So disappointed in your services and the way your employees treat your customers! All I wanted to do was make a simple return. Instead I go in there and I have your employee telling me he won’t accept my return although it’s eligible because there’s not a manager around to do so. I explained that I would wait and he proceeds to tell me that even if a manager was to be in the store that he would have to call the district manager in order to process a return for me. I explained that I didn’t understand why and he says that I should save his manager a phone call and try to return it at the store in which j purchased it which is no where near me. My expiration date for return is near and he said that was not his problem and that I would have to take it up with the original store. This was such an embarrassing experience for me and to be denied service at the store especially when none of what this employee was saying to me was written in the policy that I had him review with me. His response is that«it’s a new thing». So disappointed and embarassed! #Neveragain

Yikes. Go to one of the other locations in the city if you need a gamestop. They close early, take forever to respond to requests, and don’t keep good track of their stock. First time I went, I admittedly cut it close to closing, but the manager had already locked the door and closed the gate at 5 to. He insisted it was past the hour, even when I showed him my clock on my cell and asked to see his after knocking. Annoyed, I came back the next day, and the used game their inventory showed online was nowhere. The poor(very nice, actually) guy who helped me ran around for 20 minutes, eventually finding it in an unlabeled box somewhere in the back.

If there was ever a time or a place for 0 stars, this GameStop deserves it. Came here on a Saturday night hoping to get two cheap wii games. Got the box for legend of Zelda twilight princess for the GF after literally mining through unorganized shelves and trivial pursuit. Then we headed in line. Three customers took over 20 minutes to service. We should have been warned when both customers ahead of us didn’t get their games. We should have been warned when one cashier was too busy on his phone trying to talk to his bae(fuck you if you use that term unironically). We should have been warned when one cashier tried to sell a membership to one guy for over 15 minutes. Our turn came. No Legend of Zelda. My quest to turn my girlfriend to a gamer failed. But the bigger failure is gamestop. With digital downloads available on most platforms and Amazon’s superiority, there is literally almost no reason to go to gamestop anymore. I spent my childhood at EB games and my teen years at GameStop. It’s too bad my favorite game store hasn’t grown up like the average gamer has. The cashier asked me after all of this if I wanted to renew my membership. I don’t think I will and I recommend you don’t either.

This is by far the worst gamestop I’ve ever been to. There were three people working and roughly 10 people in the store. In spite of this, I waited 20 minutes in line to be told that the staff couldn’t find the game I had picked off the shelf. Both customers in front of me had similar experiences and left without buying anything. If you don’t actually have the game in stock, don’t put the box on the shelf — it’s that simple! And don’t tell the customet that you looked as hard as you could for the game when you spent 10 minutes talking to a different customer and not looking for the game. There were two staff members assisting one customer, rather than splitting the load. Then, despite there being 6 people in line, one of the staff members took out his cell phone to start talking on it, discover there was no service, and head into the back room. This place needs some serious reorganization or maybe to hire people who are actually willing to work rather than just chat to one another. Will never be going here again, ordering games from Amazon from now on.

Checked their weekly hours to make sure they would be open. Turns out they closed an hour and a half early. As they were still closing up they just stared at me through the door. Didn’t offer to help. No explanation. They just randomly close whenever they want rather than keep their posted hours. Quality.

I hope I didn’t experience the«norm» when I entered this game stop. My friend tried to purchase a used game and we waited on line for 30 minutes while two people tried to help a customer with her trade-in. Logically you’d think one person would check out the rest of the customers when the line is 10+ people long. We left without buying our item, and it seemed like others were going to likely do the same. Doesn’t sound like a sustainable business model to me!

This might have the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Employees wander off and forget you exist, are rude and think nothing of wasting your time. Avoid at all costs until they get their acts together.

Good customer service in this place although avoid the late night weekends where it gets packed and long lines. The used games are so worth the cheap prices and you can exchange it or return for cash back within 7 days purchase. You can also trade in old electronics like ipods, iphones or other game equipments for equivalent stuff or cash.

Stopped in to buy a fitness game for the Wii. Went to the checkout, and there were four people in line, with no cashier in sight… tick, tick, tick. There was a guy sitting behind a desk on the other side of the store, so I asked if he could help us. «She’s looking for something in the back, try being patient,» was his curt response. I put the game back, went home, and ordered it from Amazon…$ 4 cheaper, no shipping… overnight delivery. If you’re going to try to compete with online stores, you’re going to have to focus on customer service!

This is the best Gamestop I’ve been to. It is huge, has lots of demos and had a fantastic system for the Starcraft 2 release that had me out the door with my copy at 12:02. That said it’s still a Gamestop. No. I don’t want to pre-order anything. No. I don’t want insurance on my game or system. No. I don’t want to join your club to receive $X more when I sell you back a game that cost me $ 60 a week ago for $ 15. WHATDOYOUMEANYOU’RESOLDOUT? Everyone is sold out? Funny, I just called Best Buy and they have 45 copies left… /sigh

This place is reliable for having the hot new release the day of release when you want it. They’ll take advance orders and the staff knows their stuff.(Something tells me they would work there for free in exchange for free access to the merchandise). Send your man here if you need some time to yourself… :)
