I have taken two classes at GQ, both with co-owner Andrea. She is an amazing teacher, attentive to her students but very laid back at the same time. Her color/palette sensibility is incredible; I love discussing fabric options with her. I now take classes just as an excuse to make time for working on a specific project and it is great to do it at GQ! Their space is cozy but big enough for piecing and laying out quilts. The machines are placed just in front of their fabric bolts so if you need anything, your stash is just there! I have a couple more classes coming up and can’t wait!
