I had the pleasure of acting under Amanda Thompson a few years ago as part of an acting internship. She was not only open to hearing our ideas as our time there progressed to a culmination of a showcase, but always made herself available for any questions or concerns regarding material we were working on, etc. She gave direction but also left enough room for us to learn and create for ourselves which encouraged a positive, constructive environment. It doesn’t hurt that she’s super friendly as well!
