Cute little gallery space in Chinatown that i stopped in to recently. The show was called City as subject matter. Belfast, Hong Kong, New Delhi, New York, Tel Aviv, Tirana & beyond.
I kinda wanna complain that there were no complimentary beverages but I should talk about the art.
There were a series of photos of city scapes, contrast invert to look like negatives. Then bursting out of the center, a colorful geometric shape w an organic other worldly scene. Rejuvenation? Contact w aliens? You be the judge.
There were also some video art pieces. My fav might be the little cars. Toy cars tricked out w flowers & found objects. Nice.
