A number of years ago I used Hess to repair some antique porcelain pieces. I was happy with the workmanship on the first piece they repaired, but the second experience was disastrous. When I went to pick up the next piece, they claimed I had already picked it up which was a complete lie. My advice is not trust them with any valuable and/or beloved possession.

They do a fantastic job. But boy will you pay. Through the nose.

This place was recommended to me by Tiffany’s. And I am soooo impressed. I broke a spout on our Wedgwood coffee pot. I did have a broken off piece but it was still missing chips and was not making a smooth connection with the rest of the pot. I shipped it to Hess Restorations. I did not want to pay for the complete job of re-firing the pot. I opted to just cement the piece in place. I received the pot looking brand new! The piece is attached smoothly and I cannot tell where it was broken or that it was broken at all! And this is without re-firing the entire piece. I am so pleased with the work.
