Blehhhh. Overcooked rice. Soggy vegetables. And somehow simultaneously bland and salty? Never again.

In my previous review of Guacstar, I was ADAMANT that I was breaking up(for good), but as with certain break-ups, some don’t stick. I figured… hey-I used to LOVE this place; there was something I used to love about it… maybe I can love them again. I’m no quitter for LOVE… maybe they were just«off» for those months(I reasoned). So… I went back for affirmation today and am still disappointed by the decline in the quality of the food. I got the«Brown» rice bowl again and it tasted like all of the ingredients came straight from the freezer. Sometimes frozen food from restaurants don’t «taste» «frozen», but this meal was conspicuously so. The portion(s) were still skimpy. No…for real… I’m breaking up with Guacstar forever this time… really…believe me no mas, PERIOD. This is the real end of the previous«end».

The quality is about as good a Chipotle but they have a fish option which I like. I wouldn’t go out of my way to come here unless you’re in the area and want fish tacos.

Not a good experience. Sangria and guacamole for 40 $??? Really? Never again guacamole was to spicy, couldn’t eat even a half and not a best sangria either

This place violates the cardinal rule of restaurants… If you’re going to charge a lot, the food better be either: A.) Good B.) Plentiful —- It is neither. This place is so ridiculous it’s almost funny. I can deal with $ 10 for a bowl of cat meat no problem, but at least don’t be stingy on the cat meat! Today was the last straw… I asked for extra hot sauce and the guy was like, «Sure, but just so you know, that’s $ 1 extra»…The entire vat of sauce couldn’t have been more than $ 1 for the whole thing… Seriously, this is the kind of place that probably considered putting a credit card machine on the bathroom door.

Awful lunch. The brisket was tasteless. The rice was hard, and they charge extra«double meat» for extra peppers.

Just went to this restaurant. The food was bland, it felt like a wannabe chipotle, but not even close in quality or taste. The servings were smaller that chipotle as well. I got the bowl and was still hungry after I finished. I also asked for extra pico and hot sauce and they wanted to charge me almost $ 3. If you want to go here, I recommend finding the closes Chipotle, you’ll be happy you did.

Not as bad as others make it out to be but they give you very little chicken in the Salad Bowl, I only go when chipotleis jam packed which is basically 11:30−1PM I would never eat Talapia that is what they use

This place was disappointing. The fish tacos, although larger, didn’t taste fresh and were soggy. They also came with very little besides the taco, maybe a few strands o cabbage. I had to pay extra for some just ok guacamole. Won’t return.

Nasty! Nasty! Nasty! If you want Chipotle, go to Chipotle! This place is Zigolini’s attempt«to be more Mexican» to quote their own words. I don’t know what has possessed them to turn their perfectly good chain of deli, restaurant and hot bar chain into this mess of a mess. The deli has gone south, the restaurant chained their menu and took off my favorite Penne a la Vodka dish, this Guacstar business is not worth returning to. Not to mention that the menu was confusing and food was bad.
