WARNING: DO NOT GO TO THIS DRY CLEANERS! This is by far the worst service I have ever received. I dropped off a specific amount of items which I and my coworkers personally counted as well as the cashier when we dropped them off. Not only did they lose some of our items but they wouldn’t accept the blame or even apologize for losing these items, in fact they were rude about it. When I asked to speak with the manager he was extremely unprofessional and refused to compensate us at all (the value of the items they lost was over $ 130.00).
My advice, don’t use this business. They need to «CLEAN» up their act if you ask me.

I have been coming to Happy Cleaners for 4 years. They always open on time and are even open a little past their official closing time. Their turnaround time for clothing is also very timely. If you hand in clothing before 8:30am, they can return your clothing by the end of day (depending on how many articles of clothing/​how much work needs to be done).
As many of their customers, I work in a corporate setting where you have to look your best. I have had the following tailored here: Shirts, Suits, Dress slacks, Blazers and even Shorts, Jeans.
They can bring in the sides of your baggy dress shirts. Tailor your suits and blazers to have a more couture look. Tighten the width of your pant legs/​hem the bottoms. Bring in the waist of your shorts, or even loosen them, etc. I even had my window drapes hemmed here! There is nothing that they cannot tailor or adjust. Its simply amazing and the price is affordable.
The quality of items dry cleaned is also great. All done off-​site but if I was to notice a stain is not fully removed, they will return it and try their best to remove it. They are very patient and always want to make sure I am happy with my returned clothing.
As I live down the street, I rarely have them deliver clothing. From my experience, they have always delivered on-​time.
I highly suggest you check this place out, they’re great.

All around great drycleaner! Good prices for the area and always do a good job. I do my own alterations but my friends have said great things about the job they do here, so I’ve sent other friends to rave reviews!

11.50 to dry clean a suit. I’m a fan of low prices!

I use them a lot but they keep on screwing up on delivery. This is the second time they’ve now promised something and haven’t delivered. They assured me that my clothes would be delivered by Wednesday then Thursday morning and the one top I asked them to ensure was delivered by Thursday as I’m flying Friday at 7am was not. I’m so annoyed at them and it’s not the first time. Also the white on the black and white clothes has gone yellow. Aaaargh! I am not using them again

I’m fairly new to this place, but so far I like them. They’re really nice in the shop, get my clothes back to me pretty quickly, and even drop it off in my building because I live so close. Their prices are in line with NY prices.
There have been a few instances where I asked them to re-​iron a collar here or there but they took care of it with no questions asked and were really pleasant about it. Overall a solid place.

I am amazed at how well this place cleaned my Navy Dress whites…
I had a really big red wine stain on sleeve and pants from Fleet Week festivities.
my buddies were joking that I had ruined a new uniform and all I will have is a souvenir from NYC. but WOW!!! when I picked up uniform, there was not a spot or any sign of the wine stain… great job

I brought four pieces here to be tailored: two were hems on pants and the other two were more complicated. I had a jumpsuit and a dress that needed to be fitted. I’m happy with all four items. I used to do my own alterations so I’m very specific about what I like. I dropped the items off late Saturday afternoon and picked them up that Thursday after work. I would definitely go back to Happy Cleaners & Tailors.

Really disappointed by the dry cleaning service. I took my husbands button down shirt there and while they did a good job getting the ring around the collar out, I’ve never seen so many wrinkles in a professionally laundered shirt

Love love this place! Brought my jumpsuit here that needed MAJOR tailoring because I was wearing it to the Grammys and they did an exceptional and timely job (not to mention the great price)!
I’ve brought other pieces here as well and I will only use them from here on out!

They provide pretty good, timely service. I’ve used them for dry cleaning, minor modifications (e.g. hemming), and repairs over the past year. They also provide free delivery; they were one day late with a delivery once but otherwise have always been on time.

I brought a bridesmaid dress to get altered at Happy Cleaners & Tailors and I was very impressed with the quality of work and service. The dress was chiffon and had two layers. They altered it well and the dress fit perfect for an affordable price. I would definitely bring my other garments back here!

Great job on a few pairs of pants and a cocktail dress and reasonably priced. I will be returning!

I used them to alter my dress for my sister’s wedding. They did an awesome job shortening the 50’s style circle skirt and taking in the sides. The dress was ready when they said it would be. Win win!
I’m actually bringing them my mother in law’s down coat which needs to be shortened. I’ll let you know how that goes!

I have been going here for about a year, but just stopped being a customer today. i went to pick up my favorite red and white striped dress, and the red bled all over and the dress is now red and pink. The dress had been dry cleaned here without a problem in the past, but this time the dress came back unwearable. I will never go back here again, nor recommend that anyone take anything they truly care about here.

Been going here for about a year now. Really not happy with the service for a few reasons.
1) Your clothes will never be back on time. I frequently ask them when I will have my clothes back and they will give me a date and time and I recieve my clothes back a day and a half later.
2) Got into work today and there is a huge black stain on a shirt that I just got back from the cleaners. This is the second time this has happened.
3) My clothes were delayed by about 2 days so I called to ask what happened and apparently my pants needed more time at the cleaners. They only told me this after I called.
Take your clothes somewhere else. This place is terrible.

Great quality tailoring and the nicest people!
Brought my chiffon bridesmaid dress here back in May, had to shorten it to floor length and take it in at the waist/​bust area. The nice older gentleman had me try on the dress with the shoes I would be wearing, and he pinned it gently and meticulously. They said it would be ready for pickup within a week (even though I wasn’t in a hurry), and they were true to their word — I came back a week later and it was ready.
The quality of the tailoring was perfection. I couldn’t even tell that the dress had been altered; it was as if I had bought it that way. The dress had a few layers to it as it was long and flowy, and the bust/​waist area had layers of chiffon with a corset like bodice. I have a wedding coming up in September and need to chop the dress for that as well — will definitely come back here!

Amazing, excellent tailoring. I’ve shopped around NYC for a good tailor, some quoting me $ 100+ (more than what my dress is worth!) to take it in a bit at the waist and the shoulder area. I read some reviews about Happy Cleaners and decided to give it a try. I’ve trusted the owner with my Theory shift dress (great work done here) and a Club Monaco dress recently (also fantastic. Took it in slightly just as I asked, plus helped me with the extra material in the back by bringing the material in with two seams, work is very well done and I think he drastically improved the overall fit of the dress and therefore the design). I’ve never gotten anything dry cleaned here, but I suspect I will start using all their offered services.
Bottom line: Quality tailoring for a great price. Hems cost ~$ 20, FYI.

I started going to this cleaner/​tailor when I worked nearby and I love it so much that I know hike there from 14 blocks away dragging my clothes because it’s simply the best.
My dry cleaning is always perfect and the tailoring is amazing. I had a winter coat with a completely ruined lining and a fallen out zipper. He fixed it better than new and it cost me about $ 25.
Don’t be put off my the appearance, the service is stellar and my clothes always come back perfect. Highly recommend.

I came here to get some alterations done because it’s close-​ish to my job. I needed some hems re-​sewn because sometimes I like to go out after work and drop it like it’s hot… and my sheath dresses do not play along!
The work was nice quality, and the prices were much cheaper than I was expecting. I had one dress seam re-​sewn where it split, and a skirt hem re-​sewn when it fell out. To do both pieces was $ 17. I think it took the guy 3 days to complete (but then Hurricane Sandy hit so I was late picking up!).
Happy Cleaners also does laundry and dry cleaning. Not sure what those services are like, but I definitely recommend them for cheap, quick alterations.
