Is this Jack Jack’s wife’s Freda’s husband? Laugh with tears…
I took a short run to this coffee shop after hearing many positive comments about it — totally get the hype! Upon entry, I was completely shocked by the photo wall to my right and got attracted by the coffee bean scent to my left. Definitely one of the best cappuccinos I have tried, very smooth!
I really should have sit down and enjoy the cosy feeling, unfortunately have to rush back to work… TGIF!

their coffee and pastries are really overpriced. they used to have a system where one could obtain a free coffee drink after ten punches on a punch card but they abandoned that, making
the place even more pricey! they don’t seem to have much respect or regard for their customers and the average employee seems to last about two weeks, also not a good sign.

Great [but small] spot to sit, rest and have a cup. I am taking off one star only because the place is so small that when there’s a crowd, it becomes a bit cramped… Other than that it’s what you want, delicious, robust coffee, nice accompaniments and a fun atmosphere.

The latte I had was so comforting. Cinnamon, honey in almond milk (always a plus for us non-​dairy people). The atmosphere was small but quaint, service polite and friendly. Four stars only for lack of space.

enough can’t be said about Jack’s Stir Brew Coffee. this place has become a top contender on my list of Favorite NYC Coffee Shops. coffee is robust and brewed perfectly meaning it’s not too bold or overpowering. you get a good strong cup here, and you know it the minute you take a sip. it’s a small space, so if you can manage to figure out your order beforehand you’re better off as it can get crowded easily and especially during the morning rush. when I visited Jack’s I got a drip coffee with a chocolate dipped biscotti (out of this world!), but the rest of the specialty drink menu was very intriguing. I’ll have to visit again to try some of those. the pastries are worth checking out, as well. like I said, the biscotti was mind blowing, but everything else was equally as tempting.
good service, great menu, great coffee, great pastries. everything about Jack’s is great!

This is a great coffee spot if you are looking for a caffeine kick with a twist. My go-​to beverage is the Happy Jack (honey cinnamon latte). Yum and yum!!!

Little coffeeshop in my neighborhood that I go to get my morning coffee/​bagel fix. The space isn’t big enough to take groups but it’s nice to grab a quick bite or takeout, and you can find a place to chill in the South Street Seaport area.

It’s always packed on the weekends, people waiting for their drinks and there’s really no line formation, expensive ((hey, 10th street is not a cheap retail location)), BUT it’s good coffee, really cute branding, and a nice choice in the west village that isn’t ‘bucks.

Came here on a Sunday afternoon, and the place was pretty packed. My friend and I got 2 bar seats that were not in the best location to sit as it was in front of all the sugar packets and cup holders. The venue itself wasn’t big, seats about 10 people (small tables). By the time we left there was a line. We both got cappuccinos; It was pretty good, but a bit on the pricey side.

Small, cozy and wonderful coffee shop. I ordered a chai latte, it was delicious, honestly it was one of the best chai lattes I’ve ever had. The space is small, but they arranged quite a bit of seating despite the confined space.

Jack’s is small, but they manage to fit in some tables. It was very crowded for a random weekday morning. Guess it’s the local hot spot.
They have an interesting specialty menu but I opted for an iced cappuccino. It was not cheap but it was delicious-​perfect amount of foam. Nice pastry selection as well.
The only part that annoys me is the self-​serve sugar area. There’s nowhere to put your coffee while opening sugar so basically you have to hope for the best that your coffee doesn’t fall on the floor. Every coffee place should have ample area to «dress» your coffee.

Groß kann man dieses Café beim besten Willen nicht nennen, es sei denn ich wollte auf den Geschmack des Kaffees abheben. Alles in Allem gibt es ganze sagenhafte vier Tische. An zweien der beiden lässt sich ein Platz dekorativ im Schaufenster einnehmen. Ein schöner Rücken kann… und so, Ihr wisst schon. Die Einrichtung begreife ich nicht als typisch für ein Café, obwohl alles bodenständig und erdig wirkt. Wenn ich mir die Deckenventilatoren und die Beleuchtung genauer betrachte, denke ich an Kuba und höhere Temperaturen. Jedenfalls nicht an ein Wiener Kaffeehaus. Das mag ich, ist nämlich gemütlich. Kaffeebohnen bzw. –pulver für daheim kann ich auch kaufen oder ein aufgebrühtes Heißgetränk to-​go. Quantität, Qualität und Preis harmonieren.

Great coffee, cute space, great community. Our absolute favorite in NYC! A real neighborhood place with nice employees and unique coffee drinks. It’s small so not good for sitting and working. Only four tables and people sit and talk there. But the best place to come for a morning or weekend cup. LOVE.

I’m rating on the coffee alone. I got a large soy mocha to go.
One thing I find in the US is that most people cannot make a decent cup of coffee. Yes Starbucks, I’m looking at you. What’s more the to go ones are usually much worse and in particular the large, something to do with too much milk.
Regardless I was in the village and wanted a coffee so I googled to find a suggestion. This was listed as the best. Now, granted I’ve never had another coffee in the village. I’m not even sure I need to now.
Although I didn’t stay the place was nice, small and cosy and the staff friendly. The place had a B rating but I didn’t get any food so it didn’t concern me so much.
Great job on the coffee, I’ll be back!
