Fabulous! Clean, fast and they do a wonderful job with their threading! Been back a few times since I discovered it two months ago.

No frills, no small talk, no nonsense– just excellent service at an excellent price. I visited during an off-​time (Tuesday at 4) and even though I didn’t have the legendary Pinky at my device, my beautification did an excellent job: she was quick, accurate and extremely efficient. An eyebrow threading and a lower leg wax plus 15% tip was under $ 40. This isn’t about pampering and ambiance but about quality, reasonably priced service. I’ll be back :)

Pinky was definitely the most popular threader there. I had to wait thirty minutes but she was definitely good!

Stopped by on a Saturday. It wasn’t busy at all. There was only one girl working. She was friendly and did a great job. I’m used to threading being a little painful, not one second of it hurt! I’m also used to leaving with my eyebrows being somewhat red. I was able to walk out without any evidence I just touched up my brows. It was $ 7 for eyebrows. I got a punch card afterwords. I would definitely recommend this place to friends.

I think that your experience really depends on who you get. I’m a threading newbie, but once I tried other places, I realized how my experience here was lackluster in comparison. I liked the fact that you get a bit of a massage with aloe vera to ease the pain in the end. The woman who did my brows shaped them nicely. That being said, the threading itself was more painful than other spots I’ve been to. I didn’t realize this until I had gotten home, but I also had some cuts on the underside of my brows.
I say that if you come here, just go straight to the best threader there, just in case. I believe her name is Pinky. The customer service is great and you can get a loyalty card which makes your 10^th threading session free.

Got to NYC. Looked in a mirror and damn my brows needed to be tamed. Unilocaled this place which was not too far from our hotel. $ 7! In and out in less than 15 minutes. Happy brows.

AMAZING place to get eyebrows threaded. Kinda small, but clean, kind, attentive and efficient. Not a very long wait even when you come during their rush hours. Everything I look for in an eyebrow place. Ask for Pinky!

I was in the area and needed my brows threaded desperately. Unilocal came to the rescue with the recommendation and it’s been great so far. Painless and inexpensive. Love the aloe vera as a finishing product.
Hindu is personable and does a great job in executing my wants and shape for my brows. I like my eyebrows full with an arch shape and Hindu does a good job with the final result.
They also have a rewards system, where the 10^th session is free.
I’ve been back twice and has become my go-​to spot. I shall return.

I’ve been going to Pinky for about 3 years now, and she knows how to thread asian brows. ⁹⁄₁₀ times she’ll do a phenomenal job and do exactly what I wanted! Make sure you’re clear about what you want beforehand.
The salon is very simple and small but gets the job done for a great price. Student price is $ 6 and there is a stamp card to work your way up to a free threading. Pay cash to avoid an extra fee!

I came here for the first time yesterday and had a great experience. I went around 6:15 PM (after work) so there was a line of about 5 people ahead of me. However, it went fast.
My eyebrows came out great; this is the best they’ve ever looked.
It’s only $ 7…great deal.
This place is kind of hard to find, so you have to pay attention and then go to the 2^nd floor.
You get a rewards card to work your way up to a free threading; the guy at the cash register was really nice and very organized. I will be back!

I’ve been here a few times and it’s my new go-​to spot I trust for eyebrows in NYC. Never broke out, the eyebrow artists (I’ll call them artists because they’ve fixed me up at my worst) did a good job fixing them when I over and under plucked from certain areas. I never had any sanitary issues and they were always gentle with me.
Also, staff is friendly and everyone in the salon plays Bollywood movies and music, so it feels like coming home after a long and arduous work day (or in the middle of it — because I would rather do this in the afternoon rather than right after work).
For NYC prices are good — otherwise I think it’s way too much for what I would end up paying in Long Island.
Def get a loyalty card from them that they can stamp. This way you can get that free eyebrow threading after spending all that moolah + tip on those «on fleek» brows.

Not sure why this place has such good reviews. I just moved to the city a couple months ago and it’s so hard finding a good eyebrow artist. They were so rough on my eyebrows. And I could feel the eyebrow artist accidentally taking hairs out of my left eye brow when she was working on my right eye brow, so now a chunk of my eyebrow is gone!
Needless to say, not coming back.

TLDR: COME HERE FOR TO BE FLEEK AF
As a humble worker bee of midtown, I probably spend 60% of my week at work or commuting, which doesn’t leave a lot of time for anything else. Luckily, Himalaya is right outside my office and service is always quick.
Threading is painful, but it doesn’t have to be an excruciating experience if you sit down with the right person. The workers make the process quick and as painless as possible. I can honestly notice a difference in comfort when I get my brows done here versus a salon near my house.
But the real takeaway is that they listen to your needs and try to maintain whatever shape of brows you want. I’ve always left with a perfect clean up/​shape up.
The salon is pretty small but I’ve never had to wait long. I wouldn’t suggest going after work but maybe during a late lunch period. They accept cash and card, and their prices are honestly reasonable for being in the city.

If you think something is too good to be true, it probably is…
I would not recommend this place. Although the price (especially for its location) is enticing, I would rather pay good money for a sanitary environment and not break out all over my face.
First off, when you walk in, it looks like its falling apart. Dingy curtains hanging, and an overall pigsty.
Secondly, the girl who did my lip and eyebrows clearly didn’t wash or use clean tools, or maybe her hands weren’t clean because since I’ve left, the area around my eye brows and lip/​chin have broken out like nothing I’ve ever experienced before. To the point that I’ve had to now make a dermatologist appointment. She was also very rough which led to welts all over my forehead.
I’ve had my brows threaded before at other places and nothing like this has ever happened to me. I was really hoping this place was a hidden gem but unfortunately, I will not be returning.

I came to get my eyebrows done before my engagement shoot, but had to leave with a band aid on my forehead because they removed a mole on my face. It bleed a lot, and words can hardly describe how extremely worried I was because moles are supposed to be removed in sanitized environments like medical offices instead of threading salons by unprofessionals who have no idea about how to deal with these kind of situations. On top of everything, she gave me super straight eyebrows which look awful. I really wish that I have never set foot there.

Eek! I’d never had my brows threaded before. I’ve always had them waxed but I have very thin skin and it sometimes comes off with the wax. If this happens to you — resort to threading.
I love its proximity to the train station and my workplace — but honestly, the speed they move at is just amazing and tops it all for me. They are so polite and so nice, it really couldn’t get any better. They make you feel comfortable, especially after a long work day. They do some prepping and then get right into it and add some aloe to soothe your brows. It is super clean and the results are great. Plus, it’s $ 7, that’s how much I’d pay in Brooklyn to get them waxed. Note there is a .90c-​$ 1 surcharge if you use card.
They also have a rewards card — which I will be certain to use when I come back.

Moving to a new city = finding a new person to trust with my eyebrows.
Pinky is that person. She’s efficient and knows what’s she’s doing — especially with my slightly vague instructions (who really knows how to explain how they like their eyebrows!?)
Clean, quick, and reasonably priced: I would highly recommend coming here to get your eyebrows done.
There could be a line at any given time but it should never take more than half an hour!

I have to agree with some of the other reviewers who said this place is dingy and just OK. It’s located in the diamond district on top of a jewelry store. There were about 5 girls working the night I went, but it was obvious that Pinky was the most popular one… I had to wait about 15 min to see her. I thought she was alright, I’ve been to much better threaders though. She wasn’t overly harsh with me but my eyes did tear up. I asked her to shape and clean my brows without taking too much off. She didn’t take much off and cleaned them a little, but where is the shape? I also understand Hindi so it was funny to hear her trying to make Sunday lunch plans while she was working on me and her colleague was working on someone else. Maybe that’s why my brows aren’t shaped ;-)

SO IMPRESSED! They’re quick and still do an amazing job. I was looking for a cheap place to get my eyebrows threaded and actually made the hike to get here. I called in ahead of time to see if there was a long wait and the guy who answered (really friendly!) said I’m free to walk in anytime because they’ll be ready. When I got there, I was honestly scared because there were 8 other people sitting down. But surprisingly, I was called up in less than 10 minutes! I’m not sure what the other ladies were waiting for but eyebrow threading is definitely quick.
I didn’t ask for the girl who did my brows name but she was really good. I have nothing bad to say about this place! And it was only $ 7! Definitely coming back :)

Super Salon proche de Times Square qui propose des ongles et des épilations à un prix très raisonnable ! Il faut chercher un peu car l’endroit est au deuxième étage au-​dessus d’une boutique de bijoux en or mais les demoiselles sont charmantes et le service est rapide !
