I was just walking around this area when I got really hungry. I was craving pizza(as always) so I just dropped in here. Wasn’t expecting much but I have to say, their pizza wasnt that bad. Maybe because it was piping hot but I really enjoyed my plain slice. I needed my pizza fix and this pizza did just that. Theres like 5 tables and not a lot of space.

Went here after a night out of drinking and dancing. This is definitely a popular late night spot as we were one of the lucky few groups that was able to find a table. I had a slice of the Margherita pizza and the meat lovers pizza. Both were a good size and had decent flavor, but definitely not anything to write home about. If you’re looking for a quick bite after a night out, this place is a good option. Otherwise, I might try somewhere else – it is NYC after all.

Not making dinner reservations in Manhattan on Friday night the weekend before Christmas – not such a good idea. Two hungry kids, blowing wind and 38 degrees, we walked out of two nicer sit down establishments due to thirty to forty minute waits. I am really not a fan of New York style pizza, but at this point we were starving. Walking in this establishment blindly, we were greeted immediately. I was shocked to see about seven different styles of Pizza all sold by the slice. We ordered a Margarita, pepperoni– green pepper, cheese, and a type of calzone/chicken concoction that I have never seen before. I was expecting greasy, wipe your hands between every bite pizza. What you received was some darn tasty pizza, each with its own distinct flavor. We sat in the back enjoying the heat of the pizza oven and relished our slice of New York deliciousness.

Great pizza, stayed firmly together. Got pepperoni and mushrooms, nothing crazy, tastes great. Also got a fried chicken thigh, was pretty good, nothing to write home about.

Really crappy. Tasted like frozen pizza with stiff, stale cheese. The ingredients were not fresh. Also the price was a joke. Charged $ 9 for two slices that weren’t even as good as NYC dollar slice. Never again.

The guys that work in here are mostly Pakistani or Bengali and they work really hard and mean well. However, sometimes the language barrier can be quite steep. The pizza is good tasting. The pasta is not terrible, but I don’t think they even cook it on the premises. I am pretty sure it is made and packaged somewhere else, then they just add cheese and reheat it in the pizza oven. For awhile they had sign that said«Ravioli special» but the sign showed a photo of Ziti. Major fail. lol. When I ordered Penne all of the workers had to have a little discussion in their own language about what it was, because they kept talking intensely and pointing at the sign. What I got was a reasonable facsimile of penne but not really. lol. It’s not authentic Italian food but it will do the trick in a pinch.

Okay this place makes me laugh. So much that I can’t even give a bad review. I walked in around 9pm, everywhere else was closing, we dreamt of pizza and needed to have it. so we walked in and they took our order. The poor guy behind the counter was basically all by himself because the other guy didn’t do anything. So after he took our order he said it would be 15−20min. I figured 20 – 25 to have a grace period. 10minutes after he took our order he asked again what I wanted because he didn’t quite understand. I said plain pie with basil, garlic and tomato. easy, right? They didn’t have fresh basil. I laughed and said this is an italian pizza place. the guy shrugged his shoulders. so I said I didn’t need it, but asked for oregano instead. 40 minutes after that, my friend and I are staring at each other realizing this is taking way longer then it should as my husband is calling wondering where we are. So finally the pizza comes out. Hers was wrong, mine was what it was and don’t even know what we got charged for, but were desperate and starving and just walked home with our pies. Her boyfriend couldn’t eat theirs because he hates blue cheese and somehow that ended up on there. My «large» pie was actually a medium and we basically needed more. I will never go back, but it made a great story and I felt bad for confusing the hell out of the guy that was working asking for basil.

Bad pizza place. Their website has specials for cheese pies. The people who work there could not figure out what the internet was as well as a website and yelled at me in Spanish and called me stupido and I just hung up.

This is one of those pizza places that you walk across, stop and stare at the pizza and think to yourself«Really shouldn’t». Eventually, that voice gets dimmer and you walk in and have some. Pizza is pretty tasty though. Thick ingredients and a changing selection up front. Also some nice craft beers in bottle. The pizza could be warmer coming out, and the cheese meltier, but sometimes«walkby pizza» is just what you need.

It’s perfect place to curb the post-bar-hopping pizza craving. My friends and I went here after a night of dancing and bars at around 3am. There was another table of late night partiers and we all had a good time. The regular pizza slices are fine — what’s great is the buffalo chicken pizza. That special one is really special. also, the buffalo wings are good too. I would go back again after bar-hopping any night!

No ice for soft drinks and bathroom out of order. Pizza was okay. Staff was not unfriendly but not friendly. I’ll find another place for my drunk midnight hunger.

Pizza is good. I got the Pepperoni and Chicken Cutlet slice. It had a Grade A in the front window and that’s what attracted me to this place before I binge drink. They have a decent clean bathroom and the guys behind the counter were nice. Overall it was clean and food was good.

Don’t order pickup from this place! The owner pretends to take a phone order and when you pickup after giving them 20 mins of time, he claims that it will only take 5 mins.(He didn’t even make it. He only starts to make when you show up!) It takes 12+ mins, not 5. Weird! & Irritating! Is he trying to fill up his store by making you wait?(Done it twice already!) Only call for delivery or eat in.

Can’t go wrong here. Great prices for great slices!!! For first timers, get the plain cheese. when you are ready, dabble in to the more complex pies.

Pizza was OK. The guys who work there super nice. But 4 bucks for a pepperoni-ground beef pizza. RA — Ape! That’s half a pie in Florida.

At $ 5.45, the sandwich special is a good deal. I got the meatball parm sub and I was happy when I left.

I keep having to try these random pizza places within the city because of all the nasty food at my job. Tasty sauce is a big plus for me and this place hits the nail on the head. I usually have a low tolerence for crappy pizza unless i am on a drinking binge so this place had to really impress me to write anything. It seems that most delis and most anything now sell pizza in new york city but only a few get it to be passable as an edible slice to a REAL new yorker. Any tourist can come here and eat this stuff and think it is the best stuff on earth but for real New Yorkers it has to be good. Chicken pesto pizza is what I had and it was great! I will come again

Walking down 9th Ave. and get some hunger pains, and either don’t have the money, a date, or the desire to hit up one of the cool, hip, ZAGAT-rated hot spots? Then go here, you destitute, lonely weirdo. Big, thick-crusted, tasty-sauced slices, real friendly service, good prices, comfortable dining area which, unlike most pizza joints and even some of the fancy restaurants, is not cramped at all. Get some garlic knots, too… very tasty, and they’ll keep the vampires away, as well. There’s about 485 places to get pizza in this neighborhood alone, and obviously I haven’t tried them all, but Pizza Plus is a good spot to be noted for some quick, cheap eats.

Finally, I found a NON-99c pizza in Hell’s Kitchen for quality late night appetite sustenance satisfaction. I’m sorry but I just don’t find any solace in consuming a template designed pizza out of a package. Sand-paper bottomed, the crust is legit and satisfies my palate. Fresh sauce, and lots of variety of flavors, Pizza Plus is good enough.
