Good Dish

We came right at noon for lunch and were very happy with the low key yet classy ambiance, as well as the food itself. My Thai shrimp salad was excellent with a light yet decadent peanut dressing and fresh shrimp. My friend loved her tuna salad sandwich, which came with a side of sliced cucumbers. Service was great and the setting is perfect for a lunch with your girlfriends, since it is right on the Beauty level. To be perfectly honest, I would estimate that about 95% of the patrons were female, if not 100%. The seating is not very spacious but that’s almost part of the attraction. While it wasn’t very busy around noon, it did start filling up shortly after and was full by 12:45 pm, so definitely get here earlier rather than later.

Once again at my happy lunch place. I am just eating my way through this pregnancy. Even 35 lbs later, I enjoy some healthy food every now and then.

–cup of soup of the day or soup (which case I had the black bean with bacon)
–½ chicken salad sandwich on whole wheat
–small mesculin salad — I had to beg them to top with cheese because I simply cannot do a boring green salad alone unless the dressing is killer.
–small side of chopped cucumbers
Oh, their cappuccinos are awesome, add a little cinnamon and you won’t need dessert!
