A very reliable UWS pan-Asian restaurant. My go-to on a Friday night with friends after work. Very good quality food, staff are efficient and it’s good value.

Lovely! I liked the experience of sitting outside and having early dinner. I had pineapple fried rice, a curry beef appetizer(I don’t remember the exact name). I liked the presentation and the taste. The portions were big enough as well. I will go there again when in the area.

This place has horrible food. The costumer service is great, but it was not edible. Way too oily, and sushi was not fresh. Don’t order from here.

Great dinner once again! I loved the green curry with vegetables and the crab puffs for appetizer.

4÷7÷15 Service and food were great. My new favorite roll is Sweet Valentine. We had an opportunity to discuss the move with several employees and they’re as unhappy as we are that this neighborhood gem has been hit with an increase in rent.

One of the best places EVER! If you are looking for a nice cozy spot on Upper West side — Fusha West is the place to go. Conveniently located at the corner of 75 th and Amsterdam, Fusha West offers a unique blend of Asian fusion cuisine, Japanese favorites and other delicious dishes. Among my favorites there are pad-thai and crispy walnut chicken. A lovely atmosphere in addition with super nice service always makes my experience at Fusha unforgettable!

My go-to for sushi takeout and delivery. Sushi is always fresh and delicious. Delivery is normally at my apartment before the time estimate. I plan to continue to order from here when I’m in the mood for Japanese!

Came here one night after work with the BF. We walked in and were led through a hallway type area and into the rear dining room where we were offered a table outside or inside; we sat inside. Right when we walked in we noticed the strong smell of bleach, and it is great to know that the place gets cleaned but it isn’t the most pleasant smell to have lingering around when you’re trying to eat. But I will say that the place did look squeaky clean. The service was OK, we had to wait a while for our server sometimes to get our drinks refilled but other than that it fine. As far as the food goes it really wasn’t anything special. It is like a contemporary take on Japanese food or like a fusion, which we just weren’t into. The more traditional Japanese items were good, but overpriced in regards to the quality and what you can get at another Japanese restaurant nearby. Fusha West isn’t bad, but not something I’d be rushing to try again soon.

Nothing terrible, nothing special, from my perspective. Sushi set was $ 21.95 or so, which is decent value for Manhattan, but I feel that for $ 25 – 27 you can get much more authentic and fresh cuts. It’s amazing how tight the pricing disparity is between sushi restaurants in Manhattan — makes sense given how much of the cost structure is due to the high real estate cost(commercial rental) and labor.

Wow! I’m amazed at how good the food I had was! If u go(which you should), order the Tropical Mango Chicken. It has a little heat but its great. I wish I left some for home, but I ate it all. Oops. Anyway, this place is really nice and its big so they usually have room. In a word, mind-blowing!

When we first walked in, the overwhelming smell of BLEACH took us over. We asked about it and the hostess/waitress(she was doing some of everything) told us they’d just cleaned. Okay, I get that, but the smell of bleach is NOT a pleasant smell in an eatery. The service was MASSIVELY slow and we werent’ the only ones that notcied it. The tables around us also kept asking about taking orders and./or where was their order. Patrons should NOT have to get out of their seats to get the wait-staff’s attention to take an order not ask about the status of their order. The lady who sat us seemed to be irritated that she had to take orders, wait on tables, and seat people. Not really the patron’s issue and the attitude should not be blasted on the patrons. The sushi rolls were underwhelming. Nothing special or fantastic. Just regular olé spicy tuna and salmon. They did have gluten-free soy sauce. I can’t say I’d return nor run to eat here, again.

Went here on Sunday before seeing Kevin James at the Beacon. Heard some good reviews, and it was close by. I have to say — what a great decision. The food was excellent, and it was QUICK! I mean really quick. I’m always nervous trying to grab food before a show, but this was a piece of cake. And the food and drinks were fantastic. I’ll definitely be back here next time I am in the neighborhood, or next time I see a show at the Beacon

Though some people love to hate the place they once worked I’d have to agree I’m one of them. Don’t judge I’m human! You can see where this is going as I used to work for Fusha. If it’s anyone that knows a restaurant well it’s someone that knows the ins and outs. While working there I absolutely fell in love with the food. Everything from the cooked dishes to the raw food it was purely amazing. The décor is also very nice. I mean the bathroom walls are made out of Mahjong tiles. The service is also quite superb because it’s a team effort more than every man for themselves. The food in general is pretty awesome. I remember whenever leaving to go home I would wanna bring back a dish for my parents and can never seem to just picks just one. The lunch specials are really good since it comes with shumai, soup AND salad. I also remember everything we served was always really fresh. It would get really popular at lunch and dinner time. The prices are a little pricier but it is the upper west side so that’s expected. The dishes I would highly recommend is: Guacamole with Spicy Tuna and Wasabi Chips — Great if you love avocado, Honey Glazed Pecan & Walnut Chicken — So crispy and yummy, Fried Flounder with sweet Chili sauce — extremely tender. The Sushi bar is also super fresh with their Galapagos Roll and Lady Lobster Roll. I’d like to visit every now and then just to enjoy the food. I’m always welcomed back and they really take care of me and my friends. I always joke around that I got treated better as a customer than when I worked there but that should say that they have really good customer service. Hope that was helpful!

My friend and I had dinner/drinks at Fusha last Saturday, and we both had a great time! Love, love, love the atmosphere(we sat outside), the service was great(if you’ve read my past reviews, you know I hate feeling rushed and our waiter was more than happy to let us stay as long as we wanted), and the sushi/drinks were delicious. I wish I could remember what we ordered, but I guess I had one too many Gin Blossoms… I’ll definitely be back if I’m in the area.

This place was pretty good. The fish was very fresh on a Friday night. The appetizers and most of the entrees were very creative. The guacamole and spicy tuna was utterly delicious. The rolls were relatively generic, but the freshness made the meal count. The food was moderately pricy especially the salads. The service, though very polite, needed to be trained better. You don’t plop down menus and utensils in a pile and expect us to distribute them accordingly through the table. :-/

Best sushi rolls I’ve had in a while. The seaweed salad was crisp and delicious. Great atmosphere for a meeting or a date. Highly recommend.

Fusha West was excellent from start to finish: our drinks were strong and good(nice flavor to the Green Tea Martini!), which prepped us for an outstanding meal to come. After the always-good edamame, our appetizer of Steamed Vegetable Dumplings was flavorful, and the Rock Shrimp Tempura was unlike any other I’ve had before: besides the tasty, spicy sauce of the shrimp, it was served on a bed of jicama slaw and greens, which was awesome! Next up were our sushi rolls, classic Spicy Tuna was fresh and the special Lady Lobster Roll was very good, presented with the lobster tail shell on top! The perfect complement to our rolls was the Thai Pineapple Basil Rice, and our server was extra accommodating of my date’s nut allergies, recommending the basil and checking with the kitchen for any other allergic ingredients. When the rice came out with a hollowed out pineapple on top, we both grabbed our smartphones for the photo op! LOL We finished by sharing a delicious cream brulee, which was just enough for two. The ambiance of the restaurant was nice; it was fairly busy for a Monday night, and it appeared to be a neighborhood crowd. All of the hosts/servers/bus people were really nice and efficient; we didn’t wait or want for anything.(Oh, and special nod to the bathroom; I was highly entertained at the mah jongg-tiled walls, and yes, pulled out my camera in there, too!) We had a great dinner, were stuffed afterward, and the buzz from the yummy drinks had us feeling very nice upon leaving Fusha West!(The rest of holiday shopping after dinner was a whole different scene!) I would def return to try some other menu items that looked interesting, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for good, fresh sushi, strong drinks and a laid-back vibe.

Buffalo chicken and spicy tuna, together at last. That’s the Buffalo Roll($ 14), just one of the many funky combinations from the huge variety of great special rolls they have here. The other really out there one I tried, the Galapagos Roll($ 14), was also great: avocado tempura, mozzarella cheese, crunchy, spicy mayo, wrapped in seared salmon, jalapeño and red onions. We also tried the Golden Dragon Roll($ 13), which was more normal(eel and avocado wrapped in mango and topped with caviar), but actually wasn’t quite as tasty as most other dragon rolls I’ve tried. Aside from sushi and special rolls, this place has a massive menu with a ton of other choices of different kinds of Asian fusion type foods. We got steamed pork dumplings as a starter($ 8 for 5), which were decent enough but nothing different than your standard dumplings. The other starter we got was great though: the Guacamole with Spicy Tuna and Wasabi Chips($ 13). My only complaint was there weren’t nearly enough chips. They give you 6 chips with a huge mound of spicy tuna and a huge portion of guacamole, so you are left with way too much of that delicious stuff left over with nothing to scoop it up with. The atmosphere in here is really nice too — I came a little earlier on a Friday night, but you can imagine it gets hopping later on at night. They also have a very large area for outside seating in the front as well. This is a great option for a nice meal in this area. I would definitely return here as there is a huge menu with several good-looking options left to explore.
