Really enjoyed how literally the only thing I asked was that the cutter (stylist is a lofty term) not give me a bob, because I need to be able to tie my hair up.
I now have a bob. And I paid $ 40 for this guy to disregard my wishes and then tell me he was going to donate my hair. Next time I’ll just trust a 3 year old with safety scissors– results about the same. So, not the best.

Somewhat new to the neighborhood and was looking for a solid haircut and blowout. I don’t need the fancy name, the chai tea or the massages many salons try to push on you to jack up the prices. This cute little spot did not have too many reviews but I stopped in and spoke with the owner, Arthur, the day before and just got a nice feel. He has owned the shop for quite some time and seems to have a loyal following. I was treated very professionally, no wait at all. Had a coupon for a conditioning treatment, which is on the website and he accepted it despite the fact that it had expired, which was very nice. Arthur cut my hair, not a terribly complicated haircut as my hair is long and I wanted a texturized trim with a slight angle in the front. He took a tremendous amount of time making sure it was done to perfection and blew it out exactly as I wanted it. I highly recommend Hair Décor and will return

Very unassuming place. Caters to all Yorkville residents. No loud music, no talkative hairstylists, very casual ambience. I use Olga. She’s great. Does exactly what you want. I always look great. Great colorist, great haircuts. Place is a real find in the neighborhood

I live a block away and have been going there for 10 years. You could not ask for a nicer and more experienced team. The owner, Arthur, is a really great guy and very talented.
I highly recommend them to anyone in the area who wants a haircut or any related services.
