Love this store and everything I buy from them. They are the most helpful and attentive staff and I couldn’t be more happy. What I like the most is they help and stay with me while trying clothes on and give honest feedback. Not to mention they take the time to pull things they think that I will like even if I passed them by and it ends up they are usually always right! So helpful for an unfashionable girl like me!

Sales people were very uncooperative in resolving the fact they charged my daughter’s debit card for $ 175 without selling her the shirt and would not credit the debit card. Outrageous service behavior.

I came to the store today(Saturday, august 1⁄2015) — there were 0 customers and 2 salespersons who were having a conversation with each other. The taller one took some time — 10 – 15 seconds to finish the conversation all while I was standing there waiting to be helped because I wanted a specific item i saw in window. She then finally approached me, already visibly annoyed. I asked if they had jeans with 35″ inseam. She said they only carried«standard» lengths inseam and that they did not have a 35″ inseam jeans. I showed at the jeans on the table and pointed out that they seems pretty long. She said that THOSE jeans they DID have in 35″ inseam. I said i just asked you if you had this length, and you said you didn’t. She pretty much started yelling at me. So, she’s not very bright, plus a has bad temper, plus she hates her job, plus she’s rude. Why even come to this store!!!

I do have to say that you have beautiful pieces, however I will never again shop in this store. I recently went here and I have never in my life felt so judged. I am a Hispanic woman and I went in admiring your pieces, there was a sales associate there. I believe she was a brunette, dark blonde ish girl, and she only paid attention to the other Caucasian customer in the store. She never greeted me, never asked if I wanted help and I just walked around the store. Does your associate not know that she is in NYC, the most diverse capital of the world? Does she not know that we love to spend money regardless of our race? Clearly she has some deep rooted racism and she should not be working retail at all. If I cared a little bit more I would take this issue up with your corporate offices but I’m just leaving a review in hopes that management will care. I was going to buy some items but after the treatment that I received by your ignorant sales associate I won’t spend a dime in this store.

Love this place! I finally popped in after living across the street for a year and a half. Why it took me so long is beyond me. I am now kicking myself for not going sooner. I was pressed for time and needed something for my husbands birthday that night. The sales girl was so fun an helpful. She pulled all sorts of things, and I loved every item. They have great occasion dresses, jeans, sweaters, leggings, jumpsuits, rompers, jewelry, shoes, clutches, and even men’s clothes! Some of the stuff is a little bit on the pricier side, but it’s worth it if you want something special. I ended up buying a fabulous printed tunic/dress and received so many compliments at my husbands party. I can’t wait to go back!

Not one of my favorites, especially considering the wealth of boutiques on third going north from 34th. Like a few other reviewers said, this place is lacking in customer service– although my friend and I were able to get one of the sales associates attention, she seemed very inclined to sell us on only the most expensive items in the store. Frankly I don’t think the quality justifies the $ 300+ price tags on some of the pieces. That being said, I have found a few cute items on sale here($ 450 shoes reduced to $ 50!) and was given a discount on accessories, which I thought was extremely nice. I’ll continue to stop by here every few months just to see what they’ve got in, but if you are short on time, I think there are just better boutiques in the area.

Had a great shopping experience here. Outstanding customer service aswell as the cutest and most unique pieces. I have never left French corner dissatisfied and without a shopping bag in my hand. I recommend this store to woman and men for they have a very broad selection from top designer jeans and dresses to some unusual European fashions. A+

Excellent array of name brand clothing, both new and on-sale items, but their pieces in each size are seriously limited. At first, I found the service to be very cold — both of the older women behind the counter were not helpful and spent the whole time I was in there gossiping. When I asked them a question, one shook her head like I was speaking Swahili and pointed to the other lady, who gave me an abrupt answer. However, the beautiful, petite woman who appeared out of nowhere and ended up starting my fitting room and ringing me up was sweet and attentive. Prices are high, but what you’d expect given that they carry names like Twelfth St. I’ll be back, and hope they have more pieces in stock next time.

On July 16th2011 at 7:10PM a woman that was later discovered to be «managing» the store displayed very disgusting and discriminating behaviors to me and a girlfriend. She was unprofessional, biased and ignorant. A good friend and I walked into the store casually dressed after having looked in the store while at a stop light. With me having been home a few days on leave from deployment I wanted some more flattering attire. I walked into the store ready to purchase a few items that caught my eye, without so much as a greeting from staff, otherwise receiving stern stares as though I was dirt off the street and I disgusted them. I ignored that thinking it would pass once they seen the Gucci wallet I gripped, while dressed in a flattering BCBG shirt and jeans and the Lanvin jumpsuit my girlfriend was sporting with her Louis Vitton hobo bag she held close to her body; that well we were fashionable savvy shoppers. My girlfriend a well to do business owner in midtown, continued to peruse as well. I was followed by the manager, everything I touched she moved into another location. As I looked for my size she over shadowed me, never offering to provide assistance.(she gathered her staff by the register and made a comment I could not hear and make no assumption however the movement immediately after that upset me more) I continued to browse as my girlfriend and I looked around together she stated very loud I am closing soon, however no motion had been made to lock the door before, during or after our departure(the door remained unlocked I stood out-front and discussed my experience with an older woman who was looking inside the store as she asked what was wrong 15min later the store was still open at 7:45pm). The only difference between the women who’d left the store as I walked in, the woman purchasing an item as I was looking through the store and the two of us is the color of our skin. I am a deployed Solder proud of what I do, protecting this country is what I was born to do. I lived in NYC all my life besides being deployed; I have shopped in stores from Gucci uptown to Daffy’s, Macy’s, and Kmart right down to street vendors. To be treated with such disrespect is reprehensible. I say to anyone even considering making a purchase at this establishment«think twice!» The female Manager that treated me this way was confronted. I wanted to know what made her feel her behavior was acceptable and that it would be tolerated. She dismissively stated that she was closing, and had done nothing wrong that she knew not of what I was speaking. Well after giving a complete account of my experience, and informing her of the blog I would indeed write and announcing my girlfriends establishment here in Manhattan her body language and tone changed, she questioned«Is there anything I can do to make this up to the two of you I am so sorry?» My girlfriend asked her«what are you sorry about if you’d in fact done nothing wrong as you previously stated?» She continued to say how sorry she was. My true belief and feeling is that she was not remorseful for her action and how it left us to feel. She was afraid of the backlash that the report of her behavior to the general public and possibly the owner would produce. I was left mortified by this entire experience. I am not on a campaign to attack this business, but am addressing the treatment and lack of customer service that the staff of this establishment is evidentially allowed to provide customers. You do not know who you are providing a service too, I am a decorated Soldier and a citizen of this country — how dear you treat me this way– I am disgusted by her behavior. She called herself the Manager. She needs more training — INDEED! SHAME! SHAME! SHAME! Never judge a book by its cover further, the color of one’s skin doesn’t speak to the money that one has in his/her possession. You lost the store profit because of your repugnant behavior. I am a soldier for the best country in the world; I provide the blanket of protection that you and your family ran from your country here to sleep under. How dear you. I am posting my experience in my unit’s Newsletter and have expressed my concern to many of my friends and vow never to shop at your establishment again. Someone needs to correct your behavior before you cost that business a great deal of money and possible a lawsuit.
