Ideal Moving & Storage

A friend recommended I call ideal to get an estimate for my upcoming move.
When I first spoke with them, they were attentive and diligent. I told them I wasn’t ready to firm book and that was ok.
Three days later I got a call asking to set up the moving times and as I said initially i wasn’t ready to firm book.
Long story short, they were nasty and very uncooperative on this front. Needless to say, they will not be moving my furniture.

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS! I submitted an online request for quotes for moving companies. Most sent me an email, maybe followed up with a courtesy phone call, but when I didn’t respond, they left me alone. IDEAL MOVING & STORAGE called and called, texted, emailed… 19 different times, and kept lowering their price. When I finally signed a contract with them, they emailed me the next day and said they couldn’t honor their contract price because it was too cheap (the day before they’re supposed to show up). I get upset and tell them that we have a contract and they have to honor it, and they refuse. Next their sales manager calls me and proceeds to verbally abuse me by telling me I’m trying to dictate the cost of my move. Mind you, Joseph Cem emailed me at 5 a.m. on July 4^th to send me a new quote, unsolicited. Then she sends me an email, and tells me i can’t do this, blah blah blah. This company uses BAIT & SWITCH tactics to get you to sign, and then when you’re in a pinch, they hit you with the higher costs, and then «offer to help you out by meeting you halfway.» They accepted NO responsibility for their actions, but blamed it on their software. What a bunch of losers!!!
