Halal carts definitely vary from one street to another in Manhattan. This particular cart do not have their meat exposed but it’s usually cooked-to-order which is a plus. They also use Yellow curried rice which is unique. Their hot sauce is a bit lacking in flavor and liquidy and their white sauce was ok but a bit bland. A lamb over rice will cost you $ 5 but with Falafel(they gave me 4!) and Pita it will run yoiu $ 7 which still isn’t bad considering Delis around this area charge $ 6.99+tax per pound of food youy pick at the Hot and Cold Food/Salad bars. Not a bad option and the amount of food you get is worth it if you’re really wanting to eat at a budget. T
