I’ve been seeing Dr. Skinner for over 4years.
Making an appointment has never been an issue. Everyone on his staff is always extremely nice and a pleasure to work with.
He’s always been extremely quick with any response and if I was ever feeling any type of pain between visits he was quick to jump on a call with my local Rx.
I would heavily recommend Dr. Skinner to anyone in the NYC area looking for a honest and knowledgeable Dentist.

I went to Dr Skinner after the previous dentist in his practice retired. He apparently stopped being an approved provider under my insurance after about a year and half, but no one in the office told me this fact until after I had my cleaning. So I said ok, I would move on to another doctor that was covered by my insurance. Flash forward 1 year later, I received a notice from a collection agency for the last cleaning. I had never received any bills or mail from Dr Skinner’s office. I called and was told that it is my responsibility to check each time I come in to see the doctor that they still take my insurance… so beware, it seems like they are not very well organized in their billing and you may get the short end of their poor management.

Went here for Zoom whitening using a Groupon. I’d read mixed things about Zoom and was a little apprehensive. Dr. Skinner took his time answering my questions and made me feel very comfortable about the whole thing. He’s friendly but not at all phony and super down-​to-​earth. Knocking one star off because an assistant performed my procedure (which went very well, btw, minimal pain and a very quick recovery period — less than 24 hours) instead of Dr. Skinner himself. It would have been nice to have known that before it was happening. It seemed like the office was super busy at the time, I’m sure that’s why. Anyway, I’ll be back for a cleaning/​regular dental stuff. Recommended.
