I had to write a review for this ophtamologist. Apparently he is also one of the few doctors specializing in electrolysis of the eyelashes in New York City. I was referred to him by my opthamologist who didn’t have the options to treat my condition. The first thing I noticed, when walking into the 11th floor of Weill-Cornell is how CIVILIZED the waiting room and the staff were(compared to the many other doctor’s waiting rooms). There were a few patients scattered around, no lines, no rowdy children, a few workers humming about behind the desks, no one looking tense. The carpeted, extremely large room, was decorated in light taupe, greens, and purples and had a the feel of a quiet hotel lobby. I arrived 5 – 10 minutes before my appointment, check-in was fast. I was called in at EXACTLY my appointment time(during both of my appointments). Dr. Lelli is patient, listens, and explains things thoroughly. During the procedure, he ensures that you are comfortable and he’s vocal about what he’s doing and if any pain you’ll be feeling. The appointments are amazingly quick and thorough. It’s very refreshing, after being bounced around to different opthamolgists who couldn’t solve my problem. Plus, he also takes my not-so-great health insurance. I have a follow-up appointment and will see how things go from there.
