Graphic Lab Printing

Chris is the MAN! Needed a few graphic designs printed on large stickers. Chris was patient, super friendly, had the graphics resized, and printed in ten minutes. Just a side note, Graphic Lab Printing is on the fourth floor of the 228 building.

Went in with a rush request and was doubtful they could get it done. Met Rich. And like a superstar he provided his guidance and not only was he able to get it done in no time at all, i am ecstatic with the end result!
Thank you Rich for coming thru for us. We will be wearing our singlets this Sunday as we run the NYC half marathon with our names printed in pink… I mean «raspberry» and mom’s name on our back!

I’ve been a client of Graphic Lab for many years. I wanted to thank them for their great service which is the reason for this review.
Recently, Rich helped me with several projects that of course had deadlines… Not only was he extremely helpful both technically and creatively preventing my having extra costs and delays which other firms would likely charge for, he delivered an exceptional product.
I’ve know Rich and Carmine for many years and know their firm to be professional and, used to working in a NYC fast paced environment. The fact they’ve been my go to place for many years is a testament to their reputation.

Graphic Lab saved my ass! My boss expects things done and does not want excuses even when its almost impossible to do. I needed to get some T shirts printed for a VIP person asap all on a Friday. I only found out about what was to be printed at 7.30pm last Thursday and needed them Friday EOD. This isn’t just about getting some print on t shirts, it needed to look professional and not cheap.
My boss selected to print jpegs off google images. I am not a technical person and did not even forsee any tech issues with doing this. I desperately turned to graphic lab which seemed to have great reviews for printing as we didn’t want any iron on cheap looking stuff.
I did originally almost go with another place but they were not clear about their process and when I found out at 7.30pm they do iron on’s I was stranded. I called Graphic lab and was given rich’s email by the after hours guy.
(I did read about these reviews about Rich but in my desperation did not remember when I got Rich’s email, probably would not have made a difference as I needed help)
I emailed Rich straight away and explained what I needed and if I could have them by friday eod, Rich patiently emailed me till 9pm that night and explained what i needed to do. The following morning I sent Rich the email and called him and he told me that the Jpeg images are poor quality and cannot be blown up which I had not thought about.
My boyfriend who was witnessing my panic in the morning, told me I had to vector the images, just as I was googling how to do that Rich emailed me back and told me that he had already vectorised one image and would do the other also if I wanted. THANK GOD FOR RICH! Because I don’t have any application that could do that. Rich had told me he needed everything by 9am to have it completed by EOD. It was now 10am and my boss just wanted this stuff done as he had promised said VIP person that he would have these t shirts day before.
I then asked Rich about what t shirts they had as online they have a huge array of brands and in store not so much. When I realised they wouldn’t work I asked if he would allow me to go buys some and bring to him. He said Yes, no ifs or buts.
By the time I got to him it was 1pm (well after 9am) I explained how I wanted them, and he had already made a perfect size of the image. The image looked amazing! We spoke briefly about it and he said I could pick up after 5pm.
All I could do was hope this guy was amazing and that these t shirts would blow our minds. I picked up at 5pm and took them to my boss. He was so blown away by how professional they looked. Our VIP guy wore it on his TV appearance the next night, both t shirts.
Rich you saved me, you have no idea how happy my boss was. You also have a customer for life. I was shocked to see people have apparently had a bad experience. Not sure why, as you gave me advice told me what I needed, answered my emails after hours, created amazing t shirts and mostly you were patient. I don’t know what else to say. Maybe people don’t understand New Yorkers and their New York attitude and take offense very easily. I’m Australian and for some reason we clicked.

Tried very hard to give them my business, but due to the poor professionalism and arrogant attitude of the specialist Rich Campisi, I have decided to take my business elsewhere. They do not want you to waste their time with questions or discussion about a request– and if you ask for clarity you will make them very, very angry. They may do great work, but I wouldn’t know, is it really worth it to deal with such miserable people? Good luck and beware.

I called Graphic Lab Printing to inquire about pricing. I said that I was interested in having a small logo custom screen printed on t-​shirts and would just like a ballpark guide to how much this might cost. The man that I spoke with seemed angered by my inquiry and said he did not like to give any pricing range. I said that I knew I would be looking to screen print a small logo with two colors on the front of a small quantity of t-​shirts, and I asked if there was any other info that I could provide to help him give me a broad estimate. He said to me, «You want broad pricing that makes no sense.» Then he hung up on me.

Incredible work by an incredible team! We called up Rich when we needed a must-​have last-​minute order and he totally delivered! The job came out better than we could’ve ever hoped and at a price that couldn’t be beat by any other shop in town. Will definitely be returning soon.

Carmine is the best. I was in a huge rush and told him what I needed over the phone and he got everything printed for me in under an hour.

I can’t sing enough praises about Graphic Lab Printing. I needed two, very large posters for a business event, and Carmine made the process seamless. He was extremely communicative of any concerns, ideas, or details that he had over the project, which gave me the reassurance to trust Graphic Lab, and allowed me to focus on other aspects of the event. The finished posters were perfect. We had many guests compliment the clarity of the poster images, as well as the overall high quality of work. I will definitely turn to Graphic Lab for all our future promo needs.

Spoke with a gentleman named Rich who was so off-​putting on the phone, I immediately looked elsewhere for my print job. Tone is everything. Treat your customers with respect. Warmth and patience goes a long way when you’re looking to acquire new business!

I needed a poster for a scientific conference, but hadn’t completed it until last minute. I emailed late at night, and graphic lab printing gave me a quote the next morning. They printed the poster for me in a few hours and delivered it to my apartment, since I was working long shifts and couldn’t make it down. And the poster was gorgeous!

Had a similar experience as a couple other people with their ridiculous salesman. I walked into their office and got a slightly weird vibe from the receptionist, a sort of «why are you here?» feeling. She passed me off to the salesman, who cranked that vibe up to 11.
Well, here’s why I’m here, doofus: I need something printed and this is a print shop. I had a few PDF files on a thumb drive that I wanted printed on 8.5×11 paperboard that I had brought in (not a crazy ask) and I asked him if there was a printing method that might turn out better than the sample I had brought in for him to look at. He asked me how the sample was printed and I said I wasn’t sure since the print office at my job had printed it for me. He got a bit huffy, and said «how am I supposed to know if our printer will work better than theirs?» I explained I just wanted to know if his print shop had a printer/​ink that could produce more vibrant color and/​or a slightly more substantial looking ink than the sample that I had brought in. I assumed they had a couple different types of printers, at least inkjet and laser. He looked at me like I was insane. So I said, «do you have more than one kind of printer? Maybe inkjet or laser or some other method?» And he just said «No.» He then said it was going to cost $ 40 to print FIVE SHEETS of paper, so I said, can you print just one? He printed two (no idea why), then came out and told me it was $ 16 and asked if I was going print all 5. I said no, that’s a ridiculous price, took out my credit card to pay for the two, and he said «You know what, forget it. It’s on the house.» and walked away.
Really strange, bizarre, uncomfortable experience. If you go to this printer, DO NOT go in person.

Their displays are really cool which was why i decided to give this store a try but Guy named Chris was being very impatient. i was gonna put in a small order for one poster and at the end I decided not to spend $ 95 on it. Chris said i wasted his time when my entire stay there was really only less than 10 min long. Customers change their mind all the time and it can happen any minute. Maybe I walked in on a bad day but that attitude there is really unprofessional.

The person I spoke to on the phone was incredibly rude and hanged up on me. I used this place in the past but I will be sure not to use them anymore. It looks like they dislike making money if they treat customers like this.

I found them via Unilocal!Great work, quality service, fast quick service. What I really like is the honesty. I needed envelopes for my invite I was having printed and my rep offered up some but told me I could probably find them cheaper since it was a standard size. I was going to get my own anyway because I needed a custom color but I really appreciated him being upfront with me.

I needed a fashion design portfolio printed (about seventeen 11×14 pages) and wanted something more quality than Staples or FedEx Office. I went on a Friday evening around 6pm. I didn’t actually need my print-​outs until the following week and was prepared to have to come back to pick them up but Rich asked if I wanted to wait and get them right away. They had a really nice selection of quality papers, including environmentally friendly recycled. I only had to wait about 10 minutes and the quality of the prints came out terrific. Rich was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend Graphic Lab to anyone needing quality and professional printing services done.

I live and work in Chicago and was working on a set of brochures to be printed and sent to New York for a two day event. My printer here in Chicago had given me the run-​around and was not getting back to me on a regular basis until it was too late. I called Carmine at Graphic Lab the day of the event in hopes he could have everything printed and delivered that day.
Due to a response issue on my end I wasn’t able to get the forms in that day and by the time I had any info for him the first day of the event was over, my fault entirely. But Carmine was EXTREMELY patient with me as I had to call back a number of times with questions and information for him. So mad props to him for that.
I called him the next day at 6:00am Chicago time/7:00am New York time, and he was there expecting my call from the email I sent the night before. He was able to print and deliver my brochures right away and have them delivered. He also was still wonderfully patient with me attempting to get him in contact with the event coordinator. He went above and beyond trying to get a hold of her. The brochures were delivered and I was told by the event staff they turned out beautifully.
Any negative reviews on Unilocal seem to have been the fault of the consumer and were incredibly harsh on their rating. I wasn’t even physically able to see them and they showcased some of the best customer service I have ever seen. Carmine and Graphic Lab were an absolute pleasure to work with and I will most definitely be using the again if the opportunity arises.

I was told to leave the premises when I asked for some small samples of their colored vinyl, to match to various logo colors. This is after I had submitted art by email and been told by email that the firm «does not have exact color matches», and made a next day early morning trip to the store to discuss the color output with the salesman. If he had have explained that the company has factory-​made colored vinyl, and does not inkjet print onto white vinyl, I would have brought PANTONE color information with me on my early morning visit. But as I had not been informed, I simply asked for a few small slivers of the colored vinyl so that we could match back in the office.
Why was I told to leave the premises by the salesman? Because, he yelled at me, I was being «huffy». This was after he allowed me to witness him haranguing a co-​worker over a quotation issue. Anyway, I’m not one to waste time on lost causes, so I told the gentleman I’ll see him on Unilocal and turned to leave. As I was walking out his door he yelled after me that I was the one who was huffy and I should get the hell out of there.
So, not a great experience at Graphic Lab, but I’m sure the quality of their output is good. They really have to work on calming their bully sales guy down though. He’s a liability.

I cannot say enough positive things about Graphic Lab! This is by far the best printing lab in NYC, and trust me, as a print designer, I have tried MANY! The staff is so friendly and helpful, and extremely knowledgeable. The printing quality is impeccable, honestly this is the most professional you can get. The service is the quickest turn around I have ever had, and the prices are very reasonable.
The other day I had a last minute project I finished at 3am and needed printed and ready to go for a presentation by 10.30am and at 8am I called CJ and he was able to make it happen… and it looked phenomenal!!!
Graphic Lab is the only way to print!
