I saw the 1 and only review(5 stars) and decided to go since they had appointments available on very short notice. I wouldnt go back here even if it were offered for free. Upon checkin the ladies at asked if I wanted champagne or mimosa or. and I said some water would be great. I was then asked to go downstairs to meet the esthetician. The room smelled very bad, the sheets were dirty, there was no place to put the coat so I had to leave it on the floor. The esthetician who was male(I prefer my facials by a female, at least a warning on the phone would have been nice) said he’d step out and when I was ready call him. I called him at east 5 times in the span of 7 minutes before he responded. The door doesnt close so it was open and I could hear him talking throughout, so I wondered if could hear me and chose not to respond or if he just didnt hear me. Esthetician went in and out only a million times in the hour that I was there, he would come in turn on the steam, go out, I’d hear him talking to clients or other people, I heard some indian soap playing on televison downstairs and music upstairs. He’d come back, say steam not enough turn it up a notch and go out again. And so on. While he was in the room he indulged in some very inappropriate conversation. ‘are you stressed’ - me: ‘err nothing out of the ordinary what stresses you, I can be a counselor’ me: uncomfortable silence There were 2 women at the counter but the esthetician also joined them making the tipping and check out experience only more uncomfortable. Perhaps the water I requested was forgotten, but that was the least annoying part.
