I do not recommended this agency. I quit my job after knowing i secured an interview. Went to the interview, discovered it was an agency and not just an employer.. Cool. Took my drug test… had to ask how my results were instead of getting an email from my rep, jessa niemeyer. Then i had to take an assessment… also had to ask how i scored… when told she called me saying «you actually passed»…as if she assumed i wasnt going to. After i was done with my assignment, i was told she would find me another.. which never happened. She stopped responding to my emails so i was never able to set a date for an interview with an employer that was interested in me. Wish i would have dealt with another rep who was actually professional and wanted to place employees on assignments .
All in all, if you do come to this agency, don’t expect anything professional.
And don’t expect to be assigned to other jobs, it probably won’t happen. And expect to badger for updates on everything other wise you wont get any

I worked with Alexis Ackerman on a search and would recommend her to any one seeking to get placed in the perfect role fit for you, in a quick time frame! Alexis was on top of everything and really catered to the types of roles I was looking for. She was available to talk to me before 7 am, after 8 pm — basically any time that I could chat, she responded! She prepped me for every interview, and constantly kept me updated on new roles. Alexis really helped me through the process and I felt she truly had my best interests in mind the whole time.

Only gave one star because we have too. Long Island office is horrible the same as every other ‘recruiter’ out there. I’m not even sure how they earn a living if all they want is your contact info and never follow up! Run don’t walk!

Steph set me up with a no-​show interview. She sent me the info for a phone screen with one of their clients. I waited around but the client never called. Even though I’ve reached out to Steph, she won’t communicate. No idea why the client didn’t call or why Steph won’t submit me for anything else. Just a stonewall of being ignored. Buyer beware!

I have been working with them for the last couple years on temp jobs and they have been great. They are very professional and have lots of contacts in the industry. I would recommend them to anyone. Its great to have their help.

Charlotte has been a breath of fresh air when ive been getting mobbed by recruiters that blast me with random roles that have nothing to do with my resume. She has been quite personable and attentive. She took time to get to know me, my work experience, career goals, therefore tailoring the proper role to pair me with. I will be sure to work with her going forward should I find myself looking for a new opportunity in the future.

Regina Gatti helped me find an amazing job that I’m really interested in! She was also extremely supportive during the whole interview process, and was incredibly quick at replying to all of my questions/​e-​mails. I’m so glad I worked with them.

Of all the recruiters I’ve worked with (and I’ve worked with quite a few) she was the one who landed me the most interviews during my job search (at least a dozen) and eventually helped me land the job where I currently am at now. She is both tenacious and great at helping candidates stand out. (She’s one of the few recruiters I’ve worked with who strongly encouraged me to consistently write thank you notes, something I’ve come to know makes a huge difference in setting you apart from the rest of the candidates.) A work connection recommended getting in touch with Alexis Ackerman at GreenKey in order to help me with my job search. After messaging Alexis on LinkedIn, she got back to me within minutes. We discussed a time to meet in person and I was instantly impressed with Alexis’ drive, tenacity and work ethic. Right after we met, Alexis e-​mailed me with 5 different interview opportunities. The process moved incredibly quickly and within a matter of weeks, I had went on over 10 interviews and had signed a contract. It couldn’t have been an easier, more effortless process.

Was supposed to meet with a high-​level executive there, Melissa Wilk, instead they gave me to a junior recruiter, Katelyn York. Katelyn proceeded to rudely patronize me and tell me I was asking for too much money and that my resume needed an «overhaul.» I never went on their interviews, because they were undervaluing me, she told me I would be «lucky» to get 50k.
I made no changes to my resume, and landed a job for 75k the next week. They don’t have good positions, and they will try to force you into lower-​salary positions so they can take their cut. They’re unprofessional and crude, at least Katelyn was.

I’m surprised by the negative reviews about Green Key as I had a good experience with them.
I’m a CPA and I was stuck at a job where I was miserable (as was everyone else in my department). I was working insane hours and I was under unbearable stress and pressure. I went to a few recruiters to rescue me from my situation. They all told me I had a great resume and they liked me and will work with me but nothing much came of it.
I decided to contact GK after a friend who used them recommended them. I went to GK’s office and met with a recruiter. He was a nice guy, very professional and he seemed to understand my profession and the industry.
Within a few weeks he contacted me about a couple of positions he was working on. I interviewed with a company he referred me to. I liked the company, they liked me and they extended an offer after two interviews. I accepted their offer.
It was an amazing feeling to give notice at my old job! I’ve been with the new company GK placed me with for several months. I’m very happy, I’m making more money, my hours are much better and I have room for advancement.
Based on my personal experience I recommend GK.

I started off having a good experience when I initially worked with them last year. However, when I reached out this year for help after leaving my last company, I received absolutely no responses from my recruiter after speaking with her over the phone and sending my resume twice. I was offered event type opportunities last summer but I didn’t get any follow up or emails this time around and I was open to a broad range of industries, qualified through my resume highlights. Very disappointed in my last correspondence with them.

I was referred to Green Key by a friend when they contacted her about a position that she thought I’d be great for. I got in to meet with a recruiter pretty quickly, and was refreshed by how upfront he was about my experience and what he positions he thought I’d be good for. I left feeling really confident that he would work hard to get me placed in a great company. I got an interview for the initial position I’d been interested, and was thrilled. However, it was really difficult to get any kind of feedback or update on the process — I felt like maybe the recruiter completely forgot I’d even interviewed for the position. I didn’t get any updates unless I reached out to get them.
Since then, I’ve heard from the recruiter 5 times (over a 5 month period). I’ll basically get a phone call about an interview, go on said interview, and then not hear anything until I reach out for updates — and the answer is usually that the job specs have suddenly changed and they’re looking for someone completely different. Other than that, I get a few emails here and there for jobs that I am absolutely not interested in (despite our extensive conversations) and are paying less than my current job. This happens in waves, between weeks of complete radio silence.
I’ve worked with other recruiters and staffing agencies and had great experiences. But this one just seems like maybe they’re trying to work with as many people as possible so they have a better chance of getting on of their candidates placed in the position. I know that staffing agencies make their money off of filling positions, but I never felt like my recruiter was considering my best interests. I haven’t heard from him in a few weeks — not since he told me a company wanted to phone screen me and then responded to confirm a time. Since then I’ve taken my search elsewhere, and am glad to be working with a recruiter that is committed to finding the best role for me.

Wow, this place is so unprofessional that it’s obscene. The recruiter I worked with never listened to me. She edited my resume for jobs I told her I didn’t want. When I tried to discuss it with her, she swore at me. She told me I was a failure and being a diva. Meanwhile, she sent emails with abbreviations and weird jargon. Total disaster. Don’t use them!

I’m not sure why so many people have bad reviews of this company. I met with a recruiter who felt that I would be better suited with a rep from the temp department. 2 weeks later, a recruiter from the temp department requested me on linked in. She called me a few days later to discuss my work history, what I wanted to do, salary, etc. She mentioned a temp position with a company that I was dying to work for. An hour later she had an interview booked for me for that Friday. She sent me the LinkedIn profiles of the people I was meeting with and really prepped me for the interview. She was extremely helpful and encouraging. I interviewed for the position, and an hour later was offered the job. This recruiter was really helpful, and now I have an amazing opportunity with a great company. I couldn’t be happier!

These guys are the worst of the worst! They will convince you to change jobs just so they can make a commision. They will lie and deceive you to believe you are getting a better deal even when the new position is worse than what you already have.
Do not trust or believe a word they say. They do not look out for your best benefit. The only thing that matters to them is theur comission.

It is the worst therapist staffing agency I have ever worked with in my 17 years of career. They are known in NYC among Rehab therapists for two things: 1. Lowest paid; 2. Never respond to you when you have concerns or questions.
The only reason why people can put up with it is they can get many cheap assignments.
They’re money making machine, lack of respect and care for their therapists. Whenever they need you to work, they call you in an aggressive manner repetitively at inconvenient hours. But whenever you have simple questions, you can never get a response from them. They had delayed my pay check several times, with no answer, nor apologies. Once, my paycheck was even delayed for a few months!
Their health insurance and benefits are also a joke.

Treat your therapists with respect and respond to their concerns in a timely manner After all, it’s them who make money to keep your company going. Yes, To improve your service quality is the BEST reply to eliminate complains!

I’ve used several staffing agencies to get me an accounting job once I left one of the Big 4 and Green Key was the absolute worst.
They are so unprofessional– it’s ridiculous.
One called my cell phone and when I confronted him on how he got my personal cell phone number, he started getting defensive and said it was because of me. Then he asked when I could come it.
Wait why would I want to come in and meet with you when you were being a total sketch ball about how you got my personal cell phone number? I understand work numbers but cell numbers should be off limits unless purposely given to the company.
I told him I am extremely busy with work and wondered if we could work remotely like some other companies offered and he said that’s not how things work. Thanks– I know that. That’s why I was wondering if we could work that way. You know– to take advantage of my CPA/​big 4 status and get a bonus by placing me.
That was last year. Today I just got an email from Joy K. (Tehe I actually just saw another reviewer mention her– it’s not just me!) It was a follow up email to Gina. (My name is Sarah). I replied back saying that no thanks to the general email and good job on personalizing it. She then replied that that was human error and it was nice enough for her to respond to me that she would take me off the list. Ok– so nice. Maybe you shouldn’t have emailed my personal email to begin with. She also lied and said she personally wrote me an email but her original email said it was a follow up email and I never met or spoke to this lady.
Anyways my experience with green key is that they’re your stereotypical deceptive recruiters.
My favorite recruiters were Bryan from the Abacus Group and Lyndsay from Kforce. They are honest, helpful and never defensive– they understand that the client is always right and if the client isn’t, they do their best to educate them why they’re not instead of being rude to them because they understand they may have a future connection with them even if they don’t need a job at the moment. That’s professionalism.
