ll definitely be back for more!
