I lived in Brooklyn for about 8 years, which means that I had 8 years to accumulate more stuff than anyone else on the planet. I had things buried in nooks and crannies that I had forgotten existed! When I moved to the UWS, I was completely overpowered by boxes(and boxes and boxes… and more boxes) and trying to fit everything I owned into a brand new, smaller space was daunting. Melissa was AWESOME. I needed help in the worst way and she made things so much easier for me. When she arrived, she got straight to work… tearing through boxes and unpacking like a little stylish, yet organized Tazmanian devil. During our sessions, I would sometimes get overwhelmed and slightly despondent with the amount of stuff I had, but Melissa helped me get through it. Sometimes she would push me to keep going and sometimes she would direct me to an easier task, such as eating dinner… or looking up stuff on the internet… or playing with my dog, while she muscled her way through. I am so thrilled that I called In The Grooves and could not have done it without her.

Really great service! Melissa is a pleasure to work with! She is very professional and patient. Living and working in NYC a can be daunting at times. Getting letters out, thank you cards, Christmas gifts or simply organizing a to-do list, gets pushed to the side all too often. In The Grooves helped me mail books out to my clients. The entire process was very professional and I didn’t have to take more than 15 minutes from my day to brief Melissa on what I needed done, go over the specifics, and get her my client list. Everything was done via email and online. Melissa has a great attention to detail and asked pointed key questions about the task. It doesn’t surprise me that when she emailed me her first run at it for approval that everything was perfect and she had my approval immediately, wasting no time. A few hours later, 148 books were sent out and I couldn’t have been happier.”
